Your Rising Sign by Degree
One thing I don't think gets talked about enough in astrology is just how much your rising degree can change the way you experience your rising sign. Two people can have the exact same rising sign and still move through life very differently because the degree adds another layer to the story. In this post, I dive into how your rising degree can show up in everything from your childhood and first impressions to your relationships, life lessons, and the kinds of new chapters you're constantly being pushed toward. Click here for the 1st part.
Rising at 15°
You are giving magnetism, and it is because your energy is compelling like a siren. Upon first impressions, people feel like you're very charismatic and confident. People find your energy to be memorable, the conversations with you are enthralling, and people truly don't want them to end! As a child, your personality was probably noticeable very early on. You were expressive, you enjoyed standing out, and you were actually really comfortable with the spotlight on you. Usually, you had a very strong sense of self, but if not, strengthening yourself esteem as a child was quite easy for you. Others often recognize your talents and your confidence very quickly. In life, you're somebody who is known for being themselves honestly. You're not somebody who will sugarcoat or mow themselves into being somebody else for approval, but instead you just naturally attract attention from people because you're interested in their eyes. People will remember you very easily, remember situations with you, fun memories, etc. Sometimes you can live in people's minds rent-free! Because you are very comfortable taking this center stage and taking initiative, people will typically look at you as a leader, and you might become the face of certain projects or groups because of this. You could feel like you are getting to know yourself better when you are in a position of leadership, and this is because you really thrive when you are working hard, working with others, and setting an example for others. You have a very authentic expression, and even though you might go through some vulnerable situations in life, you come out with strength and confidence. A good career path for you to take would involve public speaking, entertainment, leadership, and entrepreneurship. You are somebody that people want to follow as a guide, so having a strong public influence will bring in lots of financial wealth for you.
Rising at 16°
You are definitely very disciplined and serious in demeanor. You are responsible, patient, and self-controlled, and this is because you have learned to experience! Upon first impressions, people would say that you are rather reserved and dependable. Other people might find you to be very mature for your age and very composed. You might have felt like life wasn't very fair for you in your early years, which is why you feel like you have to work so hard as an adult. But as a child, you were seen as very serious and responsible before most of your peers were. You had to learn patience the hard way, and this could have been through delays or losing something important to you. You definitely don't like to waste your time because to you, time actually has significance. Nonetheless, you have a quiet determination that helps you work towards your long-term goals, but as a kid, you felt very isolated or separated from childlike experiences, which could have affected your childhood very deeply. It has made you feel like relating to other people was too difficult or out of reach. Because of this, you could have been very hard on yourself as a child and might have even struggled with that into your adulthood. Success is something that comes to you gradually, which could be very frustrating for you, but as you are gradually succeeding, you are achieving things that most people either can't or would have a very hard time doing. You are somebody who might not see yourself the way that other people see you. You might be too hard on yourself and too unfair on yourself. A Life lesson that you definitely need to learn involves accepting that progress can be slow but is long-lasting and that rest is productive too. You don't have to define yourself only through the work that you do or how far you push yourself. A good career path for you would involve counseling, psychology, human services, mentoring, trauma therapy, working in prisons as counselors or mentors, and working in any rehabilitation service would be fruitful.
Rising at 17°
You definitely like to achieve and even exceed your own standards! You're somebody who goes above and beyond to accomplish the very important goals in your life, and you're somebody who needs to set goals to feel like they are serving their purpose. When people first meet you, they find you to be very capable, driven, motivated, and successful! People are drawn to your power and your ability to bring in whatever it is you're trying to manifest or work towards. As a child, you could have been someone who liked to win! You could have been very competitive and enjoyed accomplishing things that you know others wouldn't be able to. Competition came from within and from others, but you were mostly competitive with yourself above anyone else. As a kid, you definitely enjoyed recognition, and you might do things to get that recognition. You could have pushed your limits for attention, which could have resulted in an accident. An important life lesson for you to learn is that achievement is your only value, and that you don't have to always be one-upping others or even yourself just to feel worthy. It's okay to celebrate the journey and not just the outcome, just like it's okay to romanticize your day-to-day reaching mini goals while working on your long-term goals. It is essential to show yourself more grace because everybody knows you're a winner; you don't have to keep proving it! You have a natural gift to attract opportunities that will be prosperous for you, and you definitely have the motivation to accomplish your dreams; you just have to be a bit easier on yourself. A good career path for you would involve academia, law, ethics, publishing, higher education, being an author, creating educational texts, sharing your work with others, and social media.
Rising at 18°
You are somebody who often comes across as incredibly wise, thoughtful, or mature, even if you don't necessarily feel that way on the inside. People will assume that you have probably been through something because of your ātoughā or deep exterior, and this is hard to ignore. Growing up, you may have been expected to grow up a little faster than other people, or you naturally became the person others leaned on for advice, stability, or emotional support. Because of this, you can become very hard on yourself whenever you make mistakes because you feel like you're supposed to know better. You were very sensitive, but private. You have a gift of noticing what others do not. You naturally think long-term, and you're usually willing to sacrifice immediate gratification for something that will benefit you later. Some of your biggest life lessons revolve around realizing that you don't always have to carry everything by yourself, allowing yourself to be vulnerable, and understanding that your worth isn't measured by how responsible or dependable you are. People often see you as somebody they can trust almost immediately, and you can leave a lasting impression simply because of how composed you seem. You will be seen as intense, but so respected, even if you can be hard to read. As you get older, you'll probably notice that your confidence grows tremendously because this degree tends to reward patience, consistency, and perseverance. Ideal career paths would involve medicine, crisis management, finance, investigation, becoming a private investigator, joining the police force, etc.
Rising at 19°
There is something about you that feels adventurous, optimistic, and larger than life. Even if you're shy, people often assume you're very open-minded or that you've lived an interesting life. When people first meet you, they find you to be a very warm person, very friendly, and very bright. You can light up a room just by being you. You tend to attract experiences that broaden your perspective, and your life may involve frequent travel, moving, education, different cultures, or constantly expanding your worldview. Growing up, you might have been encouraged to think big, or maybe you had no choice but to dream bigger than your circumstances. You were very energetic as a child, and you had no problem with being independent or expressing yourself without the validation of others. You're somebody who usually believes that things will eventually work out, even after setbacks. Because of that, people are naturally inspired by your resilience. One of your biggest lessons is learning that optimism doesn't mean avoiding reality. Sometimes you'll have to slow down and deal with uncomfortable truths instead of constantly looking toward the next opportunity. You can also overestimate what you're capable of taking on, which means pacing yourself becomes very important. People often remember you as somebody who makes them feel hopeful, encourages them to dream bigger, or changes the way they think about something. A good career path for you would involve media, sales, marketing, communication, and social media. You could do very well making sales online, creating ads or stories that will bring in financial traffic, being a social media manager, or running the social media for your business, etc.
Rising at 20°
You are someone who strives to be diplomatic and fair in most situations. Relationships can definitely shape your identity, especially as you are younger. Upon first impressions, people are quite smitten by you. People find you to be well-balanced, well-adjusted, and beautiful lol. You naturally come across as ambitious, capable, and somebody who has their life together, whether that's actually true or not. People tend to notice your work ethic very quickly, and they often assume you're much more disciplined than the average person. Growing up, achievement, reputation, or responsibility may have been emphasized within your environment, making you feel like success had to be earned rather than freely enjoyed. You might have spent a lot of your younger years trying to prove yourself or feeling like your accomplishments determined your value. Because of this, failure can feel incredibly personal for you. One of your biggest life lessons is realizing that rest isn't laziness and that your identity is much bigger than your career or your achievements. You're somebody who naturally commands respect, and over time, people will likely come to see you as an authority in whatever field you pursue. The older you become, the more effortless your confidence tends to feel because this degree often improves tremendously with age. Ideal career paths for you would involve management, administration, wellness management, organizational leadership, organizational psychology, PR, HR, business psychology, etc.
Rising at 21°
You have a very unique presence that people don't forget. There is something about the way you carry yourself that feels different, unconventional, or even slightly unpredictable. When it comes to first impressions, you leave an impression with others that lasts a lifetime because people associate positive memories with you. People might struggle to put you into a box because every time they think they've figured you out, you surprise them. Growing up, you may have always felt a little different from your peers, or maybe you were encouraged to think independently instead of following the crowd. You're somebody who values authenticity more than popularity, even if it takes you a while to fully embrace that. Sometimes you can accidentally distance yourself from people because you become so focused on protecting your individuality. One of your greatest life lessons is learning that being understood isn't the same thing as losing your uniqueness. You naturally attract unusual friendships, unexpected opportunities, and people from all different walks of life. Others often leave interactions with you feeling inspired to think differently or challenge what they've always believed. You could have a core belief that you are meant for so much more in this life. Ideal career paths for you would involve technology, humanitarian work, innovative work, charity work, work overseas, etc.
Rising at 22°
There is something incredibly compassionate and emotionally intuitive about your presence, and it usually did not come from a place of peace. You could have had a ārough goā at life in the beginning, due to factors out of your control. When people first meet you, they see you as someone very serious, a little intimidating, and quite mysterious. However, nothing about you makes people want to stay away, but rather come closer. Even before people know you, they often feel comfortable opening up around you because you naturally create a sense of emotional safety. Growing up, you may have been highly sensitive to the moods and emotions of everyone around you, which could have made you absorb far more than you realized. Because of that, you might sometimes struggle with emotional boundaries or carrying responsibilities that were never yours to begin with. You also had to be the āstrong oneā when you were just a kid, and you faced a lot of trivial adult-like situations as a child that could have put you in a permanent survival mode that you carried throughout your life. You're somebody who often leads with empathy, but your biggest lesson is realizing that compassion shouldn't come at the expense of yourself. You also have to learn that taking on too much responsibility for other people does not make them love, respect, and appreciate you the way you do them. You can sometimes feel guilty for saying no or putting yourself first, and you definitely struggle with trusting others. People perceive you as very mature for your age, dependable, trustworthy, competent, intelligent, and stable. Your intuition is usually very strong, and throughout your life, you'll continue learning how to trust it instead of constantly seeking outside validation. Once you learn healthy boundaries, your ability to help and inspire others becomes one of your greatest strengths. A good career path for you would involve spirituality, psychics, healers, death workers, imagination, film, music, creative fields, writing novels, graphic design, writing movie scripts, specifically in the horror/suspense genre.
Rising at 23°
You have a presence that naturally grabs people's attention without you necessarily trying to. Communication and adaptability are high values for you. When people first meet you, they find you to be very friendly, intelligent, curious, and super easy to talk to. You're witty, expressive, and you have a natural gift of making everyone feel heard. Your social awareness is a hidden gift of yours because you really do know how to easily read a room. There is something expressive, confident, or magnetic about the way you carry yourself that makes people curious about you. Growing up, you may have been encouraged to stand out, and you were always curious about everything. You loved to perform, entertain, or develop your creative talents, but you could have been very bored with repetitive routines. You were definitely the kid with many interests all at once, so you were super quick to pick up new skills very easily. Even if you weren't necessarily extroverted, life probably kept putting you into situations where you had to be seen. You're somebody who enjoys expressing yourself, and you usually have a very memorable personality. At times, you might struggle with feeling like you're only appreciated when you're achieving something or entertaining others. One of your biggest life lessons is realizing that not every opportunity needs to be pursued, and that depth and energy put into one thing can be just as valuable as breadth. You really struggle with monotony, so you must find a consistent, but not completely unchangeable routine. You naturally inspire confidence in other people simply by being unapologetically yourself. As you grow older, you'll likely become even more comfortable taking up space because this degree teaches you that you were never meant to shrink yourself for the comfort of others. A good career path for you would involve entrepreneurship, competition, sports, initiative-driven careers, sales, and customer service as well.
Rising at 24°
You are naturally considered to be a caregiver type as you genuinely love nurturing others. Being protective and nursing people back to Good health could be a major life lesson for you or a major theme in your life. You are very loyal and emotionally secure, and other people can feel that. You have a very practical way of approaching life, and people often trust your judgment because you seem incredibly thoughtful before making decisions. Upon first impressions, people can definitely view you as compassionate, giving, and patient. You're seen as somebody easy to open up to. Growing up, you were definitely seen as gentle and observant, sensitive as well. You could have been overly protective of your siblings, cousins, friends, or even your pets. You or somebody who enjoyed helping adults with small tasks, so you probably regularly volunteered for things, lol. You were the kid who did not like to see somebody excluded from events or treated unfairly, so you tried to include everybody, even if they were different from you. You can sometimes become your own biggest critic, constantly feeling like you could have done something better. Building something important is everything to you, especially building meaningful relationships and creating stability from that. You want to take care of your loved ones, but you would also like it if they considered you, and sometimes you might not always feel like you are considered. Your inner strength definitely involves your high level of emotional intelligence and how you can read the room without anyone saying a word. You're somebody who genuinely wants to improve yourself and your surroundings, but one of your greatest lessons is learning when "good enough" truly is enough. You naturally enjoy helping people solve problems, offering advice, or making situations more efficient. Others often see you as dependable, intelligent, and quietly competent. You have to be mindful of overgiving, self-neglect, and difficulty with boundaries, as these things seem to be a major shadow trait of this degree in your rising. The more you let go of impossible standards, the more confident and relaxed you'll become. A good career path for you to take would involve diplomacy, aesthetics, design, relationship-based careers like becoming a marriage counselor, a divorce attorney, a family therapist, an art therapist, a graphic or home interior designer, etc.
Rising at 25°
I'd say that you are considered somewhat of a free spirit! You value your freedom and time to explore the world, and you definitely could have been in situations where you had to adapt and reinvent yourself, which is why you like to live life with a free mindset! Nonetheless, you're very curious about the odds and ends of the universe, and you live to have new experiences even if that means taking risks that you might not be able to come back from. Your identity can certainly be intertwined with trying new things, leaving your comfort zone, and discovering who you are through uncertain experiences. There is something incredibly charming and approachable about your energy. People usually find you easy to talk to, and you often make a wonderful first impression because you naturally know how to make others feel comfortable. Growing up, you were certainly looking to learn about everything, and you were always asking to try out something new. You were certainly a very independent kid who questioned the status quo rather than just blindly accepting authority, so you could have been seen as the āproblem childā simply because you had your own curious mind. However, you enjoyed being free, creative, and chaotic! You grew up to hate being restricted or micromanaged, and you might have found yourself in situations where you had to combat that resistance from others. An important life lesson is to really distinguish the difference between freedom and escapism. Freedom means making choices and not avoiding responsibility, while escape is just a means of leaving without finding a solution. You really struggle with commitment and not commitment to other people, but commitment to yourself and your path so you might revisit the lesson of patience, and strengthening the natural gifts that you were born with, rather than wanting to regularly reinvent yourself. Long-term growth will definitely require long-term consistency. In other types of relationships, you are very committed but you definitely do need your freedom to be who you are. You could be very blunt and flexible, and you definitely value laughter and being goofy with your person. You should certainly use your gift of movement and adaptability to explore different career paths like journalism, sales/entrepreneurship, film and media, or freelancing! I think with this degree on your rising, you could be your own worst critic because how you do yourself is not how others view you at all. Usually, you think you're not doing enough while others are wondering how you are keeping your head on your shoulders by taking on so much. A good career path for you to take for involve strategy, research, finance, and psychology. You would be a great private investigator, a great detective, and you'd even be excellent working for the FBI, as well as offering your own private investigative resources. You could also work as a bank teller or financial consultant as well.
Rising at 26°
People often feel like there's much more to you than what meets the eye. This is because you are somebody who would be perceived as mysterious, intense, or private because of what you've been through, and you are collective wisdom through experience. Usually, this is a misunderstanding, so when people really get to know you, they do see the kind and friendly side of you, but you could come off as somebody who is a little unapproachable, and it's only because you are extremely discerning of others. Others may instinctively feel like you understand things that aren't spoken out loud. Growing up, you had a very calm demeanor in comparison to other children. You certainly valued being observant rather than speaking out of habit or impulse. You could have definitely been one of those kids with a very mature vocabulary or way of thinking, and you were responsible without much force or reminder! People would have described you as well-behaved, and that's because you stay out of trouble, and you were surprisingly patient for your age. This gives big sister energy lol. Others view you as dependable, respectable, and hard-working, and you are fiercely protective of your privacy and your close friends. You might even be considered to be the therapist friend out of your social group. In your family dynamics, you could have felt like you had to be the glue of your family, and your parents could have made you feel like you guys were on an equal playing field, so you had to bear a lot of the responsibilities that they should have been responsible for. Even if it could have felt like you've had a rough path in the past, these trials and tribulations made you somebody who is very reliable, patient, and emotionally resilient, especially during times of chaos. Later in life, you can totally become a mentor just based on all that you've been through. You will definitely build career success when you are persistent and when you take risks or lean into what you do best. Be careful when carrying too much alone. Emotional burdens can be hard for this Rising placement because it could feel like you can't really confide in anybody, because you are that person for everybody else. Your biggest life lesson is to try to enjoy the present, let people help you, share your emotions, and just trust the timing of your life. A good career path for you would involve teaching, travel, writing, and cultural work. You could do work overseas, you could be a travel nurse, you could be a multilingual educator, and a different country, etc.
Rising at 27°
You are the definition of an old soul. You are wise, compassionate, and have a very healing quality to your energy. This definitely did not come easy because everything that you have been through wasn't always a walk in the park. A life motto of yours could certainly be that everything you experience definitely taught you something, and this is a spiritual gift that a lot of people do not have. The gift of accepting what was. Upon first impressions of you, people definitely see you as very gentle, thoughtful, compassionate, soft spoken, and emotionally safe. You could have an inviting quality about you, and this could be anything from the way you carry yourself to the gentleness in your tone of voice. People will look up to you very quickly and ask you for advice because I feel understood in your presence, and they just assume that you have been through everything, so you can handle what they have to tell you. Be careful, though, because people will definitely project the need to use you as a counselor even if that's not your profession. Nonetheless, you were certainly a sensitive kid who could have been described as an old soul by other people. You enjoyed having deeper, more serious conversations, and you noticed things that adults assume that children wouldn't notice. You could also be a natural storyteller from childhood as well, and you could have really enjoyed reading, history, psychology, philosophy, or art. As you grow, you'll realize that your identity is tied to understanding your emotions and the emotions of others, helping others, and accepting change out of your control. Try not to take on other people's pain or to idealize people, because you can paint a pretty picture of what you want somebody to be, and they could just not be that. Do not ignore the red flags when they are gleaming in your face! A big life lesson here is to embrace boundaries with compassion. Except that not everything can be fixed, and that it is not your job to do so, and to stay grounded. You would make an excellent psychologist, therapist, counselor, social worker, coach, teacher, author, art therapist, or spiritual advisor.
Rising at 28°
You have been there and done that in this lifetime. Your ability to transform, transition, and evolve after some crazy crap happening to you is something that should go down in the history books. You had to adapt because life did not let you get comfortable, nor was it your personal destiny to be comfortable. In this lifetime, you really are meant to become who you're meant to be, and you might have a core belief that you are not meant to stay the same person forever. You develop your identity through endings and beginnings, so over time, detachment becomes second nature to you. Your growth requires shedding old versions of yourself, even if that means leaving behind the things that you got so comfortable with. Upon first impressions, people definitely be careful see you as thoughtful, reflective, very interesting, why is beyond your years, hard to define, proper, and like you are going to be something someday. People put you on a pedestal because they know that you are capable of much more. In any relationship, you definitely value authenticity and honesty, but you also value Mutual support and this idea of mutual evolution. Much like your personal life, you need to be around people who are open to changing themselves for the better. As a child, you could have felt like you didn't fit in, and that is because you had changing interests frequently. It was really hard for you to stick to one thing because again, you're really here to take in as much as you can and to grow. You could have had difficulty explaining who you are or what you're interested in to other people, so others could have sort of shunned you because they thought you were weird. However, the friendships that you do have will always change. Your friends will consider you to be different all the time, or like you are constantly figuring yourself out. Your ability to change so quickly comes from your family dynamics and the fact that you could have moved homes a lot, could have been a part of a military family, so travel was constant, or could have had a one-parent household that required you to step up. Keep in mind, this is not a universal experience; any situation that would propel you to have this inherent belief that you cannot settle down would cause this. However, you are very self-aware of yourself and what you need, so when you do detach, it's because it is in your best interest. You have a great perspective it can see the bigger picture of things, and you don't only change selfishly.. You hold space for others while you change, and you help others change with you. Be mindful of restlessness because you are constantly trying to look forward and not appreciate the present. It's important to trust the timing in your life and to focus on building groups rather than looking for the next thing that you feel will evolve your life in some way. For careers, you would do excellent in psychology, coaching, counseling, organizational change, education, writing, research, entrepreneurship, humanitarian work, and crisis management. You also have an extraordinary ability to bring in lots of money into your life.
Rising at 29°
You are here to master and complete something big. With your rising at 29°, your core theme in life could be about urgency, turning points, and a culmination of energy that has been cultivating through different lifetimes. You will know what this is about based on recurring themes that you run into throughout your life. This degree on your Rising is very karmic, so if life feels intense, that is not by accident it is by design. What you go through in this lifetime is meant to prepare you for a new cycle, and that could be really complicated because these life lessons can be pretty extreme and pretty dramatic. One of your life mottos could definitely be about who you are becoming and wanting to separate yourself from who you once were. As a child, you were viewed as somebody who could have been older than your age because of your level of emotional maturity and self-awareness. You had a very strong personality from a very young age, meaning if you felt a certain way about something, you spoke up, and you spoke with conviction. People could have challenged you as a child as a way to humble you or put you in your place, which could have not worked. But nonetheless, you didn't feel like you fit in either in your friend circle or in your family because you felt very different from everybody else. You could have also had a very spooky childhood as well; you could have seen apparitions, spirits, maybe even demons. You had to become emotionally mature faster than the others because the life situations you endured didn't really give you the grace to handle them any other way than being serious. I'm not saying that this degree could bring on a traumatic childhood, but what I am saying is that things were a bit traumatic in the sense that you didn't get to fully experience the healthy childhood that everyone is promised to have for one reason or another. In relationships, as you grow older, you definitely value quality over quantity, and you don't immediately trust people, but the people that you do trust end up being lifelong friends. You certainly are a devoted lover, to the point of being selfless for the person that you love. You might go through several identity shifts, either for love or just because it is time to grow, and you take on reinvention pretty easily. Some things that you should watch out for are the feeling of being behind because you might think that you should know who you are at any point in your journey, but you're still growing. You might compare yourself to other people and how far they've come along, and you might feel like it doesn't make sense that other people have their life together when you're still figuring it out. Comparison, it really is the thief of all joy. Watch out for how intent you can be as well, because taking life very seriously could cause some health issues in the long run. A big life lesson is that you don't need to be rushing anything; you will master your life. You don't have to do it immediately. You have to accept that you're not perfect, because you shouldn't have to judge your growth so harshly. After all, growth is not linear. For careers, you would be a great lawyer because you're very wise, you would be a great candidate for a leadership role, you do wonderful research, medicine, advocacy work, and politics.

