Discovering the unholy sounds you are capable of making is such a weird tic experience. What do you mean I can make a horrible high pitched pterodactyl yapping sound
Reblog this picture of me holding a Family Size box of Honey Nut Cheerios? Iād really appreciate it.
How can I say no to such a great photo and such a polite request?
i will always support this post
@mooserattler back on my dash!
Why isnāt this at a million notes, yet, Dante???
Iām not sure. Hey lovely people who have taken me over half way to a cool million! If youād like to reblog again, Iād love that, if not, I still love you, and hope youāre having a great day. Iām gonna go do some stand up tonight.
god come on weāre so close. this is like the only meaningful thing that this website could ever achieve
@hellsite-hall-of-fame this post is from 2015
And weāre still reblogging it. Because we can. Because this picture of a guy holding a Family-Size box of Honey Nut Cheerios meant something, even if weāre never going to be sure of what.
in mesopotamia there were no 'cover letters' or 'curriculum vitaes'. there were just, pots.
And copper ingots. Very high quality ingots from a very reputable merchant
#tumblr's dedication to dragging ea-nasir from across history is one of my fave things about this hellsite
#somewhere in the afterlifeĀ #ea-nasir is gaining powerĀ #and he has no idea why
Yāknow, thatās a really good point. Are we sure we want to be giving the worst businessman in known history more power in the afterlife?!
Yes, because when Trump dies and thinks heās going to be king shit in the afterlife, ea-nasir is going to one-shot him with a shitty copper ingot upside his empty orange fucking head
Each Reblog adds another copper ingot to ea-nasir's afterlife pile. Each like improves his aim.

unspinnable cube
lets see you rotate this in your mind, asshole.
Another post you can hear
Something really cool happened yesterday
So my Nan has a dog, sheās the cutest thing ever, her name is Luna.
She was climbing all over me, sniffing me, licking my face etc. specifically sniffing where my sensor was, which sheās never done before. Once we managed to get her off me, my sensor actually alarmed that my blood sugars were low
So my nans dog actually detected my blood sugars were low before my sensor went off
She also came and checked me after she got back from my walk, and was satisfied I was better
Hello there I forgot I had this account but Iām BACK
Iāve started writing fanfiction in the last week or so, and now Iām writing a fic about a character having tics like mine because I feel like thereās not enough fanfiction of characters with a tic disorder.
And weāll, they say write fanfiction for yourself so letās do this
Ughhh I found out something that my store manager said to my line manager about my tic disorder and itās actually pissed me off so badly and Iām not sure how Iām going actually around the store manager now
Background to all of this: two years ago on Easter Sunday I had a really bad tic attack. Like, REALLY bad. Iām talking eye rolling tics so bad I was basically blind for 45 minutes and it was the first attack I cried in frustration over. So now I have quite bad anxiety around Easter and that affects my tics as well
So I made a plan with my line manager that I wouldnāt do long periods of time on the till, because that makes my tics WORSE. But no. My store manager decided to override that and try and put me on the till for the day.
I actually stood up for myself and told him that no, I will not be doing that.
And this motherfucker!! He then went to my line manager later and said he feels like I was āputting it onā with my tics and that I āwanted to be lazyā !!!
I already knew I had a target on my back because Iām disabled. Didnāt expect the ableism to show that badly though. This man had the AUDACITY to say that to someone whoās had to physically hold me up to walk because I couldnāt actually stand properly due my tics. The audacity. And I work for a company that supposedly prides itself on being diverse.
Type one diabetes am I right?

I have synesthesia and once we figured that out it made things make so much more sense.
I used to describe my pain by describing the āpitchā -so a stinging pain is really high pitched, but an achy, dull sort of pain is really low pitched - and it always confused my parents.
Then we realised that I can hear my pain. Which is why I would describe it as pitches.
Add on the fact everyone has a colour and when I think and interact with them all I can think of is that they are that colour. My two best friends are yellow and blue, while my sister and brother are pink and blue. My mother is blue, and my father is red.
Its an interesting thing, to think other people donāt experience the world like I do
So I have a freestyle Libre 2 right? And theyāre doing updates that gives us continuous monitoring now.
However I just updated and now my sensor wonāt scan.
Iām going to an event tomorrow
I need to use my sensor. I donāt want to lug around my entire kit.
I am frustrated but I understand Abbott is doing their best considering all the bugs they have with this new update
Oh about this issue, it was my phone.
My phone just gave up with contactless and wouldnāt do anything that required it
Got a new phone and everythingās back up and working again
Hello wow Iām back to complain a little bit about how I had two different people today tell me āyouāre not disabledā
Interesting take when by UK law, I am classed as disabled. I have a chronic illness. Actually I have TWO chronic illnesses. Plus my tic disorder. Which Iāve had for,, 4 1/2 years.
So yes I am disabled and it took me 2 years to even use that word. Now I am proud of using it. I have HIDDEN disabilities. That doesnāt mean Iām not disabled.
The fact that two people who I know and are my friends told me āyouāre not disabled, youāre just uniqueā made me feel a bit off today. Being disabled isnāt necessarily a bad thing. Sometimes itās just life. Telling me Iām not disabled wonāt change the fact that I AM
One thing I think non-Tourettic people don't/won't understand is the genuine terror that comes with being Tourettic/having Tourette's.
Like, yes, it's a neurological condition so we can't control it but people don't care about that. There's a genuine fear that I experience - and I know other Tourettic people do too - where what if we tic the wrong thing around the wrong person and they lash out.
Especially for my friends with Corprolalia (tics that are socially unacceptable - stuff like swearing, slurs, but also stuff like ticcing and calling someone fat, or ugly) where they have more of a risk of saying, say, the n-slur around someone who really doesn't like when people say that, and they react to that violently.
We have a risk of getting seriously hurt just because we have a neurological disorder that causes us to spout words we can't control.
It fucking sucks and Tourette's isn't this cute, fun disorder where we can "say whatever". There are real-world consequences for tics.
I have a flipping off tic and when im driving this can be extremely scary especially since I've been a victim of road rage violence before.
I have many different coprolalia related tics and worry I'll lose my job
I have screaming tics that make me worry I will get noise complaints and lose housing
Tourettes is so much more than having some twitches and it's so much more than "cute" tics. Those of us with coprolalia may make up only 15% but our experiences with it are valid and we are more than just a stereotype.
Today I am ābarking madā
Already made several people ask where the dog is - there is no dog, it is just me!

Ok I must know
Do you have/have you ever had the ābeansā tic
Yes and itās a frequent tic
Yes, but only occasionally
Yes, I used to have it but I donāt anymore
No, I never had a ābeansā tic
I donāt have tics (see results)
Please reblog! :)
I was going to make a post about how if my tics learnt how to open car windows it would all be over for me but then my tics threw my phone under the car seat so I guess not
