🩺 Medical Background In 2020, Rafat was diagnosed with soft tissue sarcoma (synovial sarcoma) in his leg. He underwent major surgery followed by radiation therapy, and for a while, we believed the worst was behind us.

❗ But today, we are facing the hardest truth: The cancer has returned. According to recent pathology and oncology reports, this is a confirmed local recurrence of synovial sarcoma in the same leg.

"This medical report, issued on January 27, 2025, confirms that the cancer has returned (Local Recurrence). Due to the collapse of the healthcare system in Gaza and the severe shortage of medical equipment and medications, we are in desperate need of support to provide Rafat with essential pain relief and to cover the costs of the re-irradiation treatment officially recommended in this report."
