I've been watching Daemons of the Shadow Realm/Yomi no Tsugai as it comes out. It's a fantasy/supernatural anime focusing on a pair of teenage twins who have the potential to gain incredible powers. The manga it's based on is written by the person who wrote Fullmetal Alchemist. It's highly focused on just about every kind of relationship except romantic/sexual ones, which means it's like catnip to me personally. I'm enjoying it very much.

For his part, Vash thinks he might be hallucinating.  Nicholas D. Wolfwood claws his way out of the thick river onto the bank, gasping for breath, covered in mud from head to toe.  Instinctive relief washes over Vash—it had not been a child in trouble—but his higher cognitive functions have all otherwise fled.

She spares him a sidelong look, not buying his awkward chuckle for a second. “Well, I meant that you have a church here, so there used to be some sort of faith here. I don’t know if there are any other churches around, or what other funerals or like, or anything else. I was just making a comment since I felt it kind of pitiful to be buried like this. So now, then—what did you mean, Vash?”

Also, I cannot express enough my gratitude to you for feeding the Alphonse fans! Ed whump is everywhere, but seeing Al get hurt is a rare gem in the fma whump community
