I love that you just write things and don't explain but let the work speak for itself (in story) and that you can cover 16 devastating things in 1500 words without ever explicitly spelling it out. Like...where does it come from? The scenes and emotions? I can't even put the ask into words because I'm still wrapping my head around how your writing makes me feel when it's presented in such a unique feeling way.

i don’t really have a set way of going about writing. i think so much of what i write has always just been a desperate romanticisation of banality. i get sad about the forks and spoons in my drawer sometimes and as silly as it sounds it is a debilitating sadness. melodramatic impossibility. the squeak in my door bothers me to no end but i still haven’t oiled the hinge; i am very cruel.
