Ratties Are So Cute!

I have a big soft spot for Rooftop Renovation! Each episode, our three hosts, Tisha, Asen, and Kefti go to a rooftop garden and renovate it!

It’s sort of a cleaning show? Like, sometimes the gardens are really scraggly and sad and need to be cleaned up, but often they’re perfectly fine but could be ~*better*~. It’s still relaxing to watch in the same way cleaning shows often are. And I find all the gardening facts super interesting.

So, *technically* you can. People do make little walking harnesses for rats! The problem is rats are so tube shaped, and their legs are so short, it’s really easy for them to slip out of harness, and hard to make a harness that fits!

If you want to, I’d make sure the harness fits super-duper well, and for their firsts walks only take them places where they’ll be easy to catch if they slip out!

Alternatively, if you want to share the nice weather with them without worrying about them escaping, you can take their cage out to a balcony or a rooftop garden (if your building allows it)!
