I come bearing an update on another emergency financial situation that appears far more urgent than my own. Much like my partner’s situation that I shared recently, this user is in a financially and emotionally abusive household, potentially even with the risk of it escalating to physical now that the election results are in. Please help them out if you can, as the household they are attempting to make it to is quite literally the only one safe and stable enough for them to recover and live in.

I have checked every Barnes and noble I have ever walked past, I have scoured the internet, and the only thing I can find on it is the original Oregon Parks post.

Please help me find these books.

Hello! I am temporarily opening up both art and writing commissions!

Only terms are to please credit my DeviantART (Evergreen244) or my Toyhouse (Velaris) rather than this blog.

Don’t mind that the credits say Mythie- I’m also @mythie-and-mages and tend to use that name more often, so that’s usually what gets put on art.

Art

*Examples are all.. about a year old? Last ArtFight, mainly. I don’t have too many more recent ones, however my style has stayed pretty much the same or anatomy has improved slightly. I can also do semi-realistic humanoid portraits!

If given references, I can also work fairly well in various styles, so I can match the style of canon material if requesting an OC or character that you have a specific style in mind for. However, references are not a requirement and I am also able to work off of descriptions, moodboards, etc alone.

Headshots / Chibis / Items: $5

Landscapes / Busts / Halfbodies: $10

Fullbodies / Prev options + background: $15

Semi-Realistic Portrait / Realistic Pet: $25

Realistic Portrait / Digital Painting: $35

*All of these will be colored and fully shaded unless requested otherwise!

**Progress updates will be shown twice: after the sketch and after the lining

I’m also a writer! I run @thesoftestofpetals, where I occasionally talk about my trilogy of the same name. I have 8 years of experience with various forms of writing and storytelling, as well as 3 as an editor.

Editing / Betareading: $2 per 100 words

Writing: $5 per 100 words, $3 per 100 words if provided an outline in advance

While I specialize in fantasy, I have experience writing in a variety of genres and am always willing to try out new things!

Due to the urgent nature of the reason behind these commissions being opened, I do request that payment is sent in advance. My turnover times tend to be anywhere from same-day to a week for longer pieces of writing and anything semi-realistic or realistic for art. If I run into any issues along the way, I will let you know!

So, I realize that I’m not the most active, but I want to try changing that! I see a lot of ask games, but most of them have a lot of things that I can’t answer / that don’t apply to me, so I figured I’d do a AMA instead!

TSOP is my main story, which I’m hoping to get published sometime soon! Because of that, there will be some limits:

- Character and place names will be abbreviated

- Specific plot details won’t be shared yet

I just wrote so many words. Like, 1/3 of the rewrite amount of words. So, because apparently my motivation has returned, AMA about TSOP!! This is mostly for book one, but feel free to ask about anything in the trilogy!

Hello everyone!! It’s been.. quite a while! Mostly because I’ve been busy with life stuff, but also because I am almost done with TSOP!!!!!

For those of you who don’t know what that is, TSOP is a YA fantasy trilogy featuring assassins, royalty, magic, and more!!

Want enemies to lovers? Can do! Healthy relationships and recovering from trauma? Got it! A fantasy world with more worldbuilding than probably necessary? Got that too! A stubborn assassin who regularly ignores the laws of life and death? Got her! She was hard to catch, but she’s here. Want an anxious, autism-coded prince? He’s here too, but please don’t tap the glass. You might startle him.

The first book follows Kei, an assassin, on her journey to free her territory from the rule of Hunters. Along the way, she uncovers a plot far larger than she ever could have expected and quickly finds herself wrapped up in royal affairs.

While I typically don’t share info about TSOP publicly (despite that being the entire point of this blog-), I’ve decided to start a Discord server for it!

This is mostly a way for me to gauge interest in the story, as well as get to know more people and maybe build up a little community with others who enjoy similar things as me or are interested in the story! So, if it sounds like something you may like, come take a look around!!
