the other funny but telling thing about this wattpad fic is that the female oc invented to be ray's girl is 1. curtis' best friend and 2. a girl the same age as curtis, also in high school. so it's quite literally the same set-up as ray's dubious involvement with zac. and the same implications about ray that exist in canon remain entirely valid here too.

watching the spring-autumn period drama again, and once more there are beautiful episodes about a boy adopted and raised by the man who - unbeknownst to said boy - killed and wiped out his entire bloodline of 320 or so people + episode about another boy who watched his mother become trapped as a sexual plaything to (3) men since he was a young child, and grows up to slaughter them all to free his mother from sexual slavery.
