back by a popular demand! the day i posted part 1 people were asking for more. but these do take time so apologies for the wait ;) i appreciate the praise, brielle! youâve been here since day one and you are incredible for that - so thank you! i have written about 25 randomly selected asteroids from my âinteresting asteroidsâ list on my phone that are NOT mythology related and thus have never been mentioned and likely will never be mentioned again. this post is very different and long. if you have no interest in the history, look for bolded statements to avoid all the reading lol.

annefrank (asteroid 5535)
Anne Frank is famously regarded as the Jewish girl who kept a diary documenting her life whilst hiding from Nazis during World War II. Frank documented her entire day to day life in the Amsterdam attic during the German occupation. She is thought to be one of the greatest diarist in history. IN MY OPINION Annefrank in your chart can represent a) how and where your life is hidden and/or restricted, b) where you are prosecuted for your beliefs and lineage, and/or c) how and where you may benefit from writing down your daily life.
aristoteles (asteroid 6123)
Aristotle was a Classical Antiquity Greek Philosopher who wrote on many profound subjects: physical science, logic, ethics, the arts, economics, and politics. Aristotle taught many famous kings such as Alexander, Cassander, and Ptolemy. His findings in formal logic are the reason we are where we are today from the development of the chick in an egg, to the relationships we have with one another, the soul existing in the body, to virtues. IN MY OPINION Aristoteles in your chart can represent a) where you experience profound thoughts, b) your use of logic, and/or c) the kind of people who are interested in learning more from you.
armstrong (asteroid 6469)
Niel Armstrong was the first American astronaut to walk on the moon in 1969. Prior to his life as an astronaut he was part of the U.S. Navy who paid for him the to get his degree in aeronautical engineering at Purdue University. He was part of the first test flight for high-speed flight ran by the National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics. Ultimately, these critical moments helped prepare Armstrong for the Apollo 11 flight with Michael Collins and Buzz Aldrin. IN MY OPINION Armstrong in your chart can represent a) where you are the first to experience the most ground breaking events, b) where your physical efforts are rewarded with monetary and mental gains, and/or c) where you are regarded as the best in the field.

Most everyone on the app preaches âchildâ to be about children, but the asteroid is actually named after the astronomer Jack B. Child. Child discovered thirteen asteroids in 90s including this one which he dubbed his namesake. IN MY OPINION Child in a chart can represent a) where you are on a roll, b) where you interests lie in terms of asteroids, and/or c) where you create a namesake. This asteroid was asked for by @dddssd !
dali (asteroid 2919)
Salvatore Dali was Spanish artist whoâs movement was surrealism. Dali created many renowned yet odd paintings that still intrigue people today. Some of his most well known works are The Persistence of Memory and The Elephants. What many people may not realize is that Dali is ever present in pop culture today: Midnight in Paris or even Money Heist - that is his face on the robbery masks. Also interesting, Dali has both this asteroid and a crater on Mercury named after him. IN MY OPINION Dali in a chart can represent a) where life seems surreal, b) where you intrigue other with your differences compared to the masses, c) where you resonate with pop culture, and/or d) where you are highly memorialized.
debussy (asteroid 4492)
Claude Debussy was the first impressionist composer. Impressionism focuses on mood and emotion meant to arouse imagery from the listener. He is considered one of the most influential composers to exist. Miraculously, Debussy was not born into a family of cultural involvement or great means - he was simply gifted - he was not made, he was born that skilled. Despite that, he influenced many other composers and many listeners - I donât know a single person who does that recognize Clair de Lune l.32. IN MY OPINION Debussy in a chart can represent a) natural musical talent or where you are naturally gifted, b) where you start a movement, and/or c) where you can influence people with you emotions.
