I'm playing Riven, played Myst recently. Never played them before but I know them by reputation, and I read one of the books once without knowing it was connected with a game. There's, a lot of weird stuff in these games but the puzzles are fun and I enjoy poin-and-click style exploration of big environments. It has showed up in my dreams a few times since I started. And there's a lot of weird feelings connected with the interaction mechanism that follows me around whenever I'm walking anywhere irl. I don't like when video games haunt me like that but this one isn't so bad.

Just throwing that out there. There's so much plausibly deniable-type rejection of transmisogyny as a concept but acceptance of it as a word, where it's used to mean "transphobia when it happens to transfems," not to mention the recurring insistence that it somehow affects everyone. Defining transmisogyny as cis supremacy + male supremacy won't likely stop any of that, but it does make it easy to clarify why it's a problem.
