They had gone on to explain that there is a gentle disconnect between the same care that one gives their lifestyle and their religious beliefs. They are divorced from one another. This is why there is the feeling of "The Gods are Absent when I am not at the altar". Or "Why do I suddenly feel like the <deity> is around."

Nothing has changed. The deities did not "move away" or "go into a different part of the world."

The limits of deities are not corporeal. Humans exist in a linear and narrow lens of existence. Their awareness isn't as expensive. They are limited to walls. And to a degree, walls do exist for deities and spirits. But not in the same ways and not with the same principles. There are metaphysical boundaries.

They, Lucifer, went on to explain that this is can be a contributing factor for why some people experience regular issues with unwanted essences and spirits in the home and other people — who are aware of how boundaries exist from culture to culture — do not.

But it also ties into the lack of awareness people have for Spirit / Non-corporeal beings. Attunement and self awareness lacks. And when a practitioner becomes so wrapped up in their own small microcosm, they will continue to stagnate in their own mindscape versus actually connecting to the Divine without their self imposed limitations.

Fantasies can be moving. They can be spiritually inspiring as well. But it's difficult for some people who ride the high of fictitious mental landscapes that are vibrant and fun and entertain all the itches they wish to be scratched that they stunt their own awareness of the Divine. And it is almost tragic.

Shirt is almost done, save for cleaning up and blending more. A bit more shading/highlighting left in his ponytail. Edited the trigger housing for the rifle. Still not sure about it. Might make it a smidge smaller, the scale just feels...off. Idk, haven't exactly been around many flintlock rifles in person. May need to do a little more visual research.

Working on smoothing out the linework as I go now that I found a brush I strongly prefer for it.

Mainly though, it's the rifle. Saved the majority of it for last because I know the hardware is gonna be a bitch.
