To be fair Teagan does fight in the Darkspawn Chronicles. He's a boss fight so that (in-game) puts him at the same level as revenants. Ig he just got a little sleepy the day he was supposed to battle the undead and decided the Chantry benches looked more comfortable
my stance is that if i have to accept for the premises of this discussion that gameplay mechanics found in the darkspawn chronicles dlc are canon, then everyone else has to accept that sebastian can do this shit from his skill tree for real
I mean. The idea of Sebastian ‘Andrastian’ Vale.. idk, coercing a Spirit to act as a decoy/distraction for a second or whatever WOULD be very Fun and Interesting.
DA:A has completely Non-Mage Warriors channel Spirits as a Class as well, So He Could Plausibly Do That.
Also there’s the whole Spirit/Demon dichotomy and how that mirrors Angels/Demons to an extent. ‘Guardian Angel’…