fan (asteroid 151590)
Xiaohui Fan is named after the Chinese-American astronomer who studies quasars. Quasars are more commonly referred to and thought of as supermassive black holes. Particularly, he studies the heating of these black holes which causes electromagnetic radiation - rating the amount of emitted light in order to measure the threat level. IN MY OPINION Fan in your chart can represent a) where your studying gets you a lot of attention, b) where you could see threats before it is too late, and/or c) where you know of things that are greater than you. fay (asteroid 4820)
Fay Gillis Wells was an aviator, journalist, and broadcaster. She is the first woman pilot to jump out of an airplane using a parachute to save her life. She also helped to found the 99s which helped to allow women to receive a pilotâs license. As a journalist she covered the correspondence of the Soviet Union during the war times of 1930s. IN MY OPINION Fay in your chart represent a) flying/travel, b) where you are a risk-taker/life-saver, c) where you advocate for women in a male-dominant field, and/or d) where you write and receive information rather factually. This asteroid was asked for by @coffeebeanscrushedinicecocaine !
hehe (asteroid 200002)
Hehe is a traditional Chinese symbol that represents harmony among loved ones - this could be among married people, family, etc. IN MY OPINION Hehe in your chart could represent a) where you can find harmony in your life, b) harmony/disharmony between your loved ones and you, and/or c) how you experience harmony and can better achieve it between you and your people.
hilaritas (asteroid 996)
Hilaritas is named for the astronomer Johann Palisa, who was a prolific discoverer of asteroid (122 in total - including our beloved kleopatra (ast 216)). This asteroid isnât about Palisa and his achievements but rather his level contentedness at the end of his life. IN MY OPINION Hilaritas in your chart could represent a) the level contentedness in you life and/or b) how you can best feel at peace and fullfilled in life. This asteroid was asked for by @eggsnasty !
jubilatrix (asteroid 652)
This asteroid was discovered in lieu of a 60 year jubilee sponsored by the Austrian Emperor Franz Joseph. Emperor Franz Joseph ruled peacefully his whole reign despite experiencing the execution of his brother, the suicide of his son, the assassination of his wife and nephew, the Revolution of 1848, and World War I. IN MY OPINION Jubilatrix in your chart can represent a) where you make light of life when all seems dark and set against you, b) where you experience a lot of pain and suffering yet you remain kind and persevere, and/or c) how you can best cheer yourself and others up when times are hard. This asteroid was asked for by @eggsnasty !
karma (asteroid 3811)
Karma is consider a Hindu philosophy in which your actions influence your future. Good intentions and deeds lead to good karma - while bad intentions and deeds lead to bad karma. Within many Indian and Asian religions karma affects a personâs future life(s) and the quality of it (or them). IN MY OPINION Karma in your chart can represent a) where you experience opportunities that can change your future, b) where karma affects your life in both good and bad ways, and/or c) where you should pay it forward to others to gain a maximum benefits.
ovidius (asteroid 2800)
Ovid was a Roman poet - he is thought to be one of the most important poets of the Classical Antiquity Era. It was only in the Middle Ages and the Renaissance that his works became popular and widely known though. His writing inspired many popular writers and poets like Shakespeare, Chaucer, de Cervantes, etc. Sadly, Emperor Augustus banished him to remote isle of the Black Sea where he spent the later part of his life alone. IN MY OPINION Ovidius in your chart can represent a) your love of poetry/mythology, b) where you inspire others with your work, and/or c) where you find yourself isolated from others.

Philosophy in Greek means the love of wisdom. Philosophy is often used to study fundamental ideas surrounding knowledge, reality, existence, etc. IN MY OPINION Philosophia in you chart can represent a) your enjoyment of philosophy, b) how deeply you think about the world around you, and/or c) your level of wisdom.
plato (asteroid 5451)
Plato was a Greek philosopher during the Classical Antiquity Era. Plato created the first school system for higher learning on the European continent. Platoâs work surrounded metaphysics (theory of reality), Forms (theory of ideas - what is a soul? is our soul us?), epistemology (knowledge v. opinion), politics, ethic, art, etc. Much of what we think (or have set opinions) about today was debated by Plato and his students back then. IN MY OPINION Plato in your chart represents a) where you may find a group or person who challenges the way you think, b) how you think about things - what you tend to think about and debate the most, and/or c) whether youâd agree with his philosophies.