Rising at 0°
When you have a rising sign at 0°, I'd say that you have one of the most unique experiences in this lifetime because you're embodying the purest or rawest expression of the rising sign. This is because it is the pure energy of the sign that it dwells in. Having this degree will usher in new beginnings to your life pretty regularly. You are somebody who will have to be very courageous in this life or will feel the need to be fiercely independent, and your life motto could honestly be that you'll figure it out by trying! You are somebody who learns better through experience rather than preparation from other people, so you can learn faster by jumping into something instead of waiting for somebody to guide you through it. First impressions with you definitely seem to be enthusiastic. People feel like you are very energetic, curious, genuine, and youthful. You might be the kind of person that people will say you are willing to try anything, because it's true! In your relationships, you value honesty and excitement, and you're probably always looking for a new adventure with your person. You hate control and dishonesty, and unnecessary routines. In your childhood, you were very naturally curious and fearless about trying new things. You might not have always thought before acting, but usually things worked out for you, and that was how you were meant to go about learning in your childhood. You had a very strong imagination as well, and people could see that you had a fighter spirit before you could. You would volunteer first, and you would want to get ahead of things first. You made friends very easily, but you definitely struggle with patience. Over the years, your identity develops through trying and failing over and over, but this strengthens your courage to try something new, and you become more authentic because you're not afraid to try and fail. You know exactly what you are capable of. A big life lesson here is that you should slow down and ask for guidance. You have a lot of dreams that you will accomplish, but you can't do it overnight. Be mindful of not being too impatient because you will rush decisions that you'll regret. Try not to trust too easily or underestimate challenges. You could be kind of cocky and think you can handle everything, and life will show you that you cannot. Some really good career paths for you could be entrepreneurship, running startups, sports, emergency services, technology, product design, or advocacy work.
Rising at 1°
You are fiercely independent, and out of a group of people, you would definitely be considered the self-starter! Your confidence is contagious and very noticeable; you are definitely not afraid to learn through trial and error, and this makes people admire you very much! Upon first impressions, people will definitely see how determined you are based on how you go after your goals, they will see how ambitious you are, how motivated you can be, and how direct you are. People like being around you because you're confident and because you know what you're doing, and because people like a good leader lol. As a child, you could have definitely been expecting to become more independent, or you were just put in the position to be the one who has it all together. Older people or parents could have frequently told you to figure it out by yourself, which you did, but that has definitely turned you into somebody who is an extreme go-getter, and it has definitely made it very hard for you to relax. Your life lessons definitely seem to be about being more patient with yourself and with others, accepting and asking for help when you need it, and thinking before acting because with this degree, you can definitely try to be ahead of your time in a bit impulsive, and you appear very confident. When you're struggling, you'll become restless, especially if you are feeling stagnant in life. You give off a very energetic and welcoming first impression, and people typically remember you upon first meeting. You are somebody who starts new chapters often, or may have had to, and so this makes you very comfortable with taking risks and with rapid change because maybe that was your normal. You definitely learned how to be confident through action because you had no choice, and though this might not be a universal experience, you could have moved away from home relatively young, so you might struggle with feeling comfortable staying in one place, and a life theme could be seeking safety or the feeling of home. Some good career paths for you would be in the realm of management, sales, athletics, emergency services, military, politics, law, engineering, product development, and business ownership.

