I died yesterday. Darkness poured out of my skin, blackening the area around me. In the darkness, I saw my past sins fighting to get back inside of their black cacoon. In that darkness, resentment blossomed like dead roses with petals of fire. My ignorance watered the soil with the ashes of my flesh. Pain acted as an anchor, holding my spirit hostage.
