Next TFC PC on my docket, Aerial~!

She's a silk aerial acrobat! I'm really happy with how she came out design-wise.

And a small confession.

For some reason...I don't really Simp for Doctor, even though he checks all of my personal check boxes, I just don't feel anything aside from familial.

I see him as a big brother.

So I have Aerial sort of reflect those feelings.

Her general story is that she was recruited and used to be mainly a stagehand. She didn't have an act, mainly because one of her legs had been previously broken and healed incorrectly. But she wanted an act and did a lot of physical therapy with Doctor and had her role as the Aerial Dancer

She also, unfortunately, has a very big crush on Pierrot.

I would imagine in-game, she'd be way more involved in Harlequin's route, doing everything possible to sway MC away from Pierrot so she can have him.

Work in progress of my TFC OC, Ringleader

Desperatley wanted to sit down and draw something else than the DCA-based characters I been binging on recently, so I did one of my Freak Circus Characters from that sketch I posted some time ago.

This is Ringmaster. The "Official" head of the circus, or, "The Face". He doesn't run the circus, but he makes everyone believe he is. It's not a control thing. He's just the most approachable one out of them all.

He's around Ticket Taker's age, so he's older than the others.

With this, he sees Pierrot, Harlequin, and Jester as his sons, Pierrot especially. He's very nice, soft-spoken, and charming.

It was a hassle trying to figure out his colors and going from the stark PINK pink on the sketch sheet cause, when I applied it to his design...it just looked bad. I also changed the mask markings on the mouth cause they.

Had a lot of TFC OC ideas in my head and wanted to get their rough ideas out

Finally finished a spur of the moment drawing. Been doing a lot of DCA model like characters and wanted to step out a little more with another hyper fixation

…I am struggling…

I’m getting somewhere, but like…I don’t like it.

I can’t really look at references of moths cause I get this weird feeling of fear when looking at close ups of insects (Shamura thank fuck their initial design satisfied me enough to not need references)

So, I got back into Cult of the Lamb and I was reminded of an OC I wanted to make. I still need to draw her, but I'll tell you about her cause I love her so much.

Her name is Sakaye, and she's a Silk Moth.

She's the Wife of Shamura, very regal, and sort of embodies one of my favorite tropes, War finding love.

She actually didn't even try to win Shamura's affection. I had the idea that, before The Betrayal, she was just the daughter of one of their generals and just...talk with them. She makes tea for them unprompted, weaves silk for small gifts, she even probably helped some of Shamura's healers as she quietly studies alchemy and medicine.

It was a quiet courtship and they naturally just clicked.

After The Betrayal, she does her best to tend to Shamura's injuries, but her father (who cares more about Shamura than her), thought she was a distraction and a hindrance and probably had her taken to a different temple further north in Silk Cradle. He told everyone else that it was for "her safety" and she probably is still there.

The relationship is VERY Odysseus/Penelope and Hades/Persephone coded honestly, especially with songs from EPIC and Stories from the Styx like "Would you fall in love with me again", "My Persephone", and "The Challenge".

Got back into Cult of the Lamb and remembered my favorite Bishop!!

I just now noticed something with Jester and Columbina while looking at fanart, and I have a personal theory/headcanon unless proven otherwise.

Personally, I think Jester and Columbina are related in some way shape or form. Either they're SIBLINGS or at least come from the same family.

My proof? They have the same set of smaller white horns.
