the point where I draw a line on yuribaiting has changed as I've gotten older, but so has my philosophy relating yuribaiting as a whole. it used to be that I stood wholly against it and took every single punch to the gut, but now, I have a much more "rat style" relationship with it: I'll keep eating the bait out of the trap as long as you keep refilling it -- and sometimes I even remember to stop before you add the poison

I often do not, though. I often eat the poison until I get a resistance to it, which is "win-win" as long as I don't die badly

i love it when haiku-bot kaikus actually work with the 3 line structure of haikus. Like this is a really good one where the first line sets up this expectation of boys being perfect little beans which is then subverted by the second line. A lot of traditional haikus did this kind of thing and it's fascinating to see in the wild! ^^

Star Trek equivalent of a "Glup Shitto" is some obscure class of Federation starship that was only ever seen on screen for 0.68 seconds as a battle-damaged wreck at Wolf 359, but which somehow has a model from Eaglemoss, multiple, lengthy video essays discussing its lore, and an extremely vocal fan campaign by people demanding that it be made playable in Star Trek Online.
