Is Jay hurting Dickie in the rhododendron picture? (I've seen the full version too, so I know what's going on, I'm just curious about what the story is in the picture, because "darker path" could mean anything from both thinking their love is unrequited to Pollen-attacked or being forced at gun point to Jay downright breaking Dick's heart here.)

I’ll leave that up to you! I create many of my illustrations with the intention that people find their own meaning and significance in them. This time I wanted to specify that I went for a darker vibe (I love that shit sorry not sorry) thanks to the symbolism of the flower I used, but it could definitely fit into any of the scenarios you mentioned!
