They’ve been known to attack bears when defending their territory. And yet they’re one of the cuddliest breeds out there, particularly noted for being patient with small children.

I have a Norwegian mix, and can attest that she is the cuddliest cat but also insane enough to try and fight a bear.

I will forever mourn that I live in the point in time where “yeet” is still too new to use legitimately in serious writing, because it conveys such a specific kind of throwing. Reckless abandon, a certain amount of disdain, a pinch of flair, a feral glint in your eye knowing you just launched whatever it is into oblivion… I can’t even put it all into words, no matter how many of them I try to use, because “yeet” is so specific, so perfect. BUT if I use it in a description, it’s going to throw the readers out of the narrative, even if sometimes your character really just needs to yeet a book across the room. You see my problem?
