Sure you can have a smart and thoughtful and well-behaved child but she will be maladjusted very soon and be in for much difficulty!!

Even if you're an only child a parent should still do everything in their power to make sure their kid has adequate time with friends and peers at school and outside of school. I know I spent a lot of time with my mom since she raised me by herself, but she always let my friends come over so I didn't spend all my days playing dolls silently in the playroom by myself. In comparison I grew up with a girl who also was raised by a single mom, but she never hung out with her peers and was very badly adjusted with us when she did and struggled socially so much as a teen. Kids who lived in her apartment would often invite her to play and her mom would always say no and send them away. Very sad.

I want more women electricians, plumbers, contractors, carpenters, more women who work in the trades! I’m sick and tired of letting droves of men into my home where my mother and I are made vulnerable and uncomfortable!! I WANT MORE TRADESWOMEN! I want all women living without men to feel SAFE when they have to call service people for help!