pythagorus (asteroid 6143)
Pythagoras was a Greek philosopher during the Classical Antiquity Era. His work has heavily influenced other philosophers and much of everything around us. Many of us probably know of Pythagorean theorem - which is his mathematical method to find the side lengths of a triangle. His discoveries in music led us to the invention of a piano and in astronomy led us to discovering the morning and evening star. IN MY OPINION Pythagoras in your chart can represent a) your algebraic aptitude, b) where you influence everyone and everything around you with your curiosity, and/or c) whether youâd agree with his philosophies.
qwerty (asteroid 6600)
QWERTY keyboards are standard Roman-alphabet boards in which the first six letters of the first row spell its name, Q-W-E-R-T-Y. IN MY OPINION Qwerty in your chart can represent a) the kind of topics you enjoy writing about, b) your typing speed, and/or c) your ability to write something well.
sherlock (asteroid 5049)
Sherlock Holmes is a fictional consulting detective in a series written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Holmes is notably skilled in the art of forensic science given his talent of logistical reasoning via deduction and observation. His character is widely known and adapted in media today. IN MY OPINION Sherlock in your chart can represent a) where you have strong reasoning skills, b) where you make incredible observations, and/or c) where you see the truth of situations.
shigemi (asteroid 7597)
Shigemi Uchida is lead member/organizer of Japanâs branch of the International Dark Sky Association. This organization is fighting the pollution crisis occurring on our planet - light pollution causes us to see false light in sky and makes it difficult to see the true night sky. By doing this work to combat pollution, Shigemi (and many others are) is ensuring that we and future generations can see the moon and the stars in the night sky. IN MY OPINION Shigemi in your chart can represent a) how you choose to combat climate change, b) what you do to help the planet, and/or c) why you want to help the planet. shigeru (asteroid 6707)
Shigeru Nakano was an inventive doctor within the OBGYN field of medicine. She was one of the scientists who helped to create the ultrasound technology used today. She also studied forensic medicine; which aided her in helping women get better care. IN MY OPINION Shigeru in your chart can represent a) your reproductive health, b) how you help and care for women, and/or c) the invention you create that changes the whole field.
shinsengumi (asteroid 5815)
In 1800s Japan, the government organized a special force of samurai called the Shinsengumi (âNew Select Brigadeâ). These samurai were tasked with protecting the representatives of the dictatorship in Kyoto at the time. The Shinsengumi were selected from the Edo sword school and were the most skilled of the class. Shinsengumi gained partial notoriety during the Ikedaya incident, which was incited by political and civil unrest. IN MY OPINION Shinsengumi in your chart can represent a) your skill with a blade, b) where you guard others, and/or c) where you keep peace or eliminate those who are particularly unmanageable.
silentium (asteroid 5710)
Silentium is the Latin word for silence. Silence is defined as the utter absence of noise or the prohibition of speaking. IN MY OPINION Silentium in your chart can represent a) where you donât really have a lot of thoughts or expression, b) where you find yourself the most repressed, and/or c) your relationship with noise and lack thereof.
somnium (asteroid 3258)
Kepler's Somnium is a Latin novel written in the grey area (1608) between the Middle Ages and Enlightenment Era (I am definitely going to bug my professors about it because the one would eat this shit up lol). The narrative follows a boy and his mother (who happens to be a witch). The two learn of a place called Levania from a demon. They then speculate what the Earth would look like from the Moon (aka Levania). This is perhaps the first science fiction novel ever published (which is crazy because scientific empiricism and journalism really only picks up in the 1650s). This is likely the first written scientific inquiry of lunar astronomy. IN MY OPINION Somnium in your chart can represent a) enjoyment or talent in writing science fiction, b) where you are naturally curious about space, and/or c) your connection to the moon. voltaire (asteroid 5676)
Voltaire was a French Enlightenment writer and philosopher who was well known for his wit and criticism of religion. He was a strong advocate of freedom and the separation of church and state. IN MY OPINION Voltaire in your chart can represent a) where you are skeptical of the system, b) where you appear pleasant despite being critical, and/or c) the topic on which you can become a prolific writer in or thinker of.
