I don't want to die and I wanted power. But, I think I understand why he did it, after all this time... everybody i have met .. was all the same. drinking, women, worshiping god, even the king ... dreams .. children .. power. Everyone had to be drunk on something to keep pushing on ... Everyone was a slave to something.

Laugh and the world laughs with you weep and you weep alone

Even though I'm no more than a monster - don't I, too, have the right to live?

No one wants to be anywhere. We gotta be somewhere and here is better than there, maybe. But ultimately we'd rather be nowhere.

The ugly and stupid have the best of it in this world. They can sit at their ease and gape at the play. If they know nothing of victory, they are at least spared the knowledge of defeat. They live as we all should live-- undisturbed, indifferent, and without disquiet.
