ESPECIALLY when incidents like this happen because now one of the big 3 fics is *allegedly* written by ai.
there’s nothing wrong with celebrating an author or enjoying a fic with other people. community is what keeps fandom alive! but we have to spread that enthusiasm, rather than concentrating it onto a select few works.
use the tag system. stop treating ao3 as an algorithm. give a chance to smaller fics and build community. fandom won't feel so dead when you do so!