whiterabbit (asteroid 17942)
The White Rabbit is the first wondrous creature from Wonderland in which Alice sees. In Alice in Wonderland, the White Rabbit is depicted as a formally dressed rabbit who lives in a house but is constantly running late to his appointments. The White Rabbit first appears when running between realms. Curious of this being, Alice follows him down the rabbit hole and into Wonderland. IN MY OPINION Whiterabbit in your chart can represent a) where you appear formal, b) where you are constantly late or anxious, c) where you pique othersâ curiosity, and/or d) where you should follow a sign to discover an extraordinary place/opportunity or your destiny.

History of Narcissus
Narcissus is a male figure from Greek mythology. He was the son of the river god, Cephissus and the nymph Liriope. He was a very beautiful young man and many fell in love with him, but he always rejected them and showed disdain, as he grew a sense of pride in his looks.His mother was once warned by a seer Teiresias that her son would live a long life as long as 'he never knows himself'.
One day, an Oread nymph named Echo fell in love with Narcissus but he showed disdain towards her and rejected her. Echo, then spend her life roaming in the woods for the rest of her life. At seeing this, Nemesis, the goddess of retribution and revenge, came to know about the whole event and decided to punish Narcissus. She led him to a pool and there, he saw his own reflection in the pool and fell in love with it. Unable to draw himself away from the pool, he died out of thirst and starvation.

Justification for my interpretation:Â
Envy is a prominent feature of Psycheâs story. Envy is wanting what someone else has, to the point where they may go to great lengthâs to sabotage the person that they envy. Aphrodite envies Psycheâs beauty and Psycheâs sisters envy her opulence. Aphrodite tries to take Psyche as her slave when she finds out that Eros fell in love with her, and her sisters try to instill doubt in Psyche about her husband. So wherever Psyche is in in your birth chart is where you will attract your rivals.
Psycheâs story also represents personas (the mask that we present to our external world, which typically does not represent who we are internally; we may even be empty inside). All the opulence that she lives in contrasts with the emptiness and loneliness that she feels, that without Eros, sheâd likely have no one to be herself with. This story shows that we need to learn to trust ourselves and to find our inner strength. We need to integrate with our animus.
Psyche believes that to win back Eros love, she needs to become more beautiful, so she opens a box of Persephoneâs beauty but this kills her. This shows that though we may be very beautiful on the outside, true beauty is believing it ourselves. Self-love is unconditional, however, and thatâs why when she dies she is reunited with Eros (the God of love). No matter how dismal your self-belief, no other type of love triumphs that of the love that accepts and redeems imperfection and temptation.
If Psyche aspects your ascendant or is in your first house, you may feel ugly on the inside, not being able to acknowledge your outer beauty, thinking that outer beauty will attract love, etc. You need to build self-confidence in your inner beauty. You are probably quite beautiful with this Psyche placement.
If Psyche aspects Pluto in your birth chart, the archetype of Psyche may be dramatically activated at some point in your life and it will offer the opportunity for great internal growth, a death/rebirth process, and a chance to become stronger, to transform yourself for the better. This could be traumatic if Psyche also aspects your Chiron.

