For children with ADHD using a volunteer in the class to repeat or demonstrate what is required is very helpful for children. It not only allows the children to hear from a peer the instructions of an assignment, but they can see how they are supposed to do it from a peer as well. I have noticed that when my students don’t understand what is expected of them and can see another child do it they feel more comfortable trying or even asking questions. Have you tried this before?
