I shot this beautiful serie of portraits for Rolling Stone Italia at the Inri Fest on December.

Dade (Davide Pavanello - Linea 77 frontman and Inri founder) called me with the following idea: he wanted few portraits for all Inri's artists and his staff so after a brief talk we decided to shoot at the festival.

This is all I knew, in addition I had little time to shoot them before their performance on stage. It was particularly difficult to get them focused on the shoot as they were all thinking about their gig. I had two options: to go insane or to do my best to let them enjoy posing.

I came up with this idea of three shots each: a serious one, a smiling one and a silly one that was, obviously, everybody's favourite.

It was funny and nice to meet all these people, to shoot old friends and some of my favourite bands.

For me both music and photography are necessary, essential, something I couldn't live without. My first approach to photography went through music while shooting all the gigs I went to. Later I realised that I loved music too much to mix it with work, I preferred enjoying it.

I love photography because I can work within the music industry still enjoying it. My recent works includes portraits, promo images and album covers for bands and artists as LNRipley, Linea 77, Anthony Laszlo, Esma, Piano A, Levante etc. and I wish to keep on working in this industry that I love as much as fashion.