If Afflicted with squares and oppositions, a person may have issues understanding other peoples point of view or sympathising with them. It overall indicates a narcissistic personality/NPD. For example: Narcissus conjunct North Node- Will become a narcissist in this life. ïżŒ
PERSEVERANTIA (975)-
This asteroid is associated with the idea of never giving up and having the strength to persevere for the long haul. The sign & house your Perseverantia is in is the area of life you have perseverance, dedication, endurance & discipline. Example: If it's in Cancer/4th House- Dedication to Family, youâll do anything for them. When not feeling yourself, they keep you going and the source of your strength. When prominent in a chart it indicates powerhouse type personality. Someone that isn't afraid to stand up for themselves or others, people who are be ready to 'battle and defend what they perceive is right. With mixed aspects a person can balance going over board at times and still have a healthy amount of assertiveness. Easy aspects like Trine or Sextile make a person seem to know how to be assertive when & where needed. They easily stand up for themselves and others they care for. Hard Aspects like Square & opposition can cause a person to have assertiveness that borders intolerance. These people take offence easily.

This asteroid brings mournful qualities, a hopeless romantic, someone with a sedimental heart. If aspected with Squares and Oppositions, a person will be very dark and depressing to interact with. Prominent aspects will make someone a pessimist, having a cup have empty rather than cup half full outlook.

This asteroid is associated with long term sadness and depression. Having square & opposition aspects will give a person depression, moments of sadness and mourning. Having trine &' sextile aspects seem to be able to cope with the events in life that trigger these emotions. Ability to Cope is more developed if easily aspected.
FELICIA (294)-
Itâs our ability to maintain a happy disposition in life and a certain degree of luck. If Prominent in a chart, regardless of what theyâve been through they remain happy, bubbly, cheerful. If negatively aspected or not aspected at all individuals may have a hard time maintaining happiness throughout their life circumstances. TIP- If poorly aspected, Work on your mindset!
HARMONIA (40)-
If prominent in your chart you have more chance in succeeding in the Music Industy/Field. Having conjunct, sextile and trine aspects to this asteroid gives you a natural affinity for creating music that's pleasurable to the senses. If negatively aspected you may still have musical interest but not necessarily be good at it, for example: Someone who loves to sing along to the radio in the car. Hard work needs to be put in place if you want to succeed.
SOPHIA (251)-
This asteroid gives an above average sense of wisdom, insight and intuition that can surprise others. The house & Sign it's in can also show where you have wisdom, for example; Someone with Sophia conjunct Uranus may have natural wisdom when it comes to individuality, Standing out from the crowd and innovation. Nemesis (128) is such an interesting asteroid to study, it relates to enemies, sabotage, toxic competence. Remember those movies in which the protagonist has a lifelong enmity? Well, thatâs how nemesis works. In this case Iâm only examining its role related to others towards us, with the exception of the Ascendant. Hope you enjoy it!
~The sign that is placed in certain houses is more related to the traits (and sometimes placements of people) that hate us, along with the planets placed there. While the Rulers and itâs aspects relate more to why they hate us.~
đ„Ascendant: As I mentioned previously, Nemesis has a lot to do with sabotage, the 1st house being the house of the self, it is related to self-sabotage. The sign, Ruler, planets, and aspects of the Ruler can give us clues that it is in what we sabotage ourselves.
đ„2nd house: It tells us the kind of people who hate us for what we have. The sign of the 2nd house warns us of these people and can give indications of the traits of their personality, the planets that are in the house as well. The Ruler and its aspects can tell us more about this hatred and for what specific thing it arises. As an example, Venus ruling the 2nd house we might be envied for the love we receive. Saturn, for the power we have or for work successes.

