When Dante woke up, he was surprised to see his brother. Alive.

Vergil had found his brother a year before Dante was put into cryo sleep. Vergil decided to keep his distance and watch over Dante time from time.

So when Vergil found out what happened to his brother, he went to go rescue Dante.

That’s when Vergil learned about and saw Reader!

Dante was not happy about what Mary did, as it caused him to miss out Reader’s life and milestones.

You, Vergil and Dante escape and meet back up with Enzo.

Vergil stuck around for maybe a month then left. Though, he did occasionally visit after that.

Not to mention that everything DMC related is secondary in the Toon Force AU. The main focus would be the jjk side of things.

But what I know for certain is that Enzo is still alive and Dante still ends up in cryostasis.

I like to think Reader was between the two of them at this moment somehow.

Reader was just a cute little bundle of joy cranky that her sleep was interrupted a lot.

Mary knocked him out somehow (maybe tranquilizer bullets from Blacque Jacque Shellacque? Or knockout gas? Idk) and that’s how she got ahold of Reader.

Reader was around 5 months old when that happened and 9 months when Dante was freed.

It was job at this lab that had asked Dante for help. Enzo told him that it would pay well if he did the job.

”You sure?” Dante asked.

“Positive.” Enzo replied.

So, off they went to that location. When they arrived, the lab was eerily quiet. Like something felt off about it but you couldn’t put your finger on why.

“Hello? Anyone there?” Enzo called out. “Hello!”

Dante opened the front entrance doors and looked inside.

“Looks empty.”

“What?! Really?! Let me see!” Enzo peeked inside of the door Dante was holding and saw emptiness as well.

“Why is it so…quiet in here? Shouldn’t a lab be, I don’t know, busy? Did something happen?” Enzo pondered.

“I dunno. I’ll check it out. Stay here.”

“Don’t have to tell me twice.” Enzo replied.

Dante stepped inside and looked around for any people around. He searched every room, every crevice of the rooms he searched in case people were hiding and double checked to make sure he didn’t miss anything.

“Weird. It’s gotta be a work of a demon. There’s no other explanation for it. Either that, or we got the wrong address. Better check the entire place before I go back to Enzo to make sure this is the right place.”

After some more searching, he still found nothing and was almost about to give up until he heard a cry.

“What?! That-that sounded like a baby!”

Dante rushed to where the crying was and spotted you, crying in an incubator. You couldn’t look much older than 2 or 3 months old.

“Whoa! Hang on! I’ll get you out!”

But before he could, a demon popped out and headed straight for Dante.

“Heh, light work.”

The demon was no match for Dante. He easily killed it with no problem.

“Alright, let me check up on that baby.”

He went back over to you and made sure you were okay.

“Hi there cutie! You okay?”

*Upset baby noises*

“Yeah? Ok, let me get you out of there.”

Dante gets you out of the incubator and holds you gently. He saw a file next to the incubator you were in and it didn’t have much, just your name, gender and when you were born.

“Huh, January 13th. So, you’re at least 3 months old. Nice!” He looked at you and said, “Nice to meet you (y/n)! I’m Dante! Or, as I’m going by right now, Tony Redgrave!”

*Baby babble noises*

“Aw, aren’t you so cute! Let’s get you out of here so you can meet my buddy Enzo!”

“Dante, what is that?”

“A baby girl”

“Okay…why do you have one?”

“She was just, left in there. Like, she was the only living being in there.”

“What!? Really?! No one else was there?!”

“Yeah, really strange. I’m going to check the building again, for good measure. Here, hold her.”

Dante handed you and your file over to Enzo.

“Look after (y/n) for me while I double check!”

And with that, he left to go check the building again. Leaving you with Enzo.

“So (y/n) is your name. Nice to me ya! I’m Enzo!”

*Baby noises*

“Awwww, so cute!”

Dante had checked the building twice and still found no other people there. It wasn’t a big building and it was located in a remote area where nothing else was around.

Just as Dante got out of the building to meet back up with you and Enzo, someone appeared. They had driven up the building and got out to meet the two men. It was a man in a suit holding something.

“Hello there, I’m here on behalf of my client. He sent me here to give you your pay.”

He pulled out a briefcase with money in it. Enzo handed you and your file over to Dante and grabbed the briefcase.

“Payed in full. My client says that he’s sorry he couldn’t be here.”

“Fine by me!”

“How did your client know I took care of the problem?” Dante asked.

“There are cameras set up in there. He saw you take care of it.” The man said.

The man began to walk back to his car.

“Hey wait! What about the baby!?” Enzo shouted.

“Don’t worry about it.” The man simply replied.

“What?! But-"

Before Enzo could finish his sentence, the man had already gotten into his car and drove off. Leaving Dante and Enzo dumbfounded and confused.

“So….what now?” Enzo asked.

“Well, I guess we take her with us.”

“Huh?!”

“There’s not much else to do about it. We can’t just leave her here. No one else is here! She’ll die if we leave her here!”

“Yeah, you have a good point. Well, let’s get going then. No use to standing around here any longer.” Enzo said.

The two men get into Enzo’s car and they begin to drive away from the empty lab.

“So, what ya doing to do about the baby?” Enzo asked.

Dante, looking down at you said, “I think, I’m going to keep her.”

“WHAT?! Dante! Do you know what you’re getting yourself into?! Do you even know how to take care of a baby?!”

“Enzo, I know taking care of babies is not easy, but there’s just something about her. Like, there’s something different about her. I can’t put my finger on why, but I know that I don’t think I could just leave her with anyone. I mean, she was in a lab alone! There’s something different about her. Something special. I can feel it.”

Enzo looked confused by what he meant by that.

‘Special?’ Enzo thought.

“Well, okay. But just remember Dante, it’s not going to be easy.”

“I don’t know Enzo, I think she’ll be easy to take care of. She seems calm!”

*Cue you crying*

“Calm, huh?”

“Uuuhhh, maybe she’s hungry? Or needs a diaper change?”

“Please tell me she’s hungry.”

Dante checked your diaper. “Looks like she’s hungry!”

“Oh thank goodness!” Enzo breathed out.

“Get us to a store. Quickly!”

There’s something that I want to know.

If Dante and Vergil were in the jjk world, being born as humans and were sorcerers, how would their stories play out?

This is assuming that Vergil is the one with cursed energy and Dante having heavenly restriction.

Would Vergil kill Dante? Or would he find a way to get power without resorting to killing his brother?

Remember! They are both humans and not half demons for these questions.

Poor reader, she’s doomed to have a bad time. Not to mention suffer as well.

Being Sukuna’s daughter is pretty…rough is one way to describe it. Not because he’s harsh or cruel to reader or anything. On contrary, he loves reader.

It’s rough because of what Sukuna is.
