Well, I sleep in a TENT, so...
This strip came out a bit more condescending than it meant to be. Nevertheless, I think it’s worth noting that we often make assumptions about one another based on age, but I think the important thing to take away from that is that no age is easier than another. All we can do is try and meet each other somewhere in the middle.
Anyway, if you are like me and live in New England, we are perpetually getting snowed in this week. Over a foot of snow the other day, and we are getting another foot at this very moment.
If you are in the Western MA area, do check out the art exhibit I co-curated, it’s called “Direct Action Comics: Politically Engaged Graphic Novels” and it is at UMass Amherst’s Herter Gallery. Hours are M-F 11-4 and Sunday 1-4. There are over 100 pieces of original artwork including that of Will Eisner, Sophie Yanow, Ronald Wimberly, and much much more! It’s only up till February 22nd!

Never loose your focus / Your sense of direction / Is this too much to ask for?
I've been trying to focus on the positives in my life. The negatives weigh a lot more and are harder to phase out. I understand they will always be there, but learning not to dwell on them is the hardest and most important. I've been pushing myself physically and mentally and the little by little results I'm seeing is a motivator to keep moving.
Evening! Those who follow me here (though there may be few) may recall I took a hiatus from December till late January. I was actually working very hard on comics but of a different sort.
For past year, I’ve been co-curating an art exhibition at UMass Amherst for politically engaged graphic novels. We were even in the paper this week, check it out here. We have over 100 pieces of original artwork from very important comics!
Anyhow, It’s pretty rad and I can talk a lot more about it at another time; however, to continue with that theme, here is a strip I started on November 9th. I was struggling to find a way to finish in a response to the election from an education perspective. After witnessing the vigor and strength so many have displayed already, I figured out how I wanted to end it. I do hope you enjoy it.
