A Star Trek idea: A comedy sitcom where instead of a Vulcan on a mostly human ship it is a human on a mostly Vulcan ship

To make the human feel more accepted (as it is only logical) the Vulcans try to include aspects of terran culture in the shipās day-to-day life, failing spectacularly at it.
The human loves them even more for it.
Theyāll get better at celebrating the humanās birthday next year. Itās the thought that counts.
@jvlianbashirā THATāS A GOOD END TO THAT EPISODE THOUGHā¦ the vulcans put together awful, bland decorations. they make a cake because itās ofĀ āsignificant importanceā. they go through the process of putting together this party and Studying this Human Ritual and the entire episode is setting up to what you KNOW will be a horrible result. they do a bad job!! then when the humanās birthday comes, and they reveal the off-the-mark, underwhelming looking birthday bash, the human just. starts crying. because they had no idea their crew would go through all this trouble to celebrate their birthday, and even put up DECORATIONS, or make a CAKE, and thereās a birthday card with extremely polite impersonal messages written and a hundred perfectly tidy signatures. and the vulcans are just standing around likeĀ āyou appear upset. the Birthday Party was unsatisfactoryā.

I found this really awesome free app for dealing with mental health issues.
Itās called Booster Buddy, itās free, and itās available for both Android and iOS.
It works by giving you āquestsā (daily tasks) that you are encouraged to complete each day. They are very small things and it caters to you (it asks you questions at the start about what you struggle with).
Itās designed to be child friendly and easy to understand. Iām finding it really helpful. You can also input medication times for a reminder and emergency contact details.
I love this app and I had to share it with you all!

Iāve got this app and seriously it really helps. Not only do you have a calendar to record medication and feelings but you also want to wake up every morning to help the animal. It pretty much made my life better.

SO GUYS. Reblogging from myself because I just downloaded the app and itās got some really useful features.
In the Settings section, there is a list of Helpful Websites for a variety of different mental health issues. The list is short, but it is a great idea.
The app has you input information (which you can choose not to share) like your local emergency number, local hospital, and an emergency contact person.
There are plenty of activities to keep you going in the right direction.
There is a calendar function and a medication reminder if you need oneā and if you have an āas neededā medication, the app can remind you to take them if you check in in āCrisisā mode.
You can edit or change your information at any time, including your symptoms.
Also, less useful but really cute, you can dress up your animal buddy as you do more activities.
TL;DR This app is adorable and will probably be really, really useful for a lot of people.
I try to post and reblog art only, but this is important and could help someone.
