Getting over a cold, but today is the most reactive day so far. I've been awake less than an hour and sneezed 10 times already.

It's a strange one. There is me and my two roommates. One I recently got out of a 13 year relationship with and housing prices here are ridiculous and we're grandfathered into a really cheap price for a 3 bedroom apartment with parking and laundry, so... roommates now.

Ex (now roommate) is sick. I'm not prepared to navigate this new awkward stoic-ass mask that instantly slid into place when he spoke to me today (after not saying anything for about a week and a half) and my instant reaction was " you sound fucking awful" to which he replied miserably and congested af with a " ...ya... I know". pretty sure my brain went into auto-pilot and I went and did the dishes. What layer of hell is this? am I near the end or like... is there at least a sitting area for me to catch my breath before the next ring?
