2010 me hated how every CGI character was so stiff and overly texture and wished animated movies were cartoony. Now it feels like every animated movie that’s not Disney looks really rubbery and smooth like an egg and tries to emulate 2D animation as much as possible in 3D space, which is all very technically impressive work but my brain finds it difficult to watch
