Me and the herd have some exciting news...... Unikid has been selected to premiere at Animation is Film Festival in Hollywood! Woah!!!

Thanks to all of the love, passion, and dedication put into the film from our lovely and talented team of artists, the film is going to be premiering at Animation is Film on October 19th at 5:30pm at the TLC Chinese Theater in Hollywood! This is amazing opportunity for us and we would love it if people came by to watch it along with a whole lot of student short films that got selected! Hey everyone! As you may or may not know, my day job is in drinking water infrastructure regulation. As such, I'm pretty passionate about the human right to have safe water to drink. This is something that the people of Gaza don't have access to right now; the Life for Gaza project is dedicated to helping to rebuild drinking water infrastructure as well as wastewater management.

As such, I've teamed up with @bastiantj, @outeremissary, and @mountainashfae to run a donation drive event! DM me, @eurekq, proof of at least a $20 dollar donation to this fundraiser to receive a colored bust sketch from one of us. Make sure to include either a drawn reference or detailed text description, along with a general pose and expression idea. A donation of at least $40 will get you a greyscale waist-up sketch of two characters of your choosing; for these, make sure to give me a photo reference of the exact pose you'd like along with references, either visual or in detailed text, for both characters.

This campaign is still active, and I presume it will run until its goal is met! I know that we've been running this for almost half a year now, so you may have thought the fundraiser was over, but we are still absolutely open to taking commissions!

Life for Gaza's campaign is 97% to its completion goal, with around $32,000 remaining. While that might seem like a lot, this fundraiser alone generated around 500 dollars, most of which was in the first month that it was active, and I hope it raised additional awareness that this fund even existed.

Water infrastructure is no joke; there's a good reason that access to clean drinking water is recognized by the UN as a human right. And take it from someone who works in drinking water regulation: it takes incredible effort, time, and money to sustain that access.
