My children’s suffering worsens day by day; they lack the most basic necessities of life, foremost among them a safe environment. The conditions inside the tent are deteriorating. It is damaged and unsafe, while insects, rodents, and snakes pose a serious threat to my children and their health. I collaborated with the Human Artistry Project to make this strip alongside other web cartoonists to make the point that “Stealing isn’t Innovation” when it comes to A.I. usage. It seems to be doing numbers on instagram and elsewhere, so you may also read it here, tumblr.

Death and shelling and casualties everywhere, and the mutilated bodies of children, and the evacuation and destruction of homes and the displacement of entire residential areas. Reconnaissance and combat aircraft and helicopters all the time, and targets in the streets and markets and the expansion of control zones.

Feelings of fear and anxiety.. and the terror of children returned quickly, after we had at least been in some kind of safety and calm, believing that all this had passed and ended.

All of this happens in silence, without announcement, without labels of "military operations" or "return of war," without statements.. and quietly.. without intervention or attempts or statements or pressures.

And thus we are left alone.. abandoned, being slaughtered, and the scene itself not even broadcast on screens because there are things more important.

Today was an incredibly difficult day. My health is getting worse with each passing day. The lack of nutritious food, my inability to afford the medication and vitamins I need, and the constant stress are taking a heavy toll on my body.

My children need me, and I am doing everything I can to stay strong for them. But I can't do this alone anymore.