You can definitely have a very calming demeanor, and you're very reliable, especially upon first meeting you. People really like you because of how patient and grounded you can present yourself to be, especially in times of chaos. You're somebody who enjoys the simple things, values comfort, and honors security. You definitely value building up connections and finding a balance in those connections. Themes of self-worth and developing your talents might be repeated throughout your life until you feel secure in these aspects. Creating stability and receiving support could also be another challenge in your life that you will eventually accomplish with a steadfast mindset. When you were younger, you might have had the value instilled in you that routines were very important, and you carried that on into your adulthood. You were probably more observant than immediately reactive, and you were very sensitive to your surroundings. You would definitely notice the little things that people wouldn't, and it could have been anything from a change in energy between your parents, your space not being tidy or kept up, or just the simple things that are more felt rather than said. You picked up on these things very easily, and it made you feel uneasy. To feel secure as a child, you could have attached favorite objects places, or routines to have deep and emotional meaning to you, and it could have been very hard to part ways with some of the things that you had such emotional attachments to. You could have had a very strong attachment to your home, home life, or familiar environments, so moving away later on in life could have been a point of contention for you. You might even feel like your upbringing felt kind of slow-moving, but really, you are developing very steadily and very healthily (most likely), even if you felt behind. You could have had a lot of life experiences that forced you to learn how to be persistent, and this could look like rejection from places, people, or things that you thought were once good for you. Some rejection can actually lead to you building confidence over time, but the downside is that if you face any disappointment in life, it might take you a lot longer to trust people than most. You are somebody who is very selective with who you want in your world as well, so you value long-term friendships and you only really hold on to relationships if they are substantial and layered. Some life lessons that you'll have to learn are definitely to embrace change, because for you, change could be inevitable. You have to learn how to be a little bit flexible and not compare yourself to somebody else's journey, and you have to let go of perfectionism because your life path was not meant to look like somebody else's, and what you have to offer is more than enough as it is. As I have mentioned, you are slow to trust others, but you are extremely loyal once you do. You're somebody who might like a more practical appearance and style as well, and you hate being rushed! A great career path could involve relationship building, art and design, finance, beauty industries, counseling, human resources, teaching, and wellness.

This gives, don't shoot the messager 100%. For you, communication and being social is very important! You are like a natural social chameleon, and you truly enjoy connecting with others through communication because it allows you to be playful and imaginative. You also know how to command attention due to your natural storytelling abilities. You are somebody who definitely needs to express themselves and will, regardless of whether anybody is listening or not! You are quite talkative and curious, and very expressive with your body language and even your facial expressions. When you were younger, you asked endless questions and probably annoyed the crap out of people lol. You could have had a love for reading or storytelling, and you were a very quick learner, especially through conversation. You could have also had a lot of acquaintances growing up, as well as being surrounded by a lot of family members, cousins, neighbors, friends from the neighborhood, etc. You could also have some tension with neighbors, friends, and cousins, and this could be a repeated life theme until you settle your differences with them. You may also have an affinity for writing, speaking, or social media because you're constantly gathering information, and you are the kind of person who just knows everything all the time. You're multifaceted so you definitely have several hobbies that you try to give equal attention to! Some life lessons that you have to learn are the art of staying focused on one thing at a time, following through with the plan that you set forward, and listening as much as you speak! It is also okay to just let yourself be quiet because your value isn't only in what you have to say; sometimes it's the way that you process and sit with the information. Some things that you should certainly be cautious about involve overdependence or relying on others for reassurance way too much. Try to work on your fear of making decisions alone, and try not to seek approval before trusting your own choices. On the bright side, you are super funny and the jokester of your friend group and family. A great career path for you would be writing, journalism, teaching, marketing, media, social media, language learning, public speaking, sales, acting, or communications.

Your family is a major theme in your life, and you are very family-oriented! Upon first meeting you, you are definitely more private and a little harder to get to know, but you do give off a very comforting energy to strangers. People feel a desire to trust you because, although you might be a little mysterious, you're also soft. You're very emotionally observant as well, which could be because of your childhood. Your family had a major influence on your upbringing, and it definitely led to how you view your home life now and how your home life is deeply intertwined with your identity. You could have been brought up in a very emotionally sensitive atmosphere, or you were very sensitive to the situation in your home. At some point, you could have definitely felt responsible for your loved ones, even if it would have made no sense for you to be responsible for them. You may have felt like the emotional anchor in your family, which could have been very hard because when you needed somebody to give you a break, it was almost like you were expected to do the hard things because you were the āstrong oneā. Some life lessons definitely involve having stronger boundaries, and especially stronger emotional boundaries. You're also meant to learn how to be independent from your family or your family's expectations because they will just never align with what you truly need. But beyond that, you love hard, and you're very protective of your loved ones. You are like an onion; people have to peel your layers to get to know you! Some good career paths for you are teaching, communication, advising, research, surveying, advocacy work, and lobbying.

When your rising is at the 5th degree, you are craving an adventure! Your soul lives for freedom and will accept nothing less, and this is because you are somebody who is not afraid to take risks and somebody who is not afraid to embrace change! When you were younger, you could have been seen as energetic and adventurous, maybe too energetic! You were the curious Explorer of the family, so you might have stories of how you would wander off to see what's going on somewhere else! You could have been rambunctious, enjoyed games, sports or imaginary play! You could've been a rebel and could have disliked strict rules, and maybe didn't really follow them. As you got older, you could have definitely sought excitement in places that you probably shouldn't have, and you could have taken your fun a little too far. But you have always been multifaceted and interested in multiple different things, so you could have made a lot of changes to your appearance, the way that you carry yourself, your hair, etc. You may also be very into travel and could have had a lot of experiences where you were able to travel on a whim or could have experienced new things on accident! I'd say that you have a lot of luck regarding travel in general. As you get older, you will notice that you are very charismatic and that your social presence is very powerful. Important life lessons involve committing to something meaningful to your life, to specific people, and to specific movements that fulfil your soul. Another important lesson is to find a balance between freedom and responsibility, and sometimes this will come about through having children, as children are a big theme with this degree. Nonetheless, your charisma and fun-loving nature will lead to a lot of social grace and blessings, but you have to be mindful of restlessness. A good career path for you would involve leadership, entrepreneurship, performance, management, acting, Broadway, etc.

Service and responsibility are major themes of your life, as well as your health and hard work. Upon first meeting you, people can see how truly generous and caring you are as a person. You are very giving, and you're the kind of person who would literally give the shirt off your back to a stranger. You are a hard worker because you have had to be, and this could be due to some inherited perfectionism that you will have to regularly work through throughout life. In your childhood, you were given an unreasonable amount of responsibility for a kid. You were expected to learn to care for others, learn the needs of other people, and then put them above yours, etc. You may have been praised for being so dependable, but on the flip side, you may have also not been recognized for all of the ways that you have given your energy to help somebody else. If you are being praised for being dependable, you might not be recognized for how strenuous your work can be on your energy. Sometimes, being giving could feel very thankless, and you could struggle with that because on the one hand, you are truly selflessā¦but, you're also human, and it would be nice to be recognized for all of the effort that you do for others. Some personal experiences that you might find yourself in involve finding your purpose in service or helping others. You might find it very fulfilling to volunteer your time at homeless shelters or animal shelters, etc. You definitely notice things that people miss, which could be a superpower of yours and something that other people admire. A big lesson for you is to avoid burnout and allow imperfection because you are human! Prioritize taking care of yourself; other people can figure it out without you for a couple of minutes. Good career paths could involve the health service, human services, analysis, organization, administration, HR, intervention therapist, etc.

You or somebody who is definitely very observant of your environment. Upon first meeting you, people view you as analytical and quiet, but very confident. What's interesting about you is that you could be studying for other people, but you're very modest about this. You might not even realize how attractive or visually appealing you are to other people until they say something to you because your mindset is not thinking about things like that. You're mysterious because you hide your cards, and you're a very good listener, which has helped you tremendously not to act before thinking. When you were younger, you definitely enjoyed being alone, and you may have even felt different from your peers. You had an interest in understanding how things work, so you might have been very philosophical or spiritual, which could have alienated you further. You have a very strong inner world, which is why you are totally fine with being on your own, but there does need to be a healthy balance of community and independence, and you might struggle with finding that. You draw people who seek advice because you're somebody who can see all perspectives and can give the appropriate advice for any situation. People often remember you because of the meaningful conversations they have with you. For instance, you could encourage people to leave toxic or abusive relationships, you could encourage people to start businesses, etc. Whatever it is, your advice is life-changing, and people come to you for that. A life lesson that you must really learn is to let yourself open up emotionally and realize that you're not just a walking DSM-5ā¦you're not only here to help other people, nor are you only here to make superficial connections, so try to trust others and avoid isolation as much as you can. Some good career paths for you would be working in law, consulting, politics, advocacy work, having your own non-profit, etc.

You can most definitely have an intense presence, at least when people first meet you. But you don't even try. Your energy commands attention without you trying, actually. You're somebody who's just naturally very good at having strong boundaries, which commands a lot of respect from different types of people. You are definitely seen as quite ambitious, emotionally resilient, and people either admire you or fear you, depending on their attitudes toward you. Sometimes, you can appear older or more mature, but this could also just be your style preferences as well. When you were younger, you may have had to mature more quickly, which is probably why you come off as older. You have encountered a lot of situations that made you build resilience, even if you weren't ready for them. I've also noticed that you could have had a very hard relationship with your mother or a mother figure early on; she could have been out of reach, absent, or struggling in some way that made it hard for you to connect with her. Your childhood was all about power dynamics and control, unfortunately, but it made you somebody who is very hyper aware of your surroundings and very hyper aware of yourself and your needs, which is why you have such strong boundaries. However, because of your experiences that you went through very young, you often feel very misunderstood and like there is a missing piece to your puzzle. You're given a lot of personal experiences where you have to rely on your intuition, especially when it comes to other people. You go through very deep transformations regarding relationships, because you tend to attract very intense relationships that were brought into your world to teach you a lesson. The lessons that you have to learn this lifetime involve letting yourself be truly vulnerable, trusting others, and letting go of control. Some other lessons that you might have to learn or reconcile with our that of your mother wounds and your desire to either be a mother or connect with your mother. Having this degree on your rising can be hard because you go to so many different phases in life that other people would probably not be able to get through as efficiently as you did. Good career choices for you would be in the business of finance, psychology, investigation, transformational work, rehab, drug and alcohol counseling, activities organizer at retirement homes, hospitals, rehab centers, etc.