Asteroids have a subtle effect. The more you evolve, the more you feel their effect as a focused expression of your natal chart. The asteroid Hekate (asteroid 100) is a minor astrological asteroid that determines the inner senseâwomenâs ways of knowingâand whether one can trust that; night; dreams; whether the mother acted as a protector; âcroneâ stages of life or positions; intuitive wisdom; Hekate is sometimes important at or in connection with childbirth, and can show what wisdom is gained at other life passages. The sacred day of Hekate is the 29th of every month. For astrological aspects, keep your aspects major: conjunction, square, opposition and your orbs right, within 1 degree. Itâs a very Cancerian asteroid because not only does it have moon symbolism, Hekate trusts her feelings entirely and gives no credence to logic. In Greek mythology, Hekate was the goddess of magic, witchcraft, the night, moon, ghosts and necromancy. She was the only child of the Titans Perses and Asteria, from whom she received her power over heaven, earth, and sea. Three metamorphosis myths describe the origins of her animal familiars: the black she-dog and the polecat (a mustelid house pet kept by the ancients to hunt vermin). The dog was the Trojan Queen Hekabe (Hecuba) who leapt into the sea after the fall of Troy and was transformed by the goddess. The polecat was either the witch Gale, turned as punishment for her incontinence, or Galinthias, midwife of Alkmene (Alcmena), who was transformed by the enraged goddess Eileithyia but adopted by the sympathetic Hekate. Hekate was usually depicted in Greek vase painting as a woman holding twin torches. Sometimes she was dressed in a knee-length maidenâs skirt and hunting boots, much like Artemis. In statuary, Hekate was often depicted in triple form as a goddess of crossroads (x). She showed Demeter the way through the Underworld to Persephone. And so it is, the asteroid shows the way through your shadow and other places unknown. Hekate represents our shadow side. She resides comfortably in the Underworld, but itâs more complex than a shadow side, which sounds like Lilith or Waldemath. Hekate was very levelheaded, practical and reliable, and not blind in the slightest. Her representing the crossroads is majorly important. It adds an ambiguous element to her nature - not unlike a 12th house vibe. And yet the crossroads is a place of enormous power reserve in witchcraft. So with this, the hypothesis is that when sheâs prominent in a chart, the native will possess this same kind of energy - powerful and efficient when conscious, and dangerous, stuck in the crossroads; susceptible to evil; and easily led down the wrong path, when unaware.
The sign Hekate is in determines what what we need to do to discern our direction in life; the natal house Hekate occupies can show where we go to find those parts of ourselves that were lost.
The activation of this asteroid (and all asteroids in general) is best expressed in aspects, either natally, or in synastry with another personâs planet/asteroid. Aspects to Hekate in a general relationship are as follows:
Planets in square or opposition to Hekate tend to link the native up with people who use the native for guidance only to discard them after they get what they need, resulting in resentment and anger on the part of the Hekate person. In relationships, the Hekate native tends to be a loner and may prefer not to marry or have children, which in hard aspect, may make the planet person resentful and angry (only if children/marriage is the planet personâs goal).
One personâs Hekate conjunct a planet in anotherâs chart brings feelings of support and guidance, especially during difficult or dark times of their lives when they arenât sure what to do or where to turn; however if that person also has a natal planet in hard aspect to Hekate, it conflicts with the other personâs chart and the result is a volatile, often complicated state of âknowing whatâs best for the otherâ and resentment for the other being too smothering.
Hekate in opposition to planets or other asteroids can indicate a situation where opposites attract; the loved one functions as a pillar of strength or a disconnect can emerge in which the planet person winds up distrusting and even hating/dismissing the Hekate person. How good or bad the relationship is is up to the planet person.

Hekate in the 11th house: is about turning to friends for advice and help when we feel lost. Friends can often be the voice of reason and comfort, and how we can use this support is shown.
Hekate in the 12th house: shows that you must turn to your own unconscious mind and trust the unseen when you feel lost or confused. There seems to be some confusion about retrograde planets going along the internet. If you were to average out all the posts describing what happens to an Rx (retrograde) planet, it would likely read something like this:
âRetrograde planets appear to be moving backwards through the sky from the perspective of earth which gives them special properties. The planetâs energy is turned inwards and things that planet rules tend to go haywire, so here are some tips for surviving a retrograde and the shadow period before it:
1)Â Â Â Â Â Take some time and reflect on what that planet means. Retrogrades are time for reflection.
