Derek spotted Thomas down the corridor, noticing the person he was talking to. “You heard the boy, get lost and stop being such an inconvenience,” he smirked, turning back to the other. “I just saved you five minute of debate, thank me.” 

Thomas turned to look at Derek as the redhead joined him and made the person he was talking to practically run away. “You know I like to play with them and watch them squirm for a little while,” he replied with a laugh before smirking back at Derek. “Oh, I’ll definitely thank you,” he assured, tugging the other close for a quick kiss. “What’re you doing right now, Babe?” 

Thought Wyatt isn’t really one for sports, other than maybe Track and Fields because it’s all running, he needed something more fill up his time. Another sport seemed like a good idea, it would get him outside more and maybe ease up his need to gamble his life away. He stood outside of the athletic directors office, contemplating his decision when someone started walking by. “Yo, do you play a sport?”

Thomas paused when someone started talking to him, turning towards the voice and raising his eyebrows at the question. He scoffed and glanced down at himself as he was still in his football gear. “What do you think, dumbass?” he asked the boy. 

Out of respect for Raf, Layla tried not to talk to Thomas. The two hated each other and she was already trying to juggle both Raf and Sage separately. But this was apparently of the utmost importance. “Hey, I just came from the AD’s office, you should get your football photos redone. You look like a brunt ass chicken nugget.” She commented lightly, before handing him a draft of a football poster.

Thomas was just switching his things out at his locker when Layla approached him, looking down at the posted and scoffing. He tore the poster and threw it back at her. “Not my problem that you’re shit with a camera and getting a poster done,” he told the girl. “Fix that horrible saturation thing you’re doing with the images and you might be decent at it.” 

“If you want to help me you could go drown.”

“You flirting with me, Thickett? What’s got you all pissy, your loser boyfriend with the camera finally dump you?” 

“You’re blocking the door, Thomas.” Iris said impatiently, crossing her arms at him. There were some comments she wanted to make, but she was trying to remain civil.

“Oh, am I?” Thomas asked, smirking as he looked at the girl and glancing around. “Well, I guess you’re just going to have to move around,.” 

“I have AP European History. It says its somewhere on the second floor but I can’t seem to find it. I’d really appreciate some help.” 

“Hmm, AP European History, pretty sure that’s Mr. Mendoza’s class... So that should be on the second floor of the other building, babe. I could definitely walk you over, need any help with those awfully heavy books?” 

“I need your help decorating my room. Could you please help me? I want to hang fairy lights but I’m too short and I don’t want to break a nail using tools. Also I don’t have any tools, so you’d have to bring some.” 

“Of course you do. And I’m assuming you couldn’t find Derek or he was busy? What will I be getting out of it? I’m going to need a little incentive here, babe. My time and effort isn’t free, and everyone has a price as you know.” 

“I’m too cute to be an inconvenience.”

“Of course you are, babe. What’s up, though. I’m sure there’s something running around in that pretty little head of yours to have you coming to me.” 

“I’m new. I was just wondering how to get to the History classroom.”

“Oh, I’m sorry. I just came out of a bit of a bad practice, I shouldn’t have reacted like that. Which History class do you have, Gorgeous?” 

“I don’t need two needy bitches,” he laughed. “Really? Where? Who had it?” 

“Yeah? Alright, you’ve got a point that one Maddie is more than enough.” he agreed with a laugh. “Yeah, really. No one did, you left it on by my bed. I figured it was mine earlier, but when i looked inside it had your shit, lucky socks and all.” 

“You didn’t like my new pic and I look so good in it. it’s like you don’t even care.” Was she making this a bigger deal than it needed to be? Yes, yes she was. 

“Is this what this is all about? Babe, I haven’t even checked instagram in days, coach has been riding us hard at practice,” He told her, shaking his head at the blonde. “Want me to fix that?” he asked, pulling his phone from his pocket and launching the app, going straight to Maddie’s account and liking the picture. “You look as gorgeous as always, better in person,” he told her. 

“Well, I’m free everyday except Thursdays.” She grinned. She definitely needed this, get away from it all and breathe a little. Especially with Thomas by her side who could help her think of something else.

“Sounds perfect to me, babe,” Thomas replied with a grin of his own “We deserve a night away, have some fun just you and me,” he replied with a playful wink. 

“I don’t know, what do you think?” Maddie crossed her arms, raising an eyebrow. He hadn’t liked her newest insta pic yet and to her that was offensive.

“I think you’re too hot for us to be wasting time arguing,” Thomas replied, crossing his own arms over his chest and looking down at the short blonde with brows raised as well. “Seriously, Mads, I’m not Derek. I’m not gonna entertain this shit.”