You are definitely super optimistic as a person, you love to learn, and you are very open-minded. You're somebody who has an endless Bank of stories that would send the average person into outer space just based on how crazy these stories are! This is because you're somebody who lives for a good time and is definitely here to make the most of the time you have! You're curious about cultures, other people's way of life, old ancient texts, different spiritual practices, etc. You might even have a deep desire to be a teacher, or you gravitate towards figures who are mentors in your life. Nonetheless, you typically have a very positive outlook on life, even if you know that life can be messy and complicated. A lot of people can underestimate your intelligence because they think that your wit might have you ignore reality, but you are the kind of person who absolutely knows that the world is on fire, but you also know that there is a lot of love and beauty left in the world too. When you were younger, your curiosity about the world may have made you a teacher's pet lol. You loved to learn beyond school subjects, so you probably had a very used Library card! But even as a kid, you were interested in travel and experiencing different ways of life and this has turned you into a lifelong learner! You may have lived in different states or countries just to experience this desire for change, and you might have even taught different demographics of people or worked as a teacher or mentor in different states/countries. Some life lessons for you definitely involve grounding your big ideas into action. You're somebody who has such a gifted imagination, and with the right motivation and plan, you can create amazing things. Another important lesson is to find a balance between optimism and realism because while it is super important to understand that life is not so black and white and that there is a silver lining, you also need to be realistic about your next moves forward. You might struggle with being too idealistic, especially when you need to have a solid plan in place. A good career path for you would allow you to travel so you could be a travel journalist, a food journalist, where you get to report on food from different cultures, publishing, philosophy, philanthropy, international work, language translating, language tutoring, higher education, and mentorship.

Having your rising at 10 degrees could definitely make you the achiever of your group. You are somebody with a very professional image or first impression, and you could be even a little intimidating because of this. However, your scene is very ambitious, and somebody who has a lot of leadership qualities. People can certainly respect you, but also not know how to approach you because you might come off as a little unapproachable. In childhood, there could have been expectations for you to succeed to the point where I felt almost impossible. This is because you were made aware of what your reputation meant and what it should look like from a very young age. While other kids were exploring their interests and learning more about themselves through fun and childlike activities, you were probably learning how to get things done, how to be more of a leader, and how to stay on top of your tasks to gain recognition. You could have definitely had helicopter parents, our parents that really pushed you to succeed in school because they wanted to maintain a good reputation. On the subject of reputation, your family could have been very reputation-oriented, so you might have felt external pressure to keep up with that strong public image that you set out to have. On the plus side, though, you are very comfortable with responsibility, you are very rational, especially during times of crises, and you have become somebody who is very dependable. Some life lessons for you involve separating your worth from this idea of achievement and perfection, and making time for your personal life. If there's one thing that you might struggle with, it is finding a balance between fun and a genuine connection with work and climbing a social ladder. You are seen as āthe capable oneā in your group of friends or in your family, which could be a strength of yours, but also something that feels like a blockage to your personal healing because you might feel like you are ātoo strongā to need help. The problem is that you think that you're incompetent when you're struggling, and for starters, there's nothing wrong with not having it all together all the time, and you're not incompetent if you need a little help. Some ideal career paths for you would be working in government, business, authority roles, strategy, analytics, financing, stock exchange, etc.

You are somebody who really values being an individual and not really going with the flow. You don't like following the crowd, and you are labeled as the different one both in your friend dynamics and in your family home, and you are okay with that! You're somebody who could be very used to being an independent thinker and having ideas that might seem outlandish to others. This is the land that you thrive in, being different and original! People admire your visionary ways because you inspire others to think outside the box and to think bigger than the small scope that they know. You're very original, and you express your originality through your looks, so you could be the kind of person who takes a lot of fashion risks, has a very specific fast choice that people tend to know you for, or you just truly enjoy switching up your physical expression often. When you were younger, you definitely felt unconventional and might have had unusual interest. You might not have been interested in things that were gender specific, so if you are someone who identifies as a woman, you might not have always been into activities āfor girlsā like playing with dolls, or doing your makeup, etc. The same can be said if you are a man, perhaps you don't like the stereotypical male-dominated sports, or you didn't like playing with toys or things made for boys, etc. Something about you was unique to you as a child, and so you might have had to find community outside of your traditional social circles or outside of school. Some life experiences that you go through could be that because you're so different over time, you build diverse friendships. You might deal with having a group of 10 friends one day, to having two friends the next, and so on and so forth. Lots of different changes come about regarding your friends and the way that they treat you, and the lesson here is to find the balance between individuality and belonging. It's okay to be different; you should not shrink yourself to fit in with other groups of people. However, you must be patient when others don't immediately understand your ideas. Some good career paths for you would involve technology, innovation, creating apps, social issues, community work, advocacy work, a lawyer, or any kind of justice work. Social media will also be very fruitful as well.

You have incredible empathy, and you give off a very gentle energy. When people first meet you, they feel like you are a very soft, kind, and considerate person. You're the person who's always at the right place at the right time, especially when somebody needs comfort, and a lot of people think of you in high regard based on the way that you were there for that. You're also very creative and highly artistic, or using your art as a way to channel your spirituality. You're also somebody who's extremely sensitive to your surroundings, both literally and energetically, and you could be someone of a psychic. When you were younger, you were most definitely seen as a very sensitive kid with a rich imagination. You are very sensitive to the environment you grew up in, as well as sensitive to the tension in your home. You could have a complicated relationship with your father because of this, as he could have been less compassionate and more nitpicky or aggressive in some situations. Nonetheless, you have become somebody who holds a lot of emotional space for others, has learned through emotional experiences, and is somebody who definitely needs to strengthen emotional boundaries or establish healthy boundaries. You could also need a long time to recharge more than others because you're so sensitive to your environment, and because you can pick up on negative energies very easily. It is important to take care of yourself and to maintain a healthy routine when you have this degree because you can definitely absorb other people's emotions and start feeling what other people feel to the point where you're not sure if it's your own feelings or other people's. When you keep a healthy spiritual routine on top of healthy boundaries, you can avoid taking on personalities, roles, and energy that do not belong to you. You are definitely here to help heal others, but it should not be at the expense of your own emotional well-being and empathy. Be mindful of when you are feeling stagnant or apathetic; that is when change is necessary. I've also noticed that you leave a lasting impression on people, even if you're not in their lives for a very long time. People don't forget about the way that you were there for them, the way you show them compassion when others did not, and how you ultimately helped change their lives. Some ideal professions for you would be in the industry of healing, which could be spiritual or psychological healing. A creative job would also be very fruitful, selling your artwork, having your own online store, spiritual boutique, etc., would bring in lots of success. Being a spiritual leader, psychic healer, tarot reader, or somebody comfortable doing behind-the-scenes work, but also suits you well.

You have had a life of change and reinvention and resilience, and it might even show in your energy. Upon first meeting you, people feel like you are very self-confident and unafraid of hard work and being persistent. You could be viewed as quite intense, mature, or strong-willed as well. People admire your strengths a lot because they see that you have grown through challenges that felt above and beyond your control. As a child, you may have felt like you had to grow up in stages rather than steadily, and this is because a lot of what was going on in your life felt like you couldn't control it. This could look like you having to start over by moving several times in your life, starting over at New schools, reinventing your hobbies, your friend groups, or your identity very quickly, etc. As a child, things felt less consistent than in adulthood because you may have felt like you didn't have the time to invest in yourself the way you wanted, your hobbies, or your friends. In your life, you're likely going to reinvent yourself physically multiple times, and you're going to do different things like go after polar opposite careers, achieve your goals more than the average person, and take risks that others might side-eye. People might even feel the need to comment on how often you change as a person. Life has just been so unpredictable that you sort of learn how to adapt to setbacks, and you know how to become who you want to become, regardless of the situation. An important life lesson for you is to learn that change does not mean failure. It's important to let go of what doesn't fit your life and to trust your ability to rebuild if you have been struggling with that. Oftentimes, growth comes after required endings, so it's important to know when it's time to walk away from things that aren't serving you. A good career path for you would involve research, engineering, problem-solving, specialized skills, computer/tech development, online surveying, tech startups, tech recovery business, etc.

