Theres so many things that I need and want to say - but living on my own for the past 4 month has been beyond any challenge I’ve ever faced. There’s no one here to simply ask how your day has been, why its been shit and how to make it better. The simple gestures of a touch, a hug or a kiss have become so important. My mind has become a constant conversation with myself. But out of all of this, I have found a beauty within myself and above all things I now have a true understanding of who I am as a person. I know myself like the back of my hand and all the choices that I’m making are mine on my own and its so liberating. I’ve learnt to love myself, my quirks, my downfalls and all mess in between.

I truly believe this is something that everyone should be able to say. Every human on this earth should be able to spend time with themselves, to question every cell of their being and as a result love themselves through and through. Forget any idea that loving yourself is self obsessive, that taking photos of yourself because you feel beautiful is bad, or showing your skin because you want to isn’t ‘classy’. The way you perceive yourself should not be a result of the way others perceive you.
