Yall ever hate it when your mid shift and something so human snaps you out of it? Like I just want to play with my ball why must my hair get in the wayyyy. 😢🐾

So I was getting MAJOR dog shifts earlier, and I went to check on my cat b4 bed. She was resting on my chair, and I was feeling playful and kinda silly, but I started nuzzling her and sniffing her as I do when I’m happy. She never gets upset at me, but I think she could feel my shift and she raised her paw at me. I backed away, ears down, sad. I was shocked I scared her, but then I realized, she always did that when I felt shifty, even before I awakened as a therian. Has she know the entire time? She never got mad at me when i would sniff her outside of shifts, so why now? I love her to the moon and back, and I felt horrible for making her uncomfortable. But she soon forgave me and gave my livers acupuncture, so fairs fair.

I want my paws back so much it hurts.