People truly find you to be very charming and diplomatic. When people first meet you, you feel like you're very easy-going, friendly, approachable, and well-mannered. Others often admire how well put together you are because you do like to look good! But you're definitely somebody was an inviting energy, and you're somebody who could connect to just about anybody! As a child, you usually were the person to try to keep the peace because you noticed tension between the people in your home. You could have definitely disliked arguments, and unfortunately, that could have been something that happened often, but this led you to learn how to read social cues very early on. You could have unfortunately had to live in survival mode as a child because the adults/parents around you were not very emotionally secure or stable. You are somebody who could become the mediator in your family dynamic, or in your friend group, and this could have been a thing since childhood as well. You attract partners into your life that are really meant to teach you how to balance yourself and how to understand that you can trust somebody else to take on some of the emotional weight. Life lessons come to you strongly when you have to cooperate rather than compete with others, and you might be in situations where you have to build connections with people who are vastly different from you. An important life lesson is that you have to remember you don't have to please everybody and that it is okay to have healthy boundaries for yourself. Sometimes you forget that you don't have to put other people's needs above yours, and that does not make you selfish. You can't pour from an empty cup just like you can't totally deplete yourself to hold somebody else up. Sometimes conflict can be productive; it doesn't always have to be a major point of contention. Beyond that, you are very well-liked, very charming, and very well-mannered. A good career path for you would involve any kind of art, design, beauty, branding, and creative industries. You can find success anywhere, from becoming a beauty influencer to creating nail art and sharing it online, to selling specific handcrafted art pieces. Venus in the 5th House Synastry
When Venus meets the 5th house in synastry, both people could totally crush on each other first, before making a move. The attraction between both people is very obvious, and in your face, there's a very playful and flirtatious energy between both people. The two can naturally bring out each other's flirty, fun, and adventurous side very easily, much more than any other connections. From the beginning of the relationship, things can feel very fun and light and could lead to the two of you getting so close that you have inside jokes, butterflies every time you see each other, and an innate desire to be with one another. The 5th house is all about how we date, flirt, tease, create, and sexually express ourselves, so Venus in this house is a very good place to be. But alas, not everything is as it is cracked up to be, so in this deep dive, we will focus on the odds and ends of this synastry, covering the good, the sus, and the ugly. Please read at your discretion, realize this is not a one-size-fits-all, and enjoy!
Channeled Song:
From Venus' perspective
Typically, the house person is perceived by Venus as super fun. And I don't just mean like a good time; when Venus meets the house person, it's almost like the house person is this super cool person who comes into their life and just saturates it with color. Venus is very, very physically drawn to the house person, and it is more than just because of their physical appearance. I feel like a lot of 5th house analyses like to focus on just the physical attraction because this house does talk about sexual expression, but the kind of physical attraction that Venus has towards the house person is more than just finding them good-looking.
For Venus, it seems like the house person literally embodies their ideal man or woman. It's different in the sense that this person just physically embodies all that Venus likes; this is more like meeting somebody who is the whole package. It's like meeting your favorite fictional character crush irl, if that makes sense. They swoop them off their feet because they could be very romantic with Venus. I feel like Venus is the one who gets swept away pretty quickly in general, just because this person is almost too good to be true. They might not be a cookie-cutter personality type; they could be rough around the edges, but there's something about the house person that is inviting, exciting, and exhilarating. It comes back to the fun of the connection, how the house person can make Venus feel alive, etc.
Venus is like very naturally charmed by the house person, and this is because the house person has a way with words and actions, and how both always seem to line up. Venus can often be showered with affection in the form of gifts, adventures, trips, and luxury from the house person. Venus is going to love the house person's sense of humor, the way that they think, their creativity, their energy and drive, and their passion in life. This could be because the house person embodies a lot of what Venus feels like they lack, and it is very inspiring for Venus to be in a connection like this. Venus also just loves the house person's personality because typically, they are very carefree and easy-going. If Venus is the one who's a little bit more uptight, the house person is the one to find the silver lining in a situation or to crack a joke to ease the tension. The house person, in my opinion, definitely balances out Venus's energy and can really reassure Venus simply with their presence and their natural way of problem-solving.
I feel like when things are good between Venus and the house person, they are great. Venus feels very inspired by the house person and, in return, will support their goals and their dreams. Venus could become the house person's #1 cheerleader and can definitely emotionally support them through anything. I feel this is because Venus just truly enjoys seeing the house person happy and seeing them succeed. I'd say Venus can become very selfless for them.
I also find that Venus is fiercely protective of the house person and vice versa, but if and when there are ever any issues with other people, or anyone is trying to come after the house person, Venus is usually the first one on site defending their person.
Venus becomes a passionate lover when they are with the house person, and again, I don't feel like this is a common thing for venus. Usually, when the Venus person enters a dynamic like this, they're swept away because they haven't felt that sort of electric connection with anyone else. Naturally, it's like a shock to the system, and Venus wants to hold on to that feeling. Venus becomes softer when they're with the house person; they become more elegant, graceful, romantic, and gentle. I really love this synastry because of what it can do for both individuals' self-esteem. These two people build each other up, and from Venus's perspective, Venus starts feeling more confident about themselves and about their sexuality when they're with the house person. Suddenly, undressing themselves in front of another person isn't so daunting or anxiety filled. Venus could genuinely feel like they're at home with the house person, and so naturally, this just makes Venus all mushy inside lol.
Venus will act very differently in this kind of relationship. They will want to genuinely court the house person, and if Venus is a male or masculine-presenting/embodying person, this can actually work out really well because Venus will plan specific dates. Venus will be very attentive with the ways that they court the house person, and that's really important with this kind of connection because Venus isn't really looking to rush out of the dating phase, and it's not because they don't take the house person seriously, it's just because that kind of connection feels too good to be true and too good to change. I will circle back to the idea and concept of change later on, but for now, it is very sweet that Venus likes to take their time when dating the house person because it's all intentional down to the plans, the food, and maybe even the outfits.
Now, onto the murky. Venus can definitely 100% romanticize the house person's energy and efforts. Now, this is not to say that the house person isn't genuine with what they're doing for Venus, but I do think that Venus could have some blinders on when it comes to the house person. Perhaps early in the courting, they get really addicted to the feeling that the house person is giving them, like the admiration, the affirmations/comments, the gifts, etc., and when this image that the house person set out very early on isn't maintained, Venus can sort of paint a picture of the house person that fits their narrative just to keep them around. It's different than the 7th house synastry where Venus romanticizes the soul bond or contract that they have with somebody else. In this house, Venus can romanticize the house person's energy and actions. For example, if the house person was once super attentive in the beginning of the relationship and gave the Venus person all of the attention of the world, gifts, praise and really made an effort making them feel special but then slowly becomes a different person over timeā¦Venus is going to have a really hard time seeing past the grand gestures in the beginning and essentially seeing the person for who they actually are.
Venus wants to hold on to that loving and fun feeling that they get with the house person in the beginning, and it's not always realistic. It's also not always bad, I don't think that the house person is always like the polar opposite of who they set out to beā¦but, Venus can sometimes not always see the house person very fairly, but instead compares them to who they were in the beginning of the relationship, which still isn't fair to both people. Things get murky here because not only does Venus romanticize these exciting moments, but they sort of project this personality onto the house person that might not even be really who they are. I mentioned change earlier in the post, and I said I would cycle back to it because change in this synastry. It is sort of like a double-edged sword. Without change, a lot of bitterness and resentment can be built underneath the surface. This is because Venus might genuinely not accept the house person for who they become after a while of knowing them.
It's not always intentional, but sometimes Venus prefers the person that they met in the beginning over the person that the house person becomes. This could be due to a lot of things, but I have typically found that this is because things move very quickly in the beginning, and they both don't really give each other the chance to get to know one another, so the standard that they set in the connection could be set prematurely and they begin to hold each other to that standard over time if that makes sense. It's not fair to other people. However, because of this, Venus can fall in love with experiences that they've had with the house person rather than the person themselves. I'd say that this is a lesser case scenario, of course, but this could also look like Venus staying with the house person because of these experiences and because of the promise of having more of them.
Now, onto the ugly. I'll be frank, Venus can stay longer than they should. And this is, of course, for a lot of different things. Typically, when there is this synastry, there is also a pretty high likelihood that there are children involved, or children can be a serious point of conversation. In a bad manifestation, children could bind two people together in a very unfulfilling and very stagnant relationship. Sometimes this could look like having kids with a partner that you never marry and maybe don't even want to get married to. This could look like being unwilling to leave a marriage due to the way it would affect your child's dynamics. It could look like bitterness towards each other regarding parenting, but otherwise having a very passionate relationship, or vice versa. And in my personal opinion, the consequences of this couple's actions could be a little bit more impactful because typically children are involved or family is involved in some kind of way. If there are no children involved, Venus could stay because they've known the house person for x amount of years and have had x amount of experiences with them and just generally aren't ready for change.
Also, Venus might just be attached to how the house person makes them feel rather than who the house person actually is, and they are blinded to the fact that they do this very early on. This is also sort of a stereotype of this synastry, but if Venus gets bored and excitement dies down in a relationship, they might seek āstimulationā elsewhere. Sometimes it's with other people, but most of the time it's just with another distraction. This could be anything from spending money they don't have on frivolous things to gambling, to excessive drinking or smoking, to going out at an excessive rate, etc. This of course, will lead to its own problems. I think sometimes Venus can confuse romance for novelty, and that can be very dangerous.
From the house person's perspective
Venus has a way of lighting a fire under the house person's ssa lol. Venus makes the house person feel very naturally attractive and sexy and desired, which can be very new to the house person because maybe they don't feel this way about themselves, or they weren't shown this kind of attention from other people. Either way, the house person feels a deep recognition when they meet Venus, and it's for the things that they feel like other people aren't really looking at. So, for example, the Venus person can have something very specific that they like about the house person's physical features and attributes, like maybe the house person wears glasses all the time, and Venus loves that. Venus will then always hype up the house person and encourage them to wear glasses and tell them how beautiful or handsome they look, etc.
The house person most certainly loves receiving compliments from Venus because they feel very genuine and sincere, and in return, the house person's confidence is boosted. House person could honestly feel very seen by Venus in little ways that might not be a big deal to the Venus person, but mean everything to the house person. For instance, Venus can find them very funny or really enjoy their sense of humor or their quirks. It could be the same qualities that maybe the house person has been bullied about in the past. Venus will most definitely help the house person heal some insecurities, especially regarding their self-confidence and their self-image because Venus genuinely loves the dorkiest most ridiculous things about the house person and the house person feels that to their core.
Around Venus, the house person will feel like they can stand a little taller and be a little more confident because they've finally found somebody that makes them feel like they matter and they have value, and that's things that they're passionate about are noticed.
Over time, the house person will definitely view the Venus person like their favorite person and want to spend an excessive amount of time with the Venus person. Everybody should be mindful of this, but specifically with this synastry ⦠love bombing here is a thing. But I will save that for later. Emotions run very strong and passionate between both people, and you can even find yourself talking to the meanest person for hours about your life, your childhood, your future, your family, the things that make your heart race, what you want 10 years from now, etcā¦it does seem that a lot of what drives this passionate fuel between both of you is the idea of a future, and a future that seems promising.
I find that the house person might unintentionally open up to Venus very easily, and it is because Venus brings on such a welcoming and warm vibe to them that the house person just feels safe to share their insecurities, their hurt, and their pain. This is the kind of synastry where both people can have a lot of conversations about their childhoods and any childhood wounds that have come along the way. In a lot of ways, it feels like Venus was āsentā to the house person to heal certain childhood wounds of theirs, unintentionally, and they most certainly do.
On the subject of healing childhood wounds.. Venus has a very natural way of making the house person feel comfortable, embracing their true interests and the hobbies that they feel like they have had to hide in the past. Venus will instead, for example, invest in these hobbies to support the healing that they bring or just to see them happy. I feel that the house person could sometimes be a bit uptight, and Venus has a very easy way to bring out their fun, expressive, and childlike nature.
Now, for the murky. Because Venus activates the person's 5th house, the house person gets easily caught up in the fantasy of what could be with Venus. The problem is that the house person might be enjoying the attention of Venus so much that they're avoiding the practical problems going on in the relationship. For instance, the house person might not even realize that they are enabling some bad behaviors, both in the relationship and in Venus come or in themselves. For example, because they both feel so comfortable having a good time together, this is the couple that will focus more energy on having fun versus getting things done. So they might bond over going out to dinner every night, going on excursions every week, playing video games excessively etc that will lead to them then avoiding getting housework done, getting important paperwork done, and in the worst case scenario, you can start getting behind on responsibilities because the two of you spend so much time having a good time rather than being serious. With the house person, I definitely feel like you can become more aware of what's going on and still enable the behavior.
The thing that I find to be sort of a yellow flag with this synastry is that the relationship can become heavily fueled by excitement and validation from one another. At the beginning of the connection, it is sort of understandable to have these feelingsā¦but, over time, the two people should be able to grow together and not need such validation from one another because they trust each other. I would say with this synastry, that need for validation doesn't really go away. Venus might be outright and seek validation from the house person by trying to win them over through love, sex, gifts, etc. The house person seeks validation more subtly, and this can look like trying to become somebody different that they feel Venus actually wants, changing their personality to match the projection that Venus has of them, etc. Things get murky because it's sort of like two people are trying to āpleaseā the otherās projected version of themselves that they have of one another.
Now, as much as synastry can be really great and full of love and happiness, there are also some bad aspects. The biggest one in my opinion, is the resistance to change, and a strong second would be the overwhelming resentment that one or both people could develop over time, specifically if these issues of stagnation, distrust, or need for validation aren't resolved. Both people might get very comfortable with the way that things are and just outright refuse to change, and it can be a pride thing. The house person might feel a little suffocated by Venus's habits, but might feel like they don't know how to get out of the cycle that they are stuck in with Venus. The house person may honestly be more aware of how both of them affect one another and how they're not really growing as a couple, which would then build the deep resentment within the house person.
Venus also has a really strong hold on the way the house person feels about themselves and their self-confidence. This is because Venus has filled their head up with so many compliments and affirmations that they naturally want more of that, but just like they can build the house person up, they could also tear them down with their words as well. It's not the same as having Venus in 3H Synastry, where words could be leathal, but it is similar in a sense that words will sting and that underlying truths will be revealed sometimes in arguments or verbal spats. Unfortunately I also see that the house person could feel like Venus takes advantage of them in some sort of way, and this could be through finances, energy / time, or creative property. The house person can eventually start feeling opposite of what Venus essentially made them feel in the beginning. Suddenly everything that Venus once loved about the house person can become a nightmare to them. Every positive word or bit of advice, or support that the house person has ever shown Venus can be turned into venom. When things are really bad and resentment is obvious and the connection, the house person can definitely feel like Venus is intentionally trying to hurt them and vice versa. This all usually happens from the lack of communication when things go wrong. This is of course an extreme example, but if connections end with this synastry, and it's not involving children, it is usually involving overly triggering each other's childhood wounds and just not being able to cope as a couple.
I do you want to end on a high note here! This is still, in my opinion, a favorable synastry for two people to have! When both people are mature and know how to deal with their baggage, they can have a very healthy and happy marriage! I know that it is commonly known that 5th house synastry isn't super long-lasting, but given the reasons I mentioned, I think it's pretty obvious as to why this is a stereotype. However, it's not true for everybody! This can be a very passionate love of yours. Consider the signs that are involved, other synastry involved, aspects, etc. When things are hard, they are confusing for both people, and instead of coming together to figure it out, they will resist one another. But when things are good, this person is your soulmate! They are the person you have babies with! They are the ones that you bury your soul into, and you carve your name into their heart, that kind of love. This synastry isn't the synastry for āperfect lovers,ā but it can be the synastry for imperfect love. You could learn a lot from one another, and with the right amount of patience, love, and understanding, you could have a very prosperous relationship!
Please let me know what you think about this by leaving a comment and we posting this I highly appreciate it!

