A Wings of Fire Poem Inspired by Edgar Allan Poe's The Raven
Once upon Three Full Moons: A Brightest Night,
A NightWing hatched with telepathy and foresight.
Bearing the blood of the wings of Night and Ice;
Inheriting Animus Magic, not so precise.
And what should I’ve seen when I heard that roar?
A NightWing named Darkstalker! A name set to soar.
Charming and courageous, yet demonic with sound,
As with a name called Darkstalker, he was not unbound.
As a powerful creature to Pyrrhian lands,
From Kingdom of the Sea to Kingdom of Sand,
What should be remembered by a Pyrrhian roar?
Darkstalker! Darkstalker! Forevermore.
As the son of NightWing Foeslayer, with hope and love,
Darkstalker protected her with the moon above.
A tense ship with Arctic, IceWing father,
Darkstalker thought he was a gruesome bother.
And yet what should I hear forevermore?
Darkstalker’s name with a Pyrrhian roar.
A NightWing born with the power of Animus Magic,
Later working with a SeaWing from the Pyrrhian pelagics,
Darkstalker’s teacher, being of SeaWing blood,
Fathom was his name, fierce as a fearsome flood.
But what were Fathom and Indigo hearing more and more?
Darkstalker! A name in their minds forevermore.
With his only sister, the beautiful IceWing Whiteout,
Darkstalker protected her in and out.
She was his only sibling, one he ever loved,
Darkstalker looked at her with the moon above.
Whiteout heard his name with a fearsome roar:
Darkstalker! Darkstalker! Forevermore.
A powerful NightWing dragon, one looked upon with fear,
He’s not one dragon with a mind so dear.
Dragons like Fathom and Indigo know him well,
Even dragons in the present have stories to tell.
And what is heard for two-thousand years more?
The name of Darkstalker! Forevermore.
The present arrives, Jade Mountain stands high,
As a school for dragons of the seven Pyrrhian tribes.
Sleeping for the past two-thousand years,
Darkstalker is alive; his name we still hear.
With Daughter of Secretkeeper, Moonwatcher roars,
Darkstalker, Darkstalker…a name that will roar.
As Moonwatcher’s stalker through her NightWing mind,
Darkstalker is seeking something that he shall find.
Stalking Moon after awakening from sleep,
After two-thousand years, his powers are still deep.
But what will be the name that Moonwatcher roars?
Darkstalker! As he’s yet to telepathically learn more.
Waking up from slumber two-thousand years later,
After War of SandWing Succession and the fearsome Dragonslayer,
Under Agate Mountain, a quiet composure was he,
Communicating with Moonwatcher telepathically.
In Present Day Pyrrhia, what should be roared?
Darkstalker, Darkstalker, forevermore.
What could have been going in the open lands,
With Darkstalker and Moon, and Qibli of Sand?
With Qibli in love, Moon was her mate,
Qibli thought she would meet a greater fate.
That name then came to Qibli’s roar:
Darkstalker! A name that’s heard forevermore.
Seeing IceWing Winter as a threat, despite not to hurt,
But Winter saw him as a threatening burst.
As a plague struck the entire IceWing tribe,
Darkstalker hoped that the IceWings would not bribe.
But what should come to one’s mind much more?
Darkstalker’s name, hearing a demonic roar.
The tense between wings of Ice and Night was tense,
Caused by Arctic and Foeslayer’s sense.
With Queen Diamond furious, one would know,
That relations of Ice and Night shall not grow.
With one note, what is heard more?
Darkstalker, forevermore.
Fierce like running red blood, and the stalker of dreams,
Darkstalker is the one that will forever scream.
With a demonic mind and a furious vengeance,
Darkstalker would one day seek out avengeance.
But what should come to one dragon’s mind that roars?
Darkstalker, Darkstalker! Forevermore.
A dragon once determined: one with passion,
He never sought out some of his rations.
As a powerful NightWing of Pyrrhian dragonkind,
Darkstalker’s something that history will find.
But what will forever roar and soar?
The name of Darkstalker: Roaring more.

Darkstalker's name is something that forever lasts.
Of Brightest Night and intense Animus Magic,
Darkstalker’s tale is one told tragic.
