Timkon Week 2022!

Alright Everyone, it took a hot minute to set up this year, but Timkon week 2022 is a go! Unlike last year, there won’t be voting on when the event week will happen, but to make up for that, once the week begins the ao3 collection will stay open for an additional few weeks, and here on Tumblr, so long your post is tagged with #TimkonWeek2022Submission , then it will still get reblogged here. That said!!!

Event Week: 9/4-9/10

During Prompt Submissions, everyone will be able to submit up to 7 prompts that they would like to see during TimKon week 2022. Prompt Voting will take place from April seventh until the twenty-first, and will involved public voting on the submitted prompts. This will also be via google poll, but the exact logistics of this will be figured out post prompt-submission, as it will be based on the number and types of prompts submitted. The Prompts will be announced by the first of may at the latest, but might come out sooner. Lastly, TimKon Week! TimKon week will take place from September fourth to September tenth, where an ao3 collection will be opened, and all tumblr posts appropriately tagged will be rebloged here. Within the next hour or so, the link to the Prompt Submission poll along with a general FAQ will be posted here. All in all, here’s to another good year! Summary: When they get body swapped during a mission, Tim and Kon’s friendship is tested as new revelations come to light.

Tim knew something was wrong from the moment he gained consciousness and that’s even before he’s opened his eyes. A quick body scan only confirms that feeling more so.

As he examines himself Tim notices how his body feels heavier than normal, and bigger too, it’s like his mass has unexpectedly grown overnight and now he feels disproportionate. Another thing that clues him in on the fact that something isn’t right is when he does finally open his eyes, he opens them to find himself looking at his body.

Lying on the ground next to him, still unconscious, is his body. He’s wearing his Robin suit, he’s battered, bloody and bruised but on the most part seems to be okay. Tim blinks and looks around and finds he’s currently inside an old musty warehouse. Other than his body and the one he’s in there’s no one else around.

So close, yet so far

Summary: Tim never realised how much he took for granted when it came to his relationship with Kon. It isn’t until the two of them are cursed that he notices how much he misses all of those little things they do. With the curse leaving both Tim and Kon frustrated they each try to get by until they come up with the solution that’ll break the curse so they can be properly together again.

A constant prodding by something small is what causes him to rouse back into consciousness. Not wanting to get up yet Tim grumbles and bats away the thing persistently poking him, when the poking finally ceases he lets out a sigh and settles back down so he could fall back to sleep. Unfortunately his relief is short lived because the prodding comes back and this time it’s in full force, while it wasn’t hurting him in any way it just happened to be more annoying than anything else.

A low growl and sharp teeth nipping his ear is what finally causes him to wake fully. Groaning Tim forces his eyes open and moans when he’s blinded by bright sunlight, he instantly covers his eyes with a hand and this time slowly opens his eyes to adjust to the light.

Here’s some general FAQs What kind of prompts are allowed? Anything you want! Mod is an adult, terminally online, and will be the person sorting through prompts to create the eventual voting poll, so if you can think it, you can submit it. That said, Timkon is a popular ship in this fandom amongst all age groups, so while suggestive-but-could-be-innocent prompts will more than likely be put into the voting, outright explicit ones will not. But again! if you’re not sure, feel free to submit! All prompts are getting combed through before the voting is opened up. And if your question is more about angst than Rating, feel free to submit angsty prompts to your hearts content. Can I submit more than 7 prompts? Technically, if you want, there is nothing stopping you. Just be aware that if your response contains a huge list of prompts, I’m probably stopping at seven. If your prompts are all hyper-specific variations on one trope, they’ll likely just get roped under the spectrum of the trope. Why do I need to give an email? Plain and simple? To prevent spam. Basically, if someone is spamming the poll, it’s a tool to help avoid their responses. For anyone uncomfortable with that, I do completely understand, and I strongly recommend you use a psued email. For example, it can be your ao3 handle, but maybe don’t make it your snapchat handle. if your ao3 is linked to a card with your personal twitter on it, maybe don’t use your ao3 handle, ect.
