In terms of my stance on tracing photography, please refer to my blog that addresses a similar question.

In terms of profit and being "aggressive over nothing", what I will disclose is that the artist has traced on commissions before.

I will admit that I am a former friend of the artist and knew her for 2+ years. I too, was unaware of how severe her habit of tracing was until after she cut contact. My reason for bringing this up is to explain that I have 20+ drawings that this artist has drawn that I know is traced. About 75% of them having been traced off of other artist's artwork. All were posted by the artist publicly(not on tumblr which is why I'm not releasing them) with no credits to the original artists.

I am being aggressive because the artist:

1) Is old enough to know tracing/heavily referencing other people's art with zero credits is bad.

2) Has traced commissions.

3) Has been doing this for years.
