The funniest thing about my sleep paralysis episodes last night was the one time I caved and opened my eyes the hallucination I had was just my bathroom door being open. (It couldn't have been, to clarify, I never open it as I have no reason to, the water in the trailer isn't connected so the only useful part of the room is the mirror.)
My brain decided to conjure up a hallucination of.... The bathroom door being open. It was unreasonably dark inside, yes, but it's not like there was a guy there. And then I just went back to sleep.
I wasn't even scared, I was fighting to move because I wanted to roll over really badly.
I don't think this is normal, maybe a different part of my brain was active than in typical sleep paralysis cases, this would also explain the other times I've had sleep paralysis as well.