The 12th House & The Types of Dreams You Have
Dreams are one of the ways your subconscious communicates with you. While not every dream has a deep spiritual meaning, the 12th house is often associated with the hidden mind, intuition, symbolism, and the things that we process when we're asleep. The sign ruling your 12th house can add its own flavor to your dream world, influencing the themes, emotions, and experiences that show up again and again. Here's a look at the kinds of dreams you may be more likely to have based on the sign ruling your 12th house.āØš«§
Channeled Song:
Aries 12H
You tend to dream about your traumatic past a lotā¦in this life and in the previous one. Past life dreams could look like w*r cr*mes, abrasive att*cks, and vi*lence. You might find the nature of your dreams feels very personal and very direct, almost like you're not only meant to have the dream, but you're meant to experience it. This could look like having a lot of point-of-view dreams, and out of every sign, I think Aries suffers from this the most. You could have a lot of dreams where you're running to a specific location or from somebody; you could be chasing someone or being chased, escaping something, fighting back, etc. You can dream about competing against a rival or just competitive situations in general. Even if nothing scary is happening, it could just feel like an urgency to get somewhere else in your dream, or maybe an urgency to get out of the dream. Your dreams are also sometimes aligned with what's currently going on in society or what's currently stressing you out and your personal life. For instance, you could have a dream directly mirroring what happened in your waking life, so if you fought that day, you could have a dream about that exact fight that same night. I've also noticed that you could have accident-related dreams, which could honestly be a bit terrifying, because you could literally have a dream of you being in an accident, or if youāre witnessing one. You may also wake up from your dreams with a headache, specifically if your dreams carry on for longer than expected.
Taurus 12H
You tend to be a very sensory dreamer, so a lot of your dreams could be more about material things like food, physical things, touch, smells, etc. Sometimes you can wake up craving something that you had in your dream, like food, a specific drink, a certain scent/perfume, etc. lol, you could also dream about specific songs as well. Your dreams could be about comfort, luxury living, money, etc. You could be the kind of person to dream about being rich lol; these dreams are tied to your past life. You can dream about Parenthood as well, and most definitely about love. On the negative side, you can have dreams about loss; you could have pretty aggressive dreams about losing your property. You can also have humiliation- ritual like dreams. Similar to having a dream about getting in front of a crowd only to realize that you're naked, but way worse. These are the events that actually did happen in your past and still haunt you in your waking life. You also have dreams about betrayal, specifically in love, and how past romantic partners could have disappointed you. You might think you have gotten over something in your day-to-day life, but your subconscious will bring it back up if you truly have not let it go. I've also noticed that you could dream about losing something really valuable to you, and not just something that comes with a big price point⦠something that you have attached a lot of emotional meaning to.
Gemini 12H
You're a chaotic dreamer; your dreams are literally all over the place. The content of the dream switches up a lot because you do have a very vivid imagination, so you could be dreaming about things that go beyond anyone else's imagination. But what I commonly find with this placement is that people typically have dreams where information is shared with them. For example, you could have a dream about a random conversation that might seem relevant in the moment but then end up being very significant in your life in the future. You could have dreams about receiving a phone call from somebody from your past, or from somebody who has passed away. You may dream about old classmates showing up with a message for you. Now, everything I just mentioned could happen in the same dream because of how chaotic your dreaming patterns are and how there are endless plot twists. Iād pay attention to your dreams, though, because I do feel that youāre meant to hear something important from them. You have very inspiring dreams that could compel you to create art from them. You might get pieces of inspirationālike lyrics, novel ideas, or artistic inspirationāfrom your dreams. The problem you might deal with the most is how quickly you forget your dreams.
Cancer 12H
You dream about the woman in your life a lot, in both good and bad dreams. There is somebody, specifically, that you might dream about who haunts you. You dream about motherhood; you can dream about your children a lot, tooāthe children you have, the children you will have, or the children you had in a past life, etc. Your dreams are very psychic and intuitive, and deeply emotional. You sometimes carry the emotional weight of the dream into your daily life, due to the heavy nature of your psyche and emotional world. You can dream about your family a lot as well, and some people might find you to be like the psychic of the family because you could dream about somebody and then something happens to them, for example. You could dream a lot about your childhood home as well, and any memories attached to it. You may have dreams about important conversations or emotional moments with your mom. You dream about the life she could have had, or the life you could have had with her. Your dreams definitely serve the purpose of reminding you that you still harbor hurt, pain, or resentment over a situation.
Leo 12H
I find that your dreams are a bit cinematic? lol, like even when they are not super dramatic, there's always a little pizzazz to your dream that just really reminds you that you're having a dream. For example, you are a very vivid dreamer, so your dreams could feel more like movie scenes. You might know all the characters, you might know the script, and everybody might act accordingly⦠almost to the point of confusion. Your dreams feel very real until something goes terribly wrong, and usually the plot twist is very dramatic and maybe even a little funny. You can dream about being watched both in a non-creepy and very creepy way. I've noticed this looks like people being watched due to fame or performing on a stage, and people being watched by a stalker or admirer/obsessed person. You have dreams about expressing yourself very dramatically, about being who you are to your core. You also have dreams about children, and if you have Karma With children, you will dream about them more often. You are the kind of person to wake up from a dream about your child, longing for that child and genuinely being sad that they aren't real.
Virgo 12H
You honestly don't get a lot of rest to have very regular dreams, or if you do, they don't always feel very eventful or outside of the norm. But this is because you tend to carry the weight of your day into your subconscious, and so even when you're trying to rest, you might not feel very rested. Your dreams could reflect that through nightmares that lead to headaches when you wake up. You could have dreams about being late somewhere, forgetting something important, or letting people down. You tend to have very burdensome dreams, either because your dreams are literally a burden to your life at some point, or because you dream about the burdens you carry in your day-to-day life. You could dream about missing bills, running out of something important, losing all of your money, or being unstable, etc. On the flip side, you could have dreams where you are helping other people, or where an angelic presence enters your life and helps you. You could have dreams where communication with somebody from your past is clear, healthy, and healing. Your dreams could be healing as well, and you can sometimes gain closure from them. Sometimes, your subconscious will use dreams to process your daily anxiety.
Libra 12H
You definitely tend to dream about other people. You dream about crushes, exes, current partners, spouses, etc. You dream about people who made an impact on you, and sometimes you even dream about alternate endings or paths that you could have taken with this person. It is kind of sad, in a sense, that your dreams feel very hopelessly romantic, very dark rom-com, and very emotionally twisted sometimes. Your dreams reflect your desire for truth, for love, and for equality. Because of this, a lot of your dreams could look like coming to a resolution with somebody that you've had a problem with for a long time. It could look like you resolving an issue that has been tough in your life for a long time. You may dream about soulmates that you have in this lifetime, or in a previous life. Your dreams can be very beautifulāvery vivid and scenicāand very Venusian. You can dream about traveling with your lover, fine dining in France on a Friday evening, honeymooning in Italy, slow dancing under starlight, etc. Yeah, sometimes your dreams give Hallmark Channel, but it is sweet because it's what your subconscious truly wants. On the flip side, you could have dreams about people intentionally humiliating you. You could have dreams about people bullying you, attacking your character, attacking your looks or your sense of style, etc. To be honest, your nightmares are definitely the prom scene in Carrie when they pour blood all over her as a gag. Your dreams might not be that dramatic exactly, but the humiliation could feel very similar. You could have dreams about past instances where you were the target of bullying. If you have bad dreams, it's typically about the way that other people have made you question your self-worth. You also have dreams about mean girls/guys sometimes lol. You can also have dreams about confronting people that youāve wanted to confront for a while.
Scorpio 12H
You definitely have the most intense dreams, and they are always very dramatic. You could be prone to nightmares, sleep paralysis, or night terrors. You could have a lot of dreams about literal d*ath, or someone dy*ng, but you could also have a lot of dreams connected to your father as well. Your dreams are heavy for a lot of reasons. For starters, they are very aggressive, and you might feel like youāre in the center of a battlefield against an enemy that you canāt even put a face to. The scorpionic energy here is hidden and shows up in detrimental ways in your dreams. You could feel haunted in your dreams, or you could have dreams where you are literally being hunted. You have dreams where you mistrust people, or you could have dreams where the person you trust the most betrays you in a very volatile way. Iāve also noticed that you have dreams that are very fleshed out, but what sticks with you the most is the emotional impact of the dream. Nonetheless, your dreams can also show you whatās going on beneath the surface, and because this is a water-ruled house for you, your dreams could deliver psychic messages to your subconscious. Your dreams could be warnings of future betrayal, past betrayal, or a betrayal that has yet to be resolved. If you arenāt seeing something in your day-to-day life, your dreams will reveal it, and it will be obvious in a way. So if you are concerned about somebody, for instance, and you suddenly dream about them stealing from you, I think itās safe to say that youāre suspicious of that personāmaybe accurately. You dream about that, you dream about betrayal, and you dream about misfortune specifically when you are feeling out of control. You might find that your most difficult dreams surface when you are stuck in a bad situation, feel little control over your situation, or are in the middle of a massive lifestyle change.
Sagittarius 12H
You tend to have insanely euphoric dreams. You are the kind of dreamer who can reach higher realms of consciousness; you might even be very skilled at dream hopping. There's something to be learned from your dreams, so I think it's a good idea to take notes of the very vivid dreams that you could have. You are the kind of person who can astral project pretty easily due to your ability of being able to reach higher realms. You might dream about traveling; this could be world travel or traveling out of the universe. You are not bound by any restrictions in your subconscious. Your dreams might be very quest or puzzle-based, always wanting a challenge even in your dreams. You could also have a lot of school dreams, specifically your time in higher ed or college. You can dream about college mistakes you've made, or situations where you felt the most alive. This placement truly reminds me of the scene in The Perks of Being a Wallflower when Sam stands in the back of the pickup truck with her arms fully out as they're driving through the tunnel with "Heroes" playing. Your dreams could be exactly that. You also have dreams of being a teacher or motivational speaker on a stage in front of hundreds of people waiting to hear your speech. You could dream about making a difference in somebody's life; you can dream about being a hero and saving people, and a lot of your dreams could be about the ways that you were courageous and conquered the day, rather than gave up. A lot of your dreams could be about your past life too, and thatās how you were both the student and the teacher.
Capricorn 12H
You have a lot of rough dreams, and it's always involve you being too hard on yourself. You are even your own worst enemy in the dream state, as your dreams could remind you of embarrassing moments, moments you feel you failed, moments of weakness, etc. You could dream a lot about your father, dealings with him, old conversations or moments that felt detrimental or emotional, etc. You could have dreams about having courage in moments of weakness. You could be the kind of person who has nightmares or dreams where it feels like responsibility has fallen in your lap, in a very dramatic way. You might also dream about your career a lot, and any failures/shortcomings you fear having one day. You could dream about a leader or authority correcting you, ruining you, or tainting your reputation. Your dreams could really demonstrate the fears you have been trying to hide or run away from; it's like you cannot escape them, even in your dream state, because you are meant to overcome these fears. It is these fears that are holding you back. You could also have dreams where you are relaxed, somewhere away from the chaos. Much like other earth-ruled 12H individuals, you dream and yearn for a break, and this will slip into your dream state.
Aquarius 12H
Your dreams are... kinda weird? You dream about things you try not to think about because they make you feel different, and maybe not in a good way. You have very random dreams about very random situations with extremely random people. You can have very futuristic types of dreams, dreams that feel euphoric or dystopian. What is interesting about your dreams is the fact that they can correlate with your emotions and paint a very dramatic picture. Your dreams might make you feel a little detached, or while you are dreaming, there's a certain distance, and things feel out of reach. Your dreams can also end on dramatic cliffhangers, or just before things get really juicy. Your dreams could be full of scandals, affairs, affairs in foreign places or vacation spots, a new and improved world, etc. You might even have dreams about random inventions, or an idea that could be turned into something more serving for the collective. Speaking of, your dreams can feel a bit prophetic regarding the current spiritual collective climate. You could also have dreams where you are not involved at all, but more so watching from afar. Your nightmares may be surrounding having your freedom restricted, being arrested/detained, taken/kidnapped, wrongfully persecuted, etc. Sometimes this is due to paranoia or day-to-day stressors, and sometimes this is psychic flashes into your past life where you may have lived a life of detainment, false accusations/persecution, and social ostracism.
Pisces 12H
Your dreams could truly feel boundaryless, and it is really tough to have this placement sometimes. Your dreams are very symbolic, so if you ever expect to have a straightforward dream, good luck to you! You are more likely to have to pick apart a weird and emotionally symbolic dream than you are to have a dream that addresses the problem head-on. Your subconscious will remind you of the things that you are avoiding, and this can be through fear-based dreams. You could have a lot of dreams about escaping something, and a lot of the time these dreams are linked to your escapist tendencies. You may dream about the ocean, large bodies of water, water rising at rapid rates, skyscrapers being surrounded by water, etc. You, much like Sagittarius 12H, can't dream about otherworldly landscapes, otherworldly oceans and creatures, magic and magical realms, etc. You can literally escape to another universe through your subconscious because there are no boundaries when it comes to this placement. Some people are astral projectors, and then there are people whose 12th house is ruled by Pisces, and these people, like you, are very skilled and naturally gifted with this ability to energetically travel through their subconscious. You will have a lot of dreams about passed-over loved ones. What is interesting about these dreams is that they are very mundane, so for instance, you could have a dream about having a cup of coffee with your grandma who has passed, and the conversation and energy in the room will be filled with so much love, familiarity, and happiness that you won't even realize that she passed. Your dreams, those specifically dealing with the afterlife, are typically very gentle and very warm. You could also find that your ancestors communicate with you more easily in the dream state, and you could be the kind of person who could telepathically or clairaudiently hear spirits or energy as you fall asleep. Your dreams can be very chaotic too, and when they are, they are typically about the worst-case scenario. You have very apocalyptic dreams, or you could dream about the apocalypse. You have dreams about natural disasters and chaos out of your control; you dream about having no boundaries or having no limits. You dream about betrayal that led to a spiritual awakening. You dream about enemies that disguise themselves as healers, mentors, or guides. Sometimes, your dreams will warn you about somebody wanting to contact you. You are the kind of person to dream about somebody and then hear from them shortly after.

