Best part about big kids going to school definitely is the one-on-one time I will get to spend with K 😍 . She is actually playing with toys meant for her (haha not the monster trucks and Barbies) and today was so proud of her color sorting that she sat back and said “Mama, I did it!” with such a contagious enthusiasm. Pom pom drop corresponding to each colour of bottle cap placed in front of each glass. We played this colour matching game using pom poms and bottle caps and had lot of fun as Aanshi loves to play with pom poms! 📍Materials required: any glass or plastic bowl/glass, bottle caps, pom poms and tongs. 📍How to play: I placed 5 different colored bottle caps in front of 5 small glasses. The task was to drop the pom poms in glasses of respective colors corresponding to each bottle cap using tongs. Happy national popcorn day! Kids love popcorn, and making crafts with it is even better! Using popcorn in fine motor crafts are fun and help the child reinforce their pincer grasp. Improving a child's pincer grasp is essential for fine motor skills and handwriting skills such as pencil grip. You can get as creative as you like using popcorn!
