I…. don’t think I could invoke fear…. but I might be good at tricking people…. I’ve done it before, when I lived at the orphanage… grown men are the easiest to trick… but sometimes women if you find one that has a soft enough heart for children…
Well, that makes my job easier! The one thing about tricking someone, you have to play to their weakness. If they've lost a kid, play to them saying your parents almost lost you. If they have a sick kid, talk about a pain you have. Though it seems that you already have some practice. But you always need more. Use your size and body to your advantage. If you are young or look young, act young. Appear vulnerable. People feel bad for little gals.

Waking Up
She looked up as she heard Thomas calling for her and asking what plasmid he had. She watched as the bright blue globule pulsated and glowed in his hand, soft, high-pitched noises, like those from a radio, being emitted from the strange orb. The blue light seemed to reflect off her skin, she noticed, and lit up the dim room. That would be useful rather he was using it for light or to sic security on an enemy.
“Security Bullseye,” she answered. “That should be a good one if you run into security problems. I’ve only found one turret and Jeremy’s already hacked that.” she bent low again, finishing her thorough search through the floor cabinets. As he teased her about liking him so much, she glanced up at him with a light smirk, though she said nothing on the contrary. It had to be obvious that she wasn’t exactly warm toward people, especially strangers.
“I don’t really know, to be honest,” she replied. “He seems nice enough, but we haven’t had much time to talk and get to know each other…” her voice trailed off, brow furrowing with concentration as she unwedged a rather large and dusty glass jar.
“Yeah,” she stood straight, wiping the dust off the jar, eyes brightening. “Water. Ugh, thanks to whoever kept this here.” dying of thirst was not on the top of her to-do list. “I’ll just have to find an empty jar so we can split this if you want.” she peered back up at him, blinking.
“So, you ever have to do hard labor like this?” she was pushing the cans and jar of water gently into her makeshift rucksack, figuring she’d split up the goods whenever they were finished looking through the apartments. “Probably not, as I’m the one looking.” she just raised her brows at him before moving off deeper into the apartment toward the bathroom.
“You could look in the bedrooms for money or EVE,” she called out from the darkness, switching plasmids so now she had the Hypnotize Big Daddy globule glowing a soft sea green in her hand. She raised her hand up as she headed into the unlit bathroom, fingers groping the wall for a light switch.
Thomas looked at the blue light. Security hacking in the palm of his hand? That's going to be helpful soon enough. He nodded at her comment and started to search the room next to the kitchen as Christine kept talking about her partner. The way she described him made it seem like another knight might be added to Thomas' chess board. Pawns were easy to come by, but knights were a little harder. They had to be of certain skills that would help him later. Christine's partner might be knighted very soon.
"No, I've sat in Mummy's lap ever since I was born. Never had to hide evidence." Thomas said sarcastically as he crawled under a little bit of rubble. He walked into the room, his hand extended for a little light. There wasn't much in this bedroom, though a few cases and purses in the corner that looked hopeful. He stepped over a puddle before looking at the bed. Broken glass and dust covered it, not a place to sit.
The bags weren't as helpful as they looked. An EVE, a few bucks, half a bottle of soda, lipstick, and other thing he wouldn't need to use. He grabbed what looked to be like a hemp bag and kept looking. There were a few random bills lying around, but most were too ruined to be of any use anywhere. Thomas took a deep breathe before dropping to the floor, checking under the bed.
"After this, I think some more water might be needed. I think I'd like the stench of corpse off me." Thomas shouted to Christine. He saw something under the bed, but he didn't know what. He flattened himself as much as he could to reach, his fingers brushing briefly. Who the hell hid something underneath a bed? Underneath the floorboards was better, and easier to reach.
Ah ha! He grabbed it before he pushed off the bed to stand up. It was a recording, beat up, but it still seemed to be playable. He checked the rest of the room, finding nothing. Thomas crawled back out before setting off to check the other bedroom. The room was cleaner than the other, he was able to do a quicker sweep of it. He found $10, a can of peas, an old book of a fictional war, and some other little things that might prove useful later. "Did you find anything else useful?"

Do you really think I would tell such lies about the man who raised me? The man who taught me how to defend myself and make sure everyone knew that I could hold myself up on two feet and overcome any obstacle? Do you think I would tell lies about the man who is dying right now, while I am stuck in here? No you idiotic Anon. I was not lying, my father was shot by Ryan so Ryan thought it'd be a good idea to put that much more stress on him to watch his only heir, the only person who would have the sense and capabilities to take over his business and make sure people got what they needed when they needed, possibly die.
What kind of person do you think I am? I maybe be a villain to some of these whelps, but I would never lie about the travesty that Ryan put upon my family and the burden he put upon my shoulders.
So NO, I was not lying.
