Tim relaxes back on the couch, leaving the remote control sitting on thr coffee table before them. The screen is loading, Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan waiting for them. Conner is dressed in a pair of soft pants and an oversized t-shirt on the cushion across from Tim. All in all, it's a very normal afternoon with Robin and Superboy.

Kryptonians couldn’t hear the heartbeats of other Kryptonians— with the exception of their soulmate’s; or so the story goes, according to the records that the late Jor-El had inserted into the unbeating Heart of Clark’s ship.

It’s a cosmic joke in its truest form then that all human heartbeats are deafening to Kryptonians and Half-Kryptonians alike, rendering the pursuit of their soulmate a near impossible feat; and that their two human soulmates — who can hear their heartbeats and theirs alone — just so happen to belong to a rare species of human whose compulsion to harbour secrets is without rival.

TimKon Week 2022; Day 7: Soulmates @allthatsentimentalcandyfloss listened to me ramble about a TimKon Soulmate idea I had from forever ago... AND THEN SHE WORKED SO HARD TO ACTUALLY WRITE IT 😭😭😭😭😭😭 PLEASE TAKE A LOOK!!! The idea was for Kryptonian Soulmates to find each other from hearing their heartbeats... But on Earth, they can hear everyone’s heartbeats, so how would they ever find their soulmate now? ;w; And also Bats are the worst at opening up LMAO I drew this little doodle (with my bi flower crown agenda lol) and Elle was so sweet about it and encouraged me to post it, so here is my submission for @timkonweek Day 7!