2)Â Â Â Â Â Expect things to go wrong, even things that planet may or may not rule. Retrogrades are just kinda hectic, so wait till everything is direct to move forward.
3)Â Â Â Â Â Donât do anything that involves that planet. At all. ESPECIALLY if itâs Mercury retrograde.
4)Â Â Â Â Â Hide in a bunker under the ground. Wait for all the planets to go direct. Itâs just safer that way, ok?
Retrogrades in the natal chart may have a very muted expression because their energy is turned inwards. Donât worry, it doesnât mean your doomed, but youâll just have a LOT of extra difficulty and awkwardness as a result of your retrograde planet because other people wonât get your weird way of doing that planetâs action. On the bright side, though, sometimes these retrogrades can actually bring special talents because the planets motion is turned inwards so itâs like doing a lesson over again.â
It is true, a retrograde planet CAN cause some hiccups when they are transiting, but descriptions like this stigmatize people who natally have retrograde planets. Are they doomed to never be able to use that planetâs energy because itâs âturned inwardsâ? What does it even mean for a planetâs energy to be âturned inwardâ? Why are these planets âawkwardâ? And what exactly are the âspecial talentsâ retrograde planets give the native? Those are questions the questions that really need to be answered.
When astrologers describe a planets energy as being turned inwards, what they are trying to get across is a slightly more complex idea in simpler language and that idea is this: Retrograde planets, karmically speaking, are places where we subconsciously know the consequences of using that planetâs energy. All of our actions have consequences both good and bad whether we realize it or not. People with a planet retrograde are likely to have an uneasy feeling about using their retrograde planetâs energy because they can feel the consequences. This doesnât mean there arenât consequences from acting with a direct planet, but when we do that, we often arenât conscious of what could go wrong.
For example, a person with a Mercury Rx will tend to think twice before saying anything or may opt not to say anything at all because they are painfully conscious of the weight their words carry. This can lead them to being labeled as âawkwardâ in the way they communicate. In transit form, this often looks like communication chaos, but in reality, Mercury Rx is trying to remind us to slow down and think twice about what we say, both verbally and nonverbally, because even small acts of communication can have a big impact on our lives and the lives of others.
How can retrograde planets be hidden talents, you may ask? Well, karmically, people tend to learn through trial and error. They do something, they learn the consequences either good or bad from what they can see. They watch the effects of their actions. That being the case, people with retrograde planets can tap into their planet for a ridiculous amount of talent, but they also tend to be very aware of the cost of doing so and will not do it unless they have a very, very good reason. Again, using Mercury as an example, somebody with a Mercury in retrograde likely knows EXACTLY how to communicate what theyâre feeling, they just choose not to because they donât want to hurt the other personâs feelings. Saying how they feel could result in a lot of emotional fallout, so while they have the talent to really get their point across when provoked, theyâre often sorry later if they do.
Hopefully that helps explain the formula for how interpretations for retrograde planets are created. Here are some of my personal interpretations for each planet retrograde when in the natal chart, but if you have anything to add or ask please do so in the comments below.

Mercury Rx: Natives with this placement often get a reputation for being quiet, not having a lot to say, or not being able to get their point across. The truth is, they often know exactly what they want to say but are more aware of the consequences of speaking their mind and would rather stay quiet than deal with that. They also tend to process information more thoroughly than people with direct Mercury placements do because they know the consequences of spreading false information or assuming something is correct right away.
Mars Rx: Natives with this placement may be labeled as weak willed or apathetic since they tend not to be self-starters or have much drive to compete. Often times, the gentle placement of Mars Rx simple doesnât like the collateral damage of competition. While people with a Mars direct may enjoy activities that require competing, Mars Rx knows that for as high as the winner gets, the loser gets equally low. This may lead them to forgo participation in anything they must do alone, so they may get run over by more competitive types. The upside is theyâre generally pretty good at waiting and are very patient people although their lack of a rush can frustrated more ambitious people. While they can be exceptional competitors under the right circumstances, youâre unlikely to find Mars Rx using that ability.
