DeVoid was known for many things. Destroying planets, bending and breaking the laws of magic, and stating her complete control over anybody who crossed her way, that one was her specialty.

Above all, she was known for her power. That control she established over anyone who crossed her way, it was delicious. She craved it constantly. It's what made her the powerful monarch she was.

It's what drew her to Earth in the first place. Sure, she was primarily after the Star Guardian, Guardian of The Stars, but once that was out of the way, there was so much more to do with the planet. Hundreds of insects to stomp and manipulate to her dark will. They would succumb to her easily enough, it was only a matter of time. After getting her revenge, she'd be ruling and marking this world as another part of her intergalactic territory.

Though, there had been a slight change of plans.

Due to the fact her abilities were, well, not so stable, she couldn't just kill the Star Guardian immediately. She had sent Eclipse to fetch the school girl and bring her straight to DeVoid's claws. That annoying little blonde boy had only caused more trouble than progress though. It was time for a change of plans, if she ever hoped to get her revenge.

She'd decided she needed a disguise to be able to maintain a close eye on the Star Guardian, and when the perfect opportunity came her way, she knew she had to take it.

It was perfect. That night they'd met at the bar, she realized exactly what needed to be done. Aika's teacher was obviously in need of a little bit of fun after her very saddening divorce, and DeVoid needed to get closer to that wretched little star girl.

"It's just the way I speak to beautiful women such as yourself." DeVoid delivered smoothly, while she put her jacket on one of the hooks next to the door. She was very proud of that one.

"Then I suppose, I'm not that special then..."

The night from then on was then spent in the calmness of the apartment. Miss had taken the opportunity to show her around and take a look at the interior of her home. Who was she to push and order her around, like she wasn't a- THE dark monarch, capable of hunting down great and powerful beings this dumb planet had never even seen before. No wonder, DeVoid felt as if she hadn't slept a whole week. In fact, she could feel her eyes get heavier and heavier at the revelation, as if she just now realized how tired she was.

"I guess you should get going now, but thanks for every-" Miss stopped abruptly, a serene smile spreading across her cheeks.

She stared at the sofa where DeVoid was now lying down, clearly in a deep sleep. She looked at peace, which was weird for Miss, considering this woman was always either brooding or visibly trying to impress her.

She appreciated the effort though. It's been a long time since someone had shown this much care for her, even if it does come in a strange package like DeVoid.

"Sleep tight." Miss whispered, leaning down and pressing a little kiss to DeVoid's forehead.

Barely audible steps alerted DeVoid's twitchy ears that Miss had left, probably to get ready for work.

Blush rose to her cheeks, and she let herself smile, just this once.
