an alternate scene idea to the castle evacuation scene

I meant to finish this like a week ago but tomodachi life got me-

I could rant about how many scenes in the movie made me feel slightly disappointed but it’s nothing I’ve not already said before, so instead I’m going to share my ideas for how I think certain aspects could’ve been better.

The main idea here was that, everybody just seemed to completely forget about bowser during the evacuation? Like he’s their ONLY captive prisoner, he could not get out on his own, and yet not a single person thought of him despite the previous scene being solely about Luigi and bowser being friends??? I also think this would’ve been a far better way to make bowser big again.

I was a bit put off by how they did it in the movie. Honestly I was waiting for it to turn into some fantasy sequence from Mario’s perspective but no, Mario full on lost his shit and stomped tf out of bowser 😭 I feel like if bowser going back to his usual size was shown more to be a sacrifice then it would’ve, at least to a few characters, been a far better show of loyalty and well meaning. Especially since the movie was trying to show bowser actually making an effort to be better, I feel the way they went about it didn’t really give much for that to be shown.