Venus Rx: Natives with this placement tend to shy away from the material side of life. As a result, they often get labeled as having poor financial management and eating disorders when in reality, they tend to not need a lot of physical objects to be happy. Itâs not that they donât like stuff, they are just aware of how it can complicate things. The stereotype about being unloving is absolutely not true, as Venus Rx can know a love beyond what physical needs dictates, but they often question WHY someone loves them and for what reasons. They can get whatever it is that they want or need, but typically that isnât much because thatâs all they want, not because thatâs all they can get in whatever house Venus is in. They donât want to deal with the burning questions of why they do something if material investments are involved, so they keep it simple.
Ceres Rx: Natives with this placement may lead hectic, disorganized lives because frankly, they know how boring a routine can be. People with Ceres Rx are completely capable of running a tight ship but would prefer to let things be loose. They likely frustrate those around them with their apparent lack of discipline and routine, but if they absolutely have to they know how to get themselves back on track just in time to go back to a messy, surprise-oriented way of living.
Juno Rx: Natives with this placement may avoid partnerships and seem to be very âindependentâ instead. These lone wolves, however, are just trying to avoid dependence on somebody. Itâs not that they canât have partners, itâs just that they often donât because they donât want to use another person to compensate for what they canât do; they want to be able to do it themselves! Juno Rx people typically wonât settle down until they can be for themselves what they want in a partner. This can lead to their partner feeling useless since Juno Rx tend to have a âIf I want it done right Iâll do it myselfâ mentality but they can and do depend on partners once theyâre satisfied with their own capabilities.
Jupiter Rx: Natives with this placement may avoid questioning things too deeply or be uneasy about learning too much about topics like politics and religion. These people often have the ability to pull off miracles of luck in their given houses, going much further than their Jupiter direct counterparts but they tend not to because theyâre aware of how bad the crash from going too high is. As a result, Jupiter Rx natives tend to be more low key and avoid situations where they learn too much too fast. People may think of them as ignorant or as âkilling the vibeâ but itâs because Jupiter Rx knows subconsciously about the come down of a good time all too well.
Saturn Rx: Natives with this placement often have a lack of outside structure and as a result get very, very good at structuring themselves. Often, these people are disillusioned with the true cost of achievement and may choose to live life as free spirits rather than submitting to âthe systemâ. Saturn Rx can work remarkably hard and know all the steps that go into making something big happen, but because they can see all the steps and work ahead of time, they tend to abstain. People with Saturn direct may think of them as downers but thatâs just because Saturn Rx people know the grim reality of ambition.
Uranus Rx: Natives with this placement are often labeled as old fashioned or unable to keep up with the times because theyâre not excited by new ways of doing things and technology. Uranus Rx, however, is very aware that anything that claims to solve a problem is likely to just create another in its place, even if it isnât obvious. These people may find comfort in tradition because at least then they know what the consequences of the actions that have been tested over generations are and they donât have to deal with figuring out new solutions to the new problems.
Neptune Rx: Natives with this placement are often labeled as grim and being downers when they feel theyâre just being the voice of reason. Neptune Rx knows subconsciously the consequences of getting oneâs hopes too high and they know that life is rarely as magical as we build it up to be. While these people may seem to move through life without a sense of wonder since they keep their expectations low, itâs because they donât want to ruin a truly beautiful moment by making it more than it is in their head.
Pluto Rx: Natives with this placement are often labeled as âchillâ, or more frequently, unpassionate. People with a Pluto Rx are usually pretty good at letting things go, especially in their house/sign that Pluto Rx is in, because they know the consequences of obsessing over something. They generally avoid pain because although they are very capable of gritting through rough situations when they need to, they donât like how those types of experiences shape people.
