One time when I was in eighth grade I was having the worst chronic pain flare up I’ve ever had in my life so I walked up to the teacher to ask to go to the office and call home but it freaked her out really bad because I explained to her I was in severe pain to the point I could hardly stand, I couldn’t see, I couldn’t breathe, I was nauseous, and there was something wrong with my heartbeat. She got very worried very fast as I talked and ended up sending another student to walk me to the office to make sure I was okay. The other student was also very worried so she either overheard everything or I just truly looked like shit. Regardless, thanks Jaida, you were very nice. So anyways that’s the story of how I horrified my choir teacher and poor Jaida and experienced the worst pain I’ve ever felt in my life

Do you think the past timers ever have trouble falling asleep because they’re scared about when they’ll wake up if they do? Cause most of them weren’t conscious the whole time they were petrified and it’s been referred to as a very long nap before, so at least some of them probably worry that one day they’ll go to sleep only to wake up again thousands of years later to find civilization repetrified. The people who were conscious the whole time probably have trauma relating to the severe sensory deprivation and solitude they experienced for so long with only their own thoughts for company. These people are irreversibly fucked up

Do other people have a sort of “sleep mode?” I don’t know if this is a thing for other people but for some reason, unless I’m really tired, I won’t fall asleep unless I cross my eyes while they’re closed. Every other sleeping condition could be perfect but if my eyes aren’t crossed it will take me hours to fall asleep. I don’t know why and I’ve never heard of anyone else with anything similar. It’s not an issue or annoying or anything since its a habit but ever since I realized that I do it I’ve been wondering if I’m weird or if other people have similar things
