Shhh- it's too loud

In the worst of the winter I would think about this oc/self insert x Underfell Papyrus au to go to sleep...then I started doodling about it in class... I even wrote like 1,200 words about it...

First off a drawing of Toriel because you meet her first :)

boiled down it's a scar soulmate au for Underfell where I imagined basically everything but the two characters meeting lol. Slow burn has nothing on me, what if the characters just never met •ᴗ•

It starts with the main character waking up in the underground as a cat monster and basically just staying with Toriel as her child to avoid conflict. But when Toriel describes the magic soulmate scars on MC to the voice on the other side of the door, someone gets suspicious and decides they need to pay a visit and see for themselves. I imagine sans would have to trick Toriel into letting him visit which would shock MC (I'll think of a name ummm,,, never sorry) and then sans would also be unnerved because he does recognize the scars, actually he sees them every day (cough cough papyrus' scars cough cough). This would then lead to a lot of hi jinks of sans trying to get Toriel to let MC into the underground, so his little brother can meet his soulmate, Toriel having none of it because why would she let her child leave and get killed, and MC being confused as to why this skeleton flirting with her pseudo mom has anything to do with her (yes there is soriel in this au I just think it's sweet, also the soulmate thing isn't necessarily romantic and also not everyone has a soulmate mark in the same way (๑•᎑•๑))

This is where the character stopped being about my middle school self so much and instead an exploration of how I feel when I am feminine as a gender-fluid person. I also just loved drawing them.

I present the birth of my oc/self insert that started as an exploration of a maladaptive daydream I indulged in a lot in middle school. This character evolves a lot/has a lot of different aus so umm I'm just going to post collections together as much as I can. Initially I wanted to make a character that included what I thought was cool in middle school, edgy colors, cats, and of course utmv aus, but also stay true to my most vivid memory of this daydream;

I was at a football game cheering and I remember thinking that swapfell sans and papyrus (aaah cringe I know) were secretly watching me (I didn't have any family come watch me cheer so it was comforting to imagine someone was there for me, sorry this is kinda a cringy and sad story) and that I would go home with them after the game.

So for this AU they start in the cheer uniform as much as I can remember it (no photos for me to reference, but I do know that my middle school did have KMS on the cheer uniforms which I thought was so funny in middle school, and even now) and they fall into the underswap underground and are transformed into this cat creature and are taken care of by the swapfell skeleton bros. Basically very found family taking care of my neglected middle school self •ᴗ•
