My pieces are missing from those that took them,

I have been walking distant prairie in my mind for what seems like ages,

Following what appears to be my last surge of life,

Grass soft and mellow between my teeth,

It’s sweetness in my mind,

The smell of earth intertwined,

I am stagnant now,

For what seems like eternity,

I watch everything around me in silence,

Some come and go,

Others stay,

I am ambivalent and do not prosper,

Static remains,

Was he selfish?

Do they hate me?

At what point is it my turn?

Will it ever be?

Am I made to be pinned on a steady wall?

One who will never crumble or break?

My framed mind,

So I sing in dust and darkness,

About everything,

I am still voiceless,

So nothing will leave,
