still from an experimental narrative I shot in the south of Italy in a small village of Guardia Sanframondi. This is Giulia, a magnificent and beautiful young local girl who collaborated with me in this project.

In this piece, we observe her body slowly becoming part of a cluttered landscape that slowly (metaphorically) begins to become the landscape itself as opposed to portraying a subject/background dialectic.

Everything is connected and sometimes, in certain contexts, a living soul can integrate itself into the space thus eliminating the separation of body and space.

This is teaser 1 of a series of “moving lookbook” that I directed over the past few months. The production has taken me and my team from Cambridge MA, NYC, and eventually Dubai. An experience indeed, and was quite fun. I hope more gigs like these are on its way.