Mars in the First House Synastry
When Mars makes contact with someone's first house, this is the kind of connection that is felt almost immediately. This is because the two people become hyper-aware of each other, usually upon first meeting. The way that I like to look at it is one person entering a room full of people and only noticing the other, like there is some sort of glistening glow to them that makes them stand out from the rest. The attraction here is very strong, even if it's not necessarily a romantic connection. Even in friendships, one of the people might be very dynamic to the other, and they might cling to them. This connection is definitely chemistry-heavy, and the two people will be magnetically glued to each other most of the time. In this deep dive, I will be focusing on both perspectives, giving you insight into the good, the sus, and the ugly. We will see how these two deeply impact and affect each other's lives. Let's get into it.
From the House Person's Perspective
In the beginning, the Mars person is definitely going to grab their attention right away. I mean, they are going to be incredibly hot to the house person! If you can flesh out your most IDEAL physical type, I would say that it's the Mars person. I feel this is what really captures the house person's attention. So, honestly, I wouldn't say that right away the house person feels very deeply for Mars. It could definitely start off on a very superficial foundation, as in, the sexual attraction between the two of you will definitely be the driving point in the beginning of your connection.
When you first meet them, you might feel a desire to really chase them or earn their attention/affection in some way. I've seen this play out in different ways, but what I've noticed the most is that the house person will pay more attention to their appearance, maybe dress a little bit more provocatively around the Mars person, be a little bit more expressive or outgoing, really just try different ways to get the Mars person's attention because they know that Mars is like a hot tamale in the neighborhood lol. The house person feels like if they don't make themselves āknownā to the Mars person, then Mars is going to get bored and move on from them so this is really what makes the house person essentially put more effort into themselves and into making themselves somebody worthy of Marsā attention.
Now, it's not just about the house person changing themselves for the affection of mars, the house person just genuinely becomes more aware of themselves around mars. For instance, the house person might realize that they give off a certain body language when Mars comes around, they might become more anxious or a little bit more nervous, or they might get butterflies around Mars when they otherwise would not feel that way with other people. This is because Mars can make the house person feel very seen in the beginning, and that could be enticing and daunting depending on how much self-confidence the house person has or how many insecurities the house person has.
So, because Mars shines a light on the house person's unspoken body language and gestures, the house person could catch themselves standing up a little straighter around Mars, or acting a little bolder around Mars. Sometimes, the house person could come off as a little defensive too, depending on the nature of the connection.
The first house rules first reactions, so the house person could definitely be very reactionary towards Mars. The Mars person can make the house person blush more, laugh more, get more angry, etc. It really does not matter what the intention is; it seems that the house person has a very strong reaction to the Mars person's actions, good or bad. Now in a good way, the Mars person can definitely make a house person feel more energized being around them because the Mars person will inspire them to take action over their lives in some kind of way. This could be through changing their lifestyle, getting healthier, changing their professional path, starting new projects, standing up for themselves, etc. In the healthiest connection, the Mars person inspires positive, WANTED, and healthy change in the house person's life. The Mars person will definitely help the house person develop more confidence.
This kind of relationship will definitely make the house person feel alive, excited, and passionate about life when they are with the Mars person. Mars helps them become fearless, and courageous, and actually take initiative over the things that have been holding them back. They are a great motivator in a relationship, and they can be very selfless when helping you. Mars could come to you wanting to find solutions to your problems, and this can make somebody be very action-oriented when it comes to you. I will say, some emotional sensitivity can be lacking when it comes to problem solvingā¦the Mars person will definitely want to find the quickest, most efficient solution rather than crying about it, but I mean, they get things done! They inspire, and they don't let you fail when they love you.
Now, things tend to get a little murky because over time, Mars becomes less helpful and a little bit moreā¦opinionated, judgmental, and a little pushy. This is because Mars will never NOT want to move forward, aiming for better on a personal level and in their relationships. The house person can definitely feel like there is a competitive nature to mars, like Mars is trying to either compete with them subtly or compete with other relationships. Because of this, the house person could feel very pressured to perform or to be somebody who they're really not. They could feel overly criticized by mars, and feel like Mars casts too much judgment on their personal preferences, how they dress, how they act, etc.
The problem that I find here is that the Mars person might be overly critical of the house person and then claim that it's out of love, or that they just want what's best for them, but over time, the house person is going to feel like that's not true and like the Mars person just wants them to be somebody else basically. I also feel like Mars can just trigger a certain level of aggressiveness and competition in the house person that just should not be a thing when you're dealing with a romantic or even regular intimate relationship. A trusting connection should not be one where one person feels like they have to one up the other, or were they feel like they can't just be themselves to be accepted but yet that tends to happen here.
Now, onto the real ugly. The house person can feel like the Mars person constantly critiques who they are and it feels very invasive to them. The house person will definitely start feeling like they are not enough and that it really doesn't matter how much effort they put into themselves, who they are is not really who Mars wants. I've also noticed that fights and disagreements become very volatile and very personal, so instead of saying something like āI don't like what you didā, Mars will say, āI don't like who you areā which makes it very personal to the house person and it makes them question everything that they've known about Mars and if they were even genuine in the beginning. The house person can even become verbally aggressive towards the Mars person as a result of a trigger. Maybe the house person is a very passive and quiet person, but after so much dismay and trouble, the house person will definitely start mirroring some of those verbal spats back at the Mars person, which just escalates issues even further.
From the Mars Person's Perspective
Similar to the house person, I would say that the Mars person notices them almost immediately, but just in a different way. Mars can notice the house person much before the house person notices them, but they could just be watching them for a while. The feeling that I get here is that it's almost like Mars is hunting and the house person is their prey, just based on how mars can be so head on about pursuing the house person.
In the beginning, Mars will notice their physical appearance first; they will think that they are gorgeous/handsome. They'll notice their walk, the way that they speak, the way they conduct themselves in public, if they have confidence, etc. The house person becomes somebody that Mars feels like they need to engage with, whether that's flirting, competing, protecting, or challenging the house person.
The Mars person can definitely want things to move very quickly; they are the ones to initiate conversation, initiate dates, talk etc. This is because watching from the sidelines is only so fun for so long; they only watch for as long enough to really get to know the house person before they approach them. But, they will not want to wait around and let fate happen. It might even feel like the relationship tends to move forward because of the Mars person's effort and energy.
Mars feels very desired by the house person too. The house person accepts Mars for who they are, faults and all! Mars feels desired by the house person, admired, wanted. In a way, the house person definitely makes Mars feel like the hottest one in the room just based on how they look at them, how they compliment them, how they make them feel, etc. So naturally, this desire and this very public affection that the house person gives the Mars person makes the Mars person fall head over heels for the house person 100%. Imagine having your ego stroked every time you walk in a room, but not only that, it's by the person who loves you the absolute most
Part of what Mars might want is to be an influence on the house person, and that's because they truly love them and feel like they are destined to reach their greatest potential. They see who the house person is on the inside, even if they themselves have blind spots to those things. Mars is the kind of person who wants to help the house person embody confidence, chase their dreams, accomplish their goals, and just go after better things. I'd say that when this is a healthy relationship, and Mars has good intentions, they are truly genuinely coming from a place of love and a place of healing in their own way. When you love somebody, it's only natural to want to be their biggest cheerleader and help them move along in life. This is very much seen with this Synastry.
Marsā natural instinct is to push, and even with good intentions, it's not always perceived that way. But nonetheless, Mars might really just think that they know what is best for the house person. Mars also has very protective instincts when it comes to the house person, particularly if / when the house person has a hard time standing up for themselves. Mars is always like the first one to throw themselves into the fighting ring over any disagreements that the house person might come across with other people. The problem is that Mars might sometimes want to fight the house person's battles, which in a sense could be innocent, but sometimes it's just not necessary and a little boundary-pushing. This is because the house person still very much wants to feel like they have some kind of self-agency, and when the Mars person is always trying to handle any mishaps or correct any wrongs or just prevent any issues in the house person's life, things get really complicated. The Mars person definitely becomes irritated when people try to attack or mess with the house person, and they will fiercely protect them even if it is warranted or not.
In a healthy dynamic, Mars feels inspired by the house person too, and this is because the house person's identity really excites them. Perhaps the house person is who they have always wanted to be in some sense, or the house person is who they've always wanted to be with. This will make Mars feel alive. Mars person definitely admires the house person's strengths, identity, and way of being. The house person will definitely pour into Mars as well, by supporting them and encouraging them to chase after things in life that they've always wanted. I feel that when things are healthy, it is certainly a mutual give-and-take of emotional support.
Now, things get a little sus over time because there are way too many misunderstandings. Like I mentioned from the house person's perspective, they might not really appreciate all of what Mars is doing for them. They might find it to be a form of control in some kind of way. They might feel like Mars doesn't really see them for who they are. The miscommunication is that Mars will function out of wanting to move forward with the house person, so they can be a bit pushy, but it's more about them wanting to grow with the house person than it is wanting to tear them apart. Things get lost in translation, though, and it doesn't help that Mars is naturally outspoken, aggressive, clumsy, and even sometimes abrasive. All of these factors contribute to misunderstandings.
Mars might be unintentionally bulldozing the house person. They could totally think that they are being motivating to the house person, but in the house person's eyes, Mars is being critical. Mars could think that they're trying to be helpful; the house person could think that they are trying to change them. Neither side is wrong necessarily. But the biggest problem is that Mars sees love as action, and the first house equates identity with acceptance, so typically the house person has a hard time seeing Mars' aggressive actions as love.
I've noticed that the Mars person tends to get annoyed with the house person due to their pace. Sometimes the house person is a little bit slower moving when getting things done, and I think that makes the Mars person a little bit uncomfortable. That is because Mars is used to fast-paced movement forward, and the house person might not feel the need to rush through life. This is definitely a point of contention in the connection, though pretty minor. Mars can become a little aggressive and push the house person to get things done without really considering that they might just move at a different pace and that they are different in general.
I've also noticed that Mars can get a little annoyed when the house person switches things up, or changes up the routine without them involved somehow. This is because Mars can sort of feel entitled to them and their time and what they do in their spare time. Mars is definitely the kind of person who wants to be included in on everything that the house person does; they want to be attached at the hip. Whether or not the house person wants this is debatable.
Now let's talk about the ābadā. The 1st house represents autonomy over a person, and with Mars in this house, Mars might try to unconsciously control the house person and what they do, how they express themselves, where they go, etc. It's not always a healthy dynamic. If Mars is kind of on the immature side, they will do whatever they can to āfixā the house person. Good intentions are not, this is going to make the house person feel evaluated and not really valued as a partner but rather seen as a project that needs fixing all the time. Because Mars is involved, this could also indicate that things can get physically violent if boundaries are unchecked and not respected. If things escalate to physical violence, it is usually because of jealousy. I will not say who is the violent one and who is not because the role can be changed in this dynamic. Anger can escalate very quickly on Mars' end, though, especially when there's misunderstanding and not enough clear communication. Small agreements typically lead to big arguments that could last for hours. And sometimes, out of her, Mars can definitely say some things that you can't take back. Because this is the first house, these things are typically very accusatory, very personal, and very harsh.
Mars in the first house synastry is never going to be an ordinary connection; it is always going to be fiery, passionate, sexy, highly sex driven, and fun. But it is also very dramatic, angsty, dangerous, and reckless. These two people can burn out just as quick as that flame was lit, just due to the nature of the energy involved. It's not always doom and gloom; different modalities and different signs for Mars, or the ruling planet of the first house will definitely manifest a bit differently. Over time, the biggest lesson of this synastry is learning the difference between inspiring someone's growth and trying to reshape their identity. But you must learn how to accept each other entirely for who they are, and not want to change each other for there to be long-term happiness.

