Chapter 1: Still Remains

All she remembered was the sun scorching her skin, then being consumed by a never-ending thirst. Searching for anything that bleeds, she picks up on a spoor and jolts in excitement. Human blood, ambrosial. Turning her head towards it, suddenly it’s not as satiating, but still, it will do. Better than one of a cervid. She settles and tracks the scent.

Her senses cut through the fog-ridden forest, guiding her straight to the source. Coming closer, the scent drowns her nerves. Her compulsion erupts. She leaps over logs and closes in on her prey.

Aerith grips the stake holstered on her waist and watches her back. Just the wind. Slowly, she looks forward, but then branches break. Whipping around, something lunges at her. Aerith points her stake out, but the figure’s movements slow, then stagger, stumbling onto her in a final grip. She guards her neck with her forearm, then observes the strange behavior. Her gaze lowers from its foggy eyes to its lips, which twitch between states of mind. The vampire’s grip fades, so Aerith shoves it away. It sprints back into the shadows. Strange.

I did Zanka in part 1 but I gave him a Sawk and didn’t give him a render. When I was writing notes about a possible Pokémon AU I wanted a Pokemon that would evolve alongside Zanka and Sawk can’t evolve, but Lucario can, and everyone says Zanka would have a Lucario. Sorry Sawk. But Sawk would still be on his team just not as his ace.

I put the 8 albums together before I added N.E.R.D., honestly instead of 3OH!3 I would put a nerd album with the others to represent the whole playlist

Some explanations:

• Sonic is associated with like skate punk? It doesn’t matter kinda sounds like that, that’s why NOFX and Bad Religion are there. Just feels right to me and how Sonic hates oppression

• The “na na na na na na” part of Leave it alone reminds me of this one part of Casino Nights zone

• Jamiroquai is here because the classic sonic music tends to be inspired by disco and funk music, I also threw in some songs that were the origins for some of the classic stage’s songs.

• ignoring what Go by blink-182 is about the “GO! GO! GO!” reminds me of Sonic so much 😭😭

• Now for Egg Man by the beastie boys, there’s NO way this song wasn’t the inspiration for Dr robotnik to be called egg man in the English localization like just listen…
