omgggg they're finally done!!!! (i say that like it's been a long time. it's only been a week. an intense one though! total time taken: 12.5 hours for tenna, 5 hours for spamton (excluding the code editing))

tysm for all the support in anticipation of these guys!!

(about a third of all my followers are here because of spamtenna shimejis. i guess im a spamtenna artist now??? )

NOTES:

there could be offsets between shimejis and windows they're interacting with, this is normal and asfaik there's no easy fix for that. scaling the shimejis affects these offsets as well

i usually have them at 2x scale to see the sprites better, especially for the petting action

they keep getting stuck on top of the screen as well as treating the bottom of it as the bottom side of a window. im not sure how to fix this

to make them interact with windows, go to settings > interactive windows and add the desired windows to the whitelist, one per line (you can make all windows interactive by adding a, i, o, u, e to the whitelist, one per line. also, add bongocat to to the blacklist as it messes with things. alternatively, leave the whitelist empty and only use the blacklist)

hugs are toggleable! to toggle them off, right-click the shimejis, go to allowed behoviors and uncheck "hunt" and "runaffordance"

POSSIBLE FUTURE UPDATES:

make them kith

add tenna's happy flower pose & make it randomly appear after hugs / kisses

make them sit together / fall asleep on each other

FEED THEM. make tenna slurp up nectar

if i really wanna suffer, i might make spamton sit on tenna's head

for even more suffering, make an outfit change for spamton (big shot ver)

random secrets hehe! :]

uhhh make them dance?? i looked at tenna's sprites and like 50% of them is him dancing. this gotta mean something

don't expect anything tho! with how productive i've been, im surprised i haven't hit a huge burnout yet
