How do you have a stagewalk with zero stage access for wheelchair users? How do you knowingly have disabled participants and exclude them in a mini-event within the event? ("Everybody stand up and plug in those cords!") How do you fuck up your communication so bad that an award for heart was presented to a server without saying what it was actually fully for? (Scar said he was told it was about the Gamers Outreach charity streams, got presented live as an award to Hermitcraft in general for their 10 seasons of play instead and made it seem like he was pushing the charity event unprompted despite this award coming from Mojang themselves who contributed to Gamers Outreach because of the past charity events Scar hosted) How do you have up to 4 instances where players need to access the stage, 3 of which were pre-planned, and the 4th was a high possibility, and yet zero access to the stage outside steps anyway? Why is your first thought to make them go through the crowd instead as their entrance in place of their stage walkout, putting themselves at risk, all of which their safety is in your hands?

The whole thing was fucked. I already hated Twitch, but good lord, I feel like they screwed over Scar so much, especially with that setup placement too. Why are your speakers placed next to a streaming setup when you know they'll be blasting anyway? Ah yes, a competition, known to be won by the best players and teamwork dynamics of their player roster, and you set it up so when your ambiance is going on, a player's desk is shaking. How often does this happen?

And in the end, they still didn't know how to really treat Scar when Pink Parrots won. "Hold that crown up high with your team" meanwhile they all tower over his wheelchair. They can't control that one, but c'mon. She could've said literally anything else and yet she told everyone to put a hand on it and hold it high up.

Accessibility isn't just for the disabled btw! If it is hard for an able bodied person to traverse, that is still an accessibility nightmare! Accessibility is for everyone!!

I did not attend TwitchCon, I never have, and I certainly never will if it keeps up like this too. I've seen people talking about contacting sponsors/partners of TwitchCon/Twitch/Twitch Rivals about everything too. State Farm, Mojang/Microsoft, Honda, ect. Any and all of the names you see, big or small. It is going to continously get worse unless they see the drop in their viewership and revenue. TwitchCon attendees, you can be rightfully angry about where your money has gone. $100-$200+ for this? PER PERSON? And they can't even have any form of accessibility OR qualified security in the area?

Streamers/Creators that stream both on Twitch and YouTube, I hate to say it but support their YouTube channel over Twitch right now! Google's got their own shitload of issues too, but right now we are sending a message to Twitch. Streamers that only stream on Twitch, I urge you to have a vods channel at the very least.

Twitch was already seeing a huge decline, don't let this whole thing drive you back towards using Twitch right now. Support your streamers, I saw a while back that Twitch has a subscription to end ads site/app-wide, which defeats the purpose of Twitch Subs to begin with. Twitch will always take a cut either way, but a sub to a streamer at least gives them something over the absolute nothing they'd get from Twitch's own subscription. If streamers have a type of donation page, use that over anything else instead.

doc has 1.04 million subscribers on youtube and 167.2 thousand followers on twitch. skizz has less in both categories. zombie cleo, also known for being an outspoken hermit about queer things, has more twitch and YouTube followers/subscribers than skizz.
