How do you make and use black salt?

I honestly think the reason people fear witchcraft is because they don’t understand it. The media, from fictional shows to paranormal series have made anything to do with the occult some powerful taboo. Because they don’t understand why anyone would turn to witchcraft other then power and darkness and they have insane cult leaders like Crowley to go by. And those that don’t fear it but think all us witches strive for that think we’re unhinged and shouldn’t be able to be taken seriously on any subject pertaining to witchcraft.

But that’s such an outdated and dangerous mindset from both sides.

There are people that get into witchcraft thinking that if they try hard enough and pray to the most powerful gods and join this certain coven; they’ll be able to levitate and time travel and if that’s not dangerous and almost brainwashing cultlike activity waiting to happen idk what is.

WITCHCRAFT. IS. NOT. AND. NEVER. HAS. BEEN. LIKE. THE. MEDIA. CLAIMS.

Witches ‘flying’ back in the day was astral projection or an OBE. Some could talk to spirits verbally others mentally. Some seeing visions were legit and others would smoke fumes of plants and die get high as fuck. Witches felt their ingredients were secret so they used terms like ‘dead mans toe’ and ‘Devils tongue’ to describe herbs and plants they used. 7 times out of 10 I can guarantee you they didn’t use a dead mans toe (tho some might have…. It was gross times man)

People didn’t have the know how we do now so they explained things the best way they could and in turn it made witchcraft 10 times scarier when described.

Then the media enhanced this for ‘entertainment’ and 'shock factor’.

So if you’re a newbie witch or a non witch that is disappointed in this knowledge then

A. Sorry to be a realist

B. Witchcraft may not be for you

Though I LOVE the movie 'The Craft’, it’s not an honest representation of witchcraft especially towards the end….. But, it did have a good point about Nancy. If you’re a Nancy that’s only into witchcraft for power over others and are willing to go those lengths to get it. Not only will you be vastly disappointed but you better be careful. There’s plenty of spirits and living alike that will take advantage of you and your beliefs

Now witchcraft can be powerful in more subtle ways.

It can help you see the future or past in visions instead of time traveling. It can help you fly through trance and OBE. It can help you communicate with spirits. It can help speed up a healing process a bit. It can bring a little luck on your side. You can understand yourself better through divination. It can enhance your intuition and awareness. It might even be able to curse someone, who knows?

All depending on your beliefs and you. As long as your beliefs have common sense of course. (We can’t prove curses, astral projection and spirits etc are real or not but we can 100% prove a human being flying on a broom is not possible….See my point?)

Witchcraft is honestly just that; for yourself.

For me, as a highly sensitive person, it was to; understand my abilities, be able to communicate with spirits more easily and to spiritually protect myself.

That’s all it’s ever been. Analyzing ones self, praying for things to happen, finding strength, learning and personal interest.
