im sorry for the people who rendered him, the va and the actors who did the motion capture and a whole bunch of other creatives that brought Valko to life, genuinely fucking sucks 😭😭😭 rip king you will be missed. imagine the hours spent on this, and suddenly your work gets banned and doesn't get any revenue, and oh you have to fear for your life too. absolutely nuts man

i hope infold gets a new management team and postpones Valko's release or just makes him exclusive for the global servers or whatever else, just not this.

The incredible voice acting of the whole cast is what makes Banana Fish SO AMAZING.

To put an AI dub over ANY media is horrible already, but to add it to a show like Banana Fish, an anime with so many emotional and impactful moments that require the actors to fully UNDERSTAND and analyze what their character is feeling,,, is extremely disrespectful and we need to call it out.

It's not only disrespectful to the creators and original voice actor's, it's also damaging to the people that would have been THRILLED to dub Banana Fish.

Please do not watch Banana Fish on Prime. There are plenty of other ways (🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️) you can watch this anime. And for the love of god DO NOT hate watch the AI Dub. If you're curious how it sounds, Bluesky and most likely Twitter have short clips (though for your own sake, protect your ears and don't listen to it).