Synastry Aspects that Give Me the ICK
DISCLAIMER:
These are MY opinions from observations and reading charts. I am not claiming that all connections with these synastry aspects are doomed or icky, its just an opinion. Okay, enjoy!
TW: SA / verbal / mental ab*use mentioned
Post inspired by this very catchy song:
Sun conjunct Pluto specifically in the 8H
I think I'm a little biased here because I am an 8th stellium with several planets conjuncting Pluto, so I'm kind of familiar with this energy, and I just don't like it 𤣠I mean, it is cute if you're going for that very novelesque fantasy of the overly attached boyfriend or slightly obsessed girlfriend; then fine. But in my opinion, this promotes an unnecessarily intense relationship, and very quickly. The Pluto person is usually the one to become fascinated with the Sun person, to the point of wanting to know everything about them and pretty much be in their mind 24/7. They want to understand everything about them but the problem is that they also want to know their secrets and want to get in their business and it's too invasive. The sun person ends up feeling overly exposed, and that could feel very violating. I don't know; I just don't like it simply for the fact that there's so much black-and-white thinking involved in this connection that it's just not healthy. Like they can go from loving each other completely to hating each other entirely, and that's just not a thing for me.
Neptune conjunct/square mercury in the 3H/7H/9H
I don't like these aspects simply because there is confusion in areas where there really shouldn't be, especially in the context of a relationship. Specifically in the context of a romantic relationship. When Neptune is conjunct or Square someone's Mercury in the 7th house, this could look like confusion about what the relationship even is. One day the person is very clear and honest about communication, and the next day they are flaky or just quiet entirely. Lots of mental/emotional and mind games around how each other feels about one another, as well as how they feel about being in a relationship with one another. Deception is also a possibility here as well.
Neptune conjunct/Square mercury in 3H
This is a hard one because both people might feel like they have to constantly read between the lines when speaking to the other person, because communication never really feels straightforward. Or, if something important needs to be said, they usually hear it from a third party or from somebody else, so they might struggle with being direct with one another. It's too many misunderstandings in my opinion. Both people could have a tendency to lie and use others, I guess, to pedal their lies. It's icky imo because communication almost feels intentionally murky, and that's because these two can be verbally aggressive with one another, sort of like they want to incite a verbal reaction out of each other. Toxic af when it's bad.
Neptune conjunct/Square mercury in 9H
This synastry seems tooā¦emotionally manipulative to deal with in my opinion. I definitely understand the appeal of this synastry because, well, for starters, the conversations are immediately very deep and even otherworldly. You might be talking to this person about things that you feel weird even thinking about, especially about spirituality or taboo subjects, but you feel comfortable doing so. The problem that I find is that one person tends to be more of the philosopher or spiritual one in the connection, and they might be very preachy, but over time what they are saying lacks a lot of substance, or they're very hypocritical. For instance, they might have these ārulesā about life that are kind of condescending, and they don't even follow them themselves. I think issues arise with this synastry because one person really is all talk and no action, and over time the other person becomes disillusioned about them. It's like being sold a great image of a relationship just for that illusion to be shattered over time. There's also a lot of love bombing here.
Pluto or Moon in 12H synastry
I don't like this, nope nope nope. Let's start with Pluto. It really does not matter what kind of relationship you have with this person; if your Pluto lands in their 12th house or vice versa, you are dealing with somebody who will literally never leave you alone. Even if you are not in contact with these people, they will somehow try to insert themselves into your life, even indirectly. For instance, they are the kinds of people who are keeping tabs on your money and your business through flying monkeys or mutuals. This can go on for years. These people don't know how to let things go, so that's why I find this very icky. They also betray each other in ways that you probably didn't even think were possible. It's too intense; there's too much unnecessary mystery and angsty energy between you and the person. Don't love it.
But I LOATHE the moon in 12H synastry. From the charts I've read, I have noticed a strong pattern here. This always gives fuck boy / fuck girl energy. Maybe the two of you are both fuck people lol, but this synastry creates too much mistrust and misunderstandings between people. I think that this could also lead to an unhealthy codependency and even some cognitive dissonance, especially on the part of the Moon person. I think that the moon person can definitely overgive to the point where they start disrespecting themselves for the sake of wanting the house person. I think the house person can create delusions in their mind about the moon person, which causes them not to trust them at all and the house person can just feel too invaded by the moon person. I think both people tend to like the idea of one another more than they actually like each other? And all of this has to do with the Neptunean influence because the 12th house is naturally ruled by Neptune, so there will be a certain level of fanatical delusion between both peopleā¦but life is not a movie, specifically a bad romance movieā¦people have to be fairly direct about what they want, and this synastry doesn't always give that. Plus, I've noticed the pattern of people just not being able to move on from each other when they have this synastry. Like, they literally feel haunted by the other person in their psyche, which is kind of gross, so there's that lol.
2H stelliums in synastry with personal planets
Now I find this icky because I don't like being smothered lol. It does not matter what kind of relationship we are talking about either; this could be a romantic relationship or even a friendship or coworker bond etc. These people will be very handsy and very aggressively protective of you. I guess it's not a bad thing, but it could become a problem when you feel like the other person is acting like they own you. This is the kind of synastry that starts off as a beautiful, gorgeous rose that slowly withers away and dies⦠lol jkjk. But this post is about what I find icky, so let's get into it. Sometimes these people project insecurities onto one another, and they kind of expect each other to fix those insecurities for them. For instance, I've noticed this a lot when it comes to physical autonomy, specifically over how one dresses. This is the kind of synastry where one partner might not like how the other partner dresses and makes comments or even passive-aggressive ājokesā about it, which would then pressure the partner to change the way that they dress. It's small control things like this, and in a really bad relationship it could even be over things like food and money. I do feel that in most scenarios people are normal lol, but I think that with this synastry there's also a level of expected reciprocation that might not be very realistic. One or both people might do things for each other simply to one up one another, or to have some kind of control over one another. I don't like it because I enjoy autonomy without explaining myself lol. I mostly see control issues when it's like sun/mercury/Venus or Mars and Jupiter, even Pluto.
Your rising (or theirs) in their 8H/10H/12H
You wanna talk about CREEPS?!!! š These people literally become obsessed with you well after the relationship, friendship or family bond is over. You could be no contact for years, and they are still checking in with you semi-annually. It's kind of like a sickness in my opinion lol. I don't like this because these people like to think that they know you better than you know yourself but really all they know is the image you're projecting out to the public which is not even who you really are lol so these people could be know it all, they could be the kind of people that don't really respect your space, your opinions, or even your boundaries. They are way too intense with you and definitely not like that with other people, and the premise of your connection is never going to be casual. They are always coming into your life to serve some kind of purpose, and when it's not good, it's usually really bad lol. It's icky. They could feel so performative to get you because they admire you so much, or you could start feeling like you have to be performative to be with them because they make you uncomfortable. If you have mutual connections, they will definitely use these people as a source to essentially get in your business.
Lilith in 1H / Lilith in 3H / Lilith in 12H
EEEEEYUCCCCK. let's break it down.
Lilith in 1H is not my favorite because it promotes some gross shit sometimesš¤·š½āāļø. For instance, I see a lot of fetishism involved with this synastry. Two people intentionally getting involved together due to the differences that they want to fetishize, like their race, their age, their gender, or any other taboo-like subculture. It opens doors for weird race play and uncomfortable situations, and it allows creeps to be creeping, in my opinion. That is on a grander scale, of course; I also don't like it because at least one person in the dynamic is aggressively chasing the other person specifically based on the fact that they are very physically attracted to the person. I have heard ālove storiesā that sound more like horror stories because it's like one person is capturing the other, rather than being gentle and patient and approaching things through the lens of love. I'm not saying that this is the kind of connection that could never be a loving connection, but this is my personal opinion. Usually, the basis of this connection is some weird sexual desire, and sometimes the only thing bringing the two people together is this desire or this fetish. No bueno.
Lilith in 3H is just cringy. I mean, if you're down with constantly feeling like you have to keep up with a performance, go for it, but I find this synastry VERYYYY performative, especially sexually. What brings these two together is definitely their mutual love for dirty talk, and if one person really isn't into that, they will get into that having this synastry. My problem is not necessarily the dirty talk. My problem is how the two talk to each other in general. I find that communication is very aggressive; both people are prone to swearing at each other, calling each other names, etc. Verbal abuse is very big here and ain't nobody got time for that. But on top of that, over time it seems like the things that they love about you, they end up hating? lol, so for instance, if you got together on the basis of enjoying some phone sex, they would then somehow use that against you in the future, like calling you a h*e or whatever. It's like they enjoy the temptation that you are, and they enjoy how the two of you can really dig into some wildly sexual and taboo fantasies, but when things are not good, they go and use it against you and make you look like a jezebel. The mental abuse can be just as crazy as the verbal, and that's why I don't jive with this synastry.
Lilith in 12H is like shackling yourself to nothing. Much like Lilith in the 1H, Lilith in 12H is often fetishized, but what is different is that this connection primarily functions in the dark. The relationship could be private, there could be cheating scandals involved, or they could be a fair partners, etc. Weird and inappropriate sexual things can happen privately that will never come out to the public, even if those things are harmful. Unfortunately, this is the kind of synastry I have seen in situations of SA. Not always, but I've made note of it enough to comment on it. I don't like it because, depending on what sign Lilith is in, what is ruling the 12H, and what else is going onā¦this could be a really dangerous aspect, and what makes it extremely dangerous is the fact that it's all happening in the dark. There's definitely an unfair or unequal balance of give and take between both people, and I think that, much like a lot of 12H synastry, things are too up in the air for anything to ever really happen outside of the bedroom or in the dark corners that they like to hide in, between these two people.
